Shot at the very thin diagonal support below the pig in the main structure. TNT went off, set off the snow bomb and debris took out three of the four pigs on the asteroids. Cleaned up with 2nd bird. 98720
Fire Red bird through the eyes of the bottom piglet in the ice block. Red bounces off the right *then* left planetoid, then falls to the center, detonating the iceteroid. Resulting explosions frequently clear everything but a piglet on the top and bottom right planetoids. Fire Blues over the top, split so bottom birdlet hits the top right piglet, the other two will continue around and hit the bottom piglet.
Zoomed out, first bird through the bright star below pig in ice block. Blue bird to take out two remaining pigs on the bottom.
O.k lets see if the Power of the Post works again! I’ve tried the video strategy I’ve tried both @dmsral and @kelani very precise aiming point and I’ve tried my own strat going at the top of the triangle of the first pig above, landing on the blocks and exploding everything except 2 bottom piggies which i took out with bb.
But nope can’t even make average..
Consider this a very teeny tiny ‘wwhhiiinneee’
@kathy, before I read your strategy, I did the same thing! I got lucky though and got a bit more debris damage. Great minds…
Great score @Sweetp nice flinging. .hee hee yep great minds. .♡
And yes it worked lol.. that still amazes me.. the power of simply posting a little whine.spooky:/
High score is only 102k. Does that mean that no one has managed a 1-birder on this level? Very surprising, I thought that sooner or later that bridge would collapse with the first shot in the video walkthrough.
@f91jsw I don’t know if it helps, but you can accomplish that by hitting the other side of the base. Fire directly into the left white triangle. It’ll usually destroy the whole base and frequently the top section will fall rightward, then sort of climb the bridge, dislodging the second stone block that explodes the antimatter/flux capacitor.
I think the real key here is to find a way to reduce the debris blasted into space when the left TNT blows. That’s a lot of wasted points.
One odd thing I noticed; on iPad, you can hit the bottom tip of the white triangle and easily get the above sequence. On PC, it just doesn’t work. You have to hit the triangle about midway.
I sent the first bird orbiting around to drop thru the top and set off the canister, chain reaction took out all but bottom 2 pigs. Aiming point: a little ways in from the outer edge of the atmosphere. Blue bird took care of the bottom 2 pigs. It does seem like a one bird is possible. I did get lucky with the debris tiwice, taking out one of the bottom pigs. But I’ve yet to get lucky enough for the debris to knock out both bottom pigs.
Anyone who knows me, knows I don’t like to fly with the flock. But I got her too late to fly alone on this one. @Furfeather started without me. I hope you don’t mind if I fly just a little higher since I don’t get to lead. Good StRATegy.
@furfeather Thanks for posting your strategy. Could you please clarify something?
You said your aiming point was “close to the edge of the atmosphere” but any counter-clockwise shot in that area hits the rocket beside the bridge. The highest I could aim and hit the bridge is halfway between the SW ice block pig and the atmosphere boundary. Is that the shot you’re describing?
@kelani, sorry, that wasn’t very clear on my part. Perhaps better to use the clock and say I aimed at about 5, skimming past the slingshot’s asteroid.
Well @rat9, this early bird may have got here first but the rat took the worm …. errrrrr …. higher score! Congrats!
@furfeather thanks for clearing that up. Good strategy!
And yes, @Rat9 just loves to skitter in and eat scores…er…worms? :)
I thought you’re strategy was to go CW at reduced power @Furfeather. I now see you were going south, CCW at five o’clock. That being the case, I didn’t use your strat. My method will be entered as an alternate strategy.
I’m confused :/ I started going through the top but can’t break the 100k that away @kelani which way did you go?
So far I can get all but the upper right pig with one shot to the base of the block at the lower left. block flies across the gap to pick off other lower pig, red drops through the gap and triggers ice block explosion. Occasionally the reactor in the upper middle will blow before it drops through, but I have not quite gotten a block to hit upper right pig.
@burbman I’ve been working on that very same strategy for a while now, but I haven’t gotten it to work either. I did get a stone block to land on that upper right pig’s head, but he didn’t pop.
I got my score of 103,310 with a two birder.
1st shot CW at reduced power to land on top of the stone bridge. It doesn’t always fall, but that’s OK.
2nd shot at the lower left pig and split late. The center and left birds will take out the two bottom Pigs. The right bird will continue to take out the upper right pig and hit the bridge, collapsing it.
Very easy and repeatable for great scores.
A one birder is possible with this method.
Thanks @rat9, I was able to finally break 102k with this strategy. I agree a 1b should be possible, just incredibly rare. If we could find a way to destroy the NW rocket’s base with this shot, 104-106k seems possible.
PC Players: This level plays out a bit differently than on iOS. On PC, the bridge collapses easier, but I’ve never seen any debris kill or get near the bottom pigs. It may be possible, but I think it’s more frequent on iOS.
Please forgive me if I’m wrong @Dennis1978. But I think it’s possible you skipped ahead and entered your level 28 score in the level 29 box. When I looked at your scores, you had completed everything through level 27 on your leaderboard, no score on level 28, and then 106000 entered on level 29. Although 106k is theoretically possible, it’s unlikely. Again, please forgive me for bothering you if this is a valid score.
CC: @Admin
Thanks @rat9 Score removed, hopefully @dennis1978 will drop by and finish the episode.
Test @Admin @Admins
Thanks for the speedy fix @Sal9. I had given @Dennis1978 quite some time to catch it on his own, but he’s been absent.
I saw your not so subtle hint to put an “s” on the end of @Admin. Sorry about that. It works much better with the “s” on the end. We’ll get there eventually. Duh!
Congratulations on your score @Dennis1978. Sorry for questioning it.
Sorry but my score is right. Ik know de game and i play quit a moment for angry birds here. If you can tell me wher i can mail my picture too, Then i Will show you i’m playing for real and i hate cheating ;)

Fantastic Score @Dennis1978. You’ve put us all to shame. What shot did you use to get your score?
@rat9, I don’t know what shot @dennis1978 used but I’m pretty sure 1-birder is possible on this level. Shoot counter clockwise to the base of the glass square resting on southwestern moon. The square the pig inside it fly into the pig on the next southern moon and red continues up to either white rectangle below the flux capacitor or into ice boulder. I haven’t succeeded yet but my near hits would have yielded 105K-107K.
@fenikus I barked up this same tree hundreds of times with no luck. If it is possible, it’s rare enough to be more of a miracle shot than BR #19
@fenikus I never questioned @Dennis1978‘s integrity or whether 106k is possible. It just looked odd that he had been entering his scores in order, skipped one, and entered a fantastic score on this one three thousand points above the leaders. I only asked that he double check his entry. Read back. BTW, one birders are easy on this level. High scores over one hundred, a little tougher.
@rat9, how do you get an easy 1-birder on this level?
Discription is right. I’m only The First one that did iT in one bird
@Dennis1978, thanks for confirming the method. Congrats, well done.
@fenikus c’mon man, you know Ratspeak. There are no easy 1-birders on this level. :P
I dunno if it matters, but I’ve been able to punt that pig in the ice block all the way around to just in front of the the top right pig. If that thing can kill him, the 1b does get a little easier.
@kelani sorry to be a pita but is @fenikus saying the same shot you said above? Basically through the bottom piggie in the square glass?
Btw I Did get a one birder using my own strat going through the top triangle with the pig underneath but only 98k :(
I’m just wondering cuz @dennis1978 said “description is right” if he was referring to the shot at piggie in the glass box underneath. .very confusing conversation :/
@Kathy there’s three possible shots at that piggie in a glass box.
My shot was through the piggie’s eyes/ears, which gives a 2-birder.
@fenikus‘ description of @dennis1978 shot involves hitting the box where it touches the planet, punting it to the right. That can play out several ways, and I guess a 1-birder must possible, but rare enough that only one person’s gotten it.
My new strategy is aiming at the bottom left corner of the box (relative to the screen) That has given me several 1b near misses with 1 pig left. But the key is it’s not always the same pig, so I know they all CAN die. in theory anyway.
The difference between 97k and 102k is these things being destroyed:
the base of the white rocket
all but 1 or 2 of the blocks at right
all the boulders at right
all but 1-2 pieces of debris not leaving orbit
@Kathy just saw you got a 1-birder. Nice job! You’re doing better than me :)
Thanks @kelani I’ve been trying all those ways but no luck getting to 100k yet. .
Lol noppe no one- birder here. .
@Kathy In your last ‘sorry to be a pita’ post, you said you got a 98k 1-birder! Good thing you have that vacation coming! ;)
Getting above 100k takes awhile. I can only do it about 1/100 tries. +102k took forever.
Lol @kelani I forgot! ! Cuz it didn’t amount to much:/ yep happy I’m on vacation iNeed it obviously haha
I give up @kelani :( maybe another day. .
My 2-bird strategy to maximize points (103,060 so far) is as follows:
Bird 1: Red directly into the upper wood block just above the TNT. You don’t want the ice crystal to explode at this point though. 22K is good, 23K+ is better, 24K+ is excellent. Play with angles, the idea is to control the explosion and have as little debris as possible float into space. Screenshot: Space Beak Impact Level 8-29 Bird 1 Screenshot
Bird 2: Blues southeast into the ice cube holding the pig, activate just before impact. This takes care of 3 leftover pigs on southwest, southeast, and northeast moons. One or two of the Blues will activate the crystal, or the third blue will push one of the rectangular blocks from the bridge into the flux capacitor.
Of course, 1-birder strategy @Dennis1978 used is better scoring but it’s a really hard shot to pull of and has eluded me so far.
AB Gods have heard my complaints about the 1-birder eluding me and not a day later granted me the privilege of getting one: 107,910. Thanks AB Gods.
Sorry about this level flingers. My approaches have been all over the place. Normally I wait until I’ve settled on a strategy before posting. Well, I’m finally happy with what approach will get the highest scores, up to 114k. It’s nothing new. Fling red bird CCW through the tip of the lower ice block with the pig in it. Here’s a picture of what should happen.
8-29 trajectory
Thanks @Dennis1978. Even though you didn’t know exactly how you got your top score, you were my inspiration to keep going CCW. Now everybody is going to want a 106k+ score. Thanks!
Finally, the elusive 1-birder! Credit to @rat9 for confirming the actual shot, which (of course) I posted on June 27 and quickly abandoned. :)
Screenshot with Trajectory and Impact Spots
Shoot full speed into the bottom left corner (relative to the screen, not the planet) of the ice box. PigBox is punted into the SE pig, killing both. Red flies around and hits the right triangular block in the rocket’s base, then bounces into one of two places.
1. The bridge’s leftmost stone block. This doesn’t work.
2. The bridge’s second stone block. This is the spot, but only rarely will the block fall. Even when it does, a fluxcap explosion is rare. Get that, and you’ve got a 106-113k 1-birder. This takes lots of patience.
There’s a trick that’ll make the perfect shot easy. When aiming for the box corner, if you adjust your aim left or right like normal, the aiming lines will skip over the corner. You can aim a bit left or right, but not directly on it. The trick: Move your finger up or down a few pixels, then try aiming at the corner again. Here’s why:
Imagine a dashed line (- – – – -) from the sling through where you dragged your finger/pointer to aim. If your finger is on a dash, you can’t aim directly at the corner. But, if you’re in the space between dashes, you can aim at it. I hope this isn’t too confusing, because it makes the shot soooo much easier.
Big surprise, my aiming trick confused someone, so here’s a picture that should clear it up.
Aiming Trick HowTo
Thank you @kelani for the excellent aiming explanation. I’m sure it works well for those using fingers, but for those of us playing on a PC and using a mouse, a different strategy seems to be needed to get the correct aiming spot. If you are reading this, you have noticed that the aiming line either goes too high and you miss the pig completely, or too low and the red bird ends up just going to the second pig and not around to the top. SO……..Start with the aiming line in the too low spot. Move the mouse just a tiny tiny bit, but not so much that the aiming line moves to the upper spot. (the aiming line shouldn’t move at all) The result should be a shot that takes out both bottom pigs, hits the white triangle and bounces to the stone bridge. I haven’t (at least so far) actually gotten the stone block to fall, but at least I can sometimes hit it.
@Stocktoad C’mon man, you know I’m a PC/mouse guy too! :) My point was just that as you pull back, there are groups of pixels under your cursor/finger which can hit the sweet spot, and others where it can’t. If you can’t get the dots to land on that sweet spot, micro-adjust in line with the aiming dots, instead of perpendicular to them.
I do like your aiming description. It definitely isn’t an easy shot. For my score, I had my right hand on the mouse, and my left stabilizing it (i.e. heel of left hand, pinky and thumb on the table, three fingers spread on top of right hand). That really helped me make the micro-corrections without jerking around.
I wish you luck++ getting the shot. It’s challenging, but that’s never stopped you before. :)
Yes @kelani I know you are a PC guy, but….I also know that you can be a bi-platform guy…(not that there is anything wrong with that) Since your aiming tips didn’t work for me on the PC I though you must be playing this on an “i”something.
@Stocktoad lol. Well, for future reference, I’m only bi-platform-curious. Once PC version comes out, the *i*something gets kicked to the curb. If a PC-cursed level crops up, I *may* have a brief fling to take care of it. :)
@Kelani Thanks a lot for your detail explanation. Let me join 1-birder club. /
@Kelani, Thanks for the tip. The aiming point is easily repeatable (the aiming line should go into the left side of the bottom left box and come out below it) but as you say, the 1-bird solution is still a low percentage shot.
@Stocktoad and other PC players, Since Beak Impact consists almost entirely of 1-bird levels you have a tremendous advantage. Just use a trackball instead of a mouse.
Get the aiming line juuuust right and take your fingers off the trackball, shoot, reset the level with the R key and bash the mouse button to repeat the shot. The aiming line is still there from the previous attempt.
(I’m playing Beak Impact on a phone but I’ve been known to engage in some bi-platform action.)
Thanks for the info @burpie . I know I had a trackball probably close to 20 years ago. It probably is on the bottom of one of my boxes of old computer junk. I’ll have to look.
many thx to @kelani and all other for the one-birder
here my video with 107k:

Yippie!!!! There’s a new Sheriff in town boys ;-)))
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/lesleyg/album/picture/10085/
I couldn’t resist the Challenge and all the talk in the BP over this one!!! Thank you for bringing to my attention ;D
Like the rest of you, I sent Red at the tip of the bottom blue square…just barely grazing it so that he popped that pig, bounced on the other bottom one before sailing up and around, landing on the top left cement plank that makes up the left side of the bridge! It was a beautiful thing;-) He hit it just hard enough to cause it to fall in to ignite the capacitor. To get the one birdie, you really need to just graze it so Red can continue on his journey!!!
For those of you that still haven’t got the one birdie…I have a tip that helps give you better scores using two birds…IMO
Same first shot but if you get the usual outcome where some pigs remain…no matter which ones…send the blues in also SOUTH, even if you got both bottom pigs. Send them in with the same basic trajectory, splitting them about half way through the two planets. This actually depends on which pigs remain…if you need to get the bottom left pig, then of course split accordingly…but when you send them south, I immediately started to increase my score. One will get the top right pig( if needed) and at least another one will end up at the top to collapse the bridge. Once the capacitor explodes, when coming in at this angle, it seemed to do more damage to the top right rocket and it’s base. I even seemed to keep more debris within the gravity field. I seemed to get a better explosions with the middle right stones and pigs too ;-)
I hope this was helpful ;-)))
@lesleyg Wow, you’re the fifth new Sheriff today. Those townspeople sure are finicky. :) Anyway great job, and thanks for letting me have the job for…2 1/2 hours.
Didn’t I tell ya? Visiting the Bloated Pig will put everyone in super flinger mode. :)
Thanks for the tip about the blue birds @lesleyg ! Having a heck of a time getting the first bird to break the stone arch in the north. I just keeps settling safely next to the rocket…grrrr…
One-birder, same strategy as in @comex666 video. @sweetp – here is my screenshot https://angrybir.de/3lbhk45
