This is such a fun one-birder!
Aiming tip: pull Blue straight down, aligning with the left arm of the slingshot. Release and split just before impact with the pig sitting on the glass covering the first gap.

As described. As far as I can tell, to achieve over 130k, the score prior to the gas canisters firing, needs to be 40k. If not reset.

Revisiting here. This time tech allowed me to record what happened. It’s not the high score and I cannot replicate @jtb ‘s amazing one. However watch what happens to the top canister; it seems to activate all by itself!

@steviep147 It’s been so long I honestly don’t remember how I came by that score but it looks like you split fairly late while my comments elsewhere on this page seem to indicate an early split is needed. Unfortunately the place where I split the birds is obscured by the stars in the photo I posted. I’ve learned better since then…. if ever I need to post another high score photo (not holding my breath).

I finally broke 130k. The bulk of the destruction came from the cannister on the top in the upper-right. It ignited with the tether intact and flew horizontally with a trailing piece of pipe; it plowed through all of the debris for many points. If only it were repeatable on demand.

Dear @jwgardenwiz, yes that top canister is the clue, it must fly horizontally in order to gather some extra debris.

This is another level where there’s actually no strategy, you just need to keep flinging the bird over and over and over. The canister in the upper right does need to fly horizontally, as mentioned above, that’s the only way to get extra points.

Accck!!! Soooo close! I abandoned the strategy described by everybody else; it just wasn’t working for me and I couldn’t get that canister to go sideways.. I started to fling at a steep angle and split almost immediately so that the first bird would activate the canister, the second bird would hit the middle section, and the last bird would land in the gap. I found the canister would usually always travel horizontally causing a lot of damage. I wasn’t fast enough because I didn’t realize how good my score was but I do have a screenshot.

@Kathy er… how do you do that ? Apologies – I’ve never known how people get these snazzy vids and screen shots lol.
My split was almost immediate after firing blue – you can get different effects by leaving more or less time before split – the one you are after is the one where the leftmost blue bird goes straight in the gap where the second pig lives. My initial aiming point was the corner of the structure just above the 4th pig from the left. So the corner just to the left of the upwards pointing triangular piece at the top of the middle structure.
On top of this strategy is a lot of luck and also a lot of patience – much like most of the tougher levels in Short Fuse.
