One strategy for Angry Birds Short Fuse level 27-12 is to target the pink potion in the top-right corner with the Yellow bird, then the right structures with a Pink bird. Use the White bird to drop the tripling potion onto the nearby piggy, earning an extra 10,000 points versus simply popping him. The score in the video below is 112,000.

Issue with Angry Birds 2 and windows
Same as vid, except the whole right side was cleared (lots of luck) and I cleaned up the left pig with Pink. 1 birder possible.
I also found that clearing the right side was the most challenging part of this level.
I’ll wait to see more alternatives :-)
Ok, I made like hundred attempts…
YB through leftmost pig. Repeat until top part of structure (with bottle) falls on top of 4 small piggies. Voila 4×3= lots of points :-)
Then use pink to throw highest tower rightwards and to clean entire right part of level
Shoot WB downwards, drop egg in such way so that the WB corpse breaks pipes.
I used the same strategy, unfortunately no high score (yet :-). If you aim YB close under the blue bottle he continues into the triangle under the tower in the middle. This also damages the upper pig on the right and can yield a score of about 75K.
145800/3 currently, by a probably too contrived strategy, but here it goes:
1st) lob (do not speed up) to top left corner above pink potion. structure should be damaged but nothing should break or be activated (it’s ok if the top pig is killed). bird should fall back to the left and damage horizontal wood below, and then usually slowly rolls to the right. wait for that. score of 2.6k (or 7.8 if top pig was killed).
2nd) high arc to just above and to the left of the blue potion. it should be lifted and dropped onto the four pigs, and the other lifted material should activate the pink potion.
if you’re lucky everthing drops for a score of up to 160k (i think; have had 155k near misses). if not:
3rd) clean up. usually one of two situations.
i) the pink potion was not activated. then high arc and activate the bird right next to it so the carcass hits the potion.
ii) the right two structures were not hit by falling debris of the 2nd. make them drop.
many things can go wrong for each of the shots.
1st) easy shot. if structure collapses for some reason, reset.
2nd) tricky shot. activation must be very precise for the potion to reach the pigs. activating all four is also tricky since the potion should only narrowly miss the middle structure for that. i reset if fewer than three pigs split.
3rd) both i) and ii) are quite unreliable (in my case).
still, i currently get 130k+ scores every 10-15 minutes or so, i.e. not bad, but not good either, so improvements welcome.
(tried various things before settling on the above, like shaving off the top layers of the middle structure with the 1st (could not do it reliably), lifting the blue potion via a low arc (less reliable for me than the high one). i also tried to activate both the blue and pink potions simultaneously on the four pigs. succeeded twice in that, but both times the right structures were not affected (level failed) and scoring wasn’t that great either.) got 140k+ scores with both 3i) and 3ii) and also with only 2 birds but then the 2nd only split three instead of four pigs.
btw the bottom right structure is sometimes unstable. the more it shifts to the right (it may even self destruct) the better.
Thank you @vuelva for sharing! Only 134k so far, but happy to get that… for now ;)
I prefer this approach over the one above from @zwizdan007. No matter how many tries I hit the left pig, never got the bottles to go over. With this approach I was ale to improve my 114k to 124k and then to 145320. Had to use the white bird as the rightmost pig would not drop. Would have been more if it had. More points to gain here. Very good approach even though the score after the first bird may seem low.
Good strategy @vuelva. I was having the same problems though, either the right hand structures weren’t falling or the blue potion wasn’t hitting all four pigs. I solved the right hand structure problem by firing the YB straight up with a quick tap coming down on the wooden triangle of the top right structure, which can topple onto the bottom and take it out too. Now, if I can only solve the potion problem.
had experimented with that as well but in the end decided in favour of weakening the top structure making it easier to activate the pink potion with the 2nd. instead i avoid problems with the right structure by force: reset until the bottom-right structure shifts significantly to the right (say its peak is to the right of the dark patch in the background). this happens surprisingly often (haven’t done the statistics proper but would guess 1 in 10 on average). it makes the 2nd and 3rd shot more nerve-wracking though so can only play this for 10 to 15 minutes. haven’t gotten a 150k+ score yet, but i am convinced someone will.
btw for the 2nd i make the sling line up perfectly with something (it will be clear what i mean) in the background.
Tried your method @vuelva, but could not get Stella to successfully pick up & drop the blue potion on the four pigs below. Where exactly did you aim her before activating the bubbles? Is it possible to show us a screen shot of where you aimed and when did you activate the bubbles? thank you!
can’t explain it much better in words than i did above, and it seems impossible to me to activate the bird and make a screen shot at the same time with my ipad as both need touch-actions. will try to make a video instead, but that may take a day or so. hope that’s ok.
will have to wait some more: wanted to use my ab playing program for making a video, but that needs to be updated to play the latest version (the font sizes for the (high)score have changed, in any case in the mac version).
up to 151k now by using the sequence: restart ab, go to level 26 10, leave level 26 10 (without doing anything), go to level 26 12, reload once, to consistently make the bottom right structure self-destruct (on my device, see below).
the point of this is to get consistency so you can focus on the crucial 2nd bird as described above. to lift the bottle toward the four pigs with the 2nd, i either make it bounce off the diagonal wood to the right and activate immediately after when still to the left of the bottle, or send it slightly more to the right and activate it just before impact with the horizontal wood again to the left of the bottle. in case of my current best score after the 2nd only the bottom-middle structure with two pigs alive remained for a 134k score. didn’t do to well with the 3rd (bringing the structure down by sending the carcass to the pipes from below, as described in other comments, but leaving a lot of debris and not getting all the flowers), so more definitely possible.
as discussed in the comments for level 26 6, reset sequences are device dependent so the above sequence may not work for you. to find sequences for your device, you may proceed by restarting angry birds, then enter and leave one of the levels of world 26, and then seeing whether reloading a small number of times (i limited it to 10 at most) level 26 12 leads to self-destruction of the bottom-right structure. once you’ve found one (or several) sequence use it over and over again. i found several of such short (fewer than 10 taps) sequences, and i expect this method will yield such short sequences on most devices (btw other combinations are certainly possible; eg on my device: enter/leave level 26 1; enter/leave level 26 3; enter level 26 12, reload twice, works as well).
TMAM: haven’t mastered the floating drop onto the 4 pigs yet, but your self-destruct suggestion has worked every time on my iPhone. thanks! (hope to eventually top the 140,020 i got using a different strategy – see below).
@vuelva — Wow! Hadn’t noticed your comments before. But works great. Wasn’t sure what you meant by restart AB, so I did a hard close (on iPad), and followed your instructions. Not only was I rewarded by a shift, but the bottom right structure fell for 8120 pts! Now if I can only get the blue potion to drop correctly.
3rd restart fell for 8590!
Destruction on 2nd restart following @vuelva‘s instructions is repeatable for >10 times. Destruction on 3rd restart hasn’t happened again.
Got blue potion to drop on center pigs a couple of times, but did not collapse center tower. couldn’t even complete level! Gaah!
@vuelva, can say that the sequence worked well on an Ipad 3. Question is how on earth did you figured this out? It’s brilliant, as your score is.
always had known since i had begun playing angry birds free that patterns of self-desruction were the same upon restarting the game and going to the level directly, in that case angry birds free level III-2. i thought this had long been addressed by rovio, until ernor63 pointed out rovio hadn’t (for level 26 6, see the comments there).
my idea of what is going on is that some random number generator (if you’re not familiar with programming, think of a random number generator as a built-in dice, with the shared property that the next value should not be predictable from the previous ones, but a difference being that in the case of random number generators the sequence of outcomes after reset is determined completely by some initial value, the seed) is used to construct levels. this random number generator has a fixed seed value upon program restart. moreover, this random number generator is called a fixed, large (maybe linear in the number of elements in the level?) number of times upon level initialisation and the generated random numbers determine small variations in the placement and properties of the elements within the level, and in that way also determine whether the level (or part of it) will then self-collapse or not: after initialisation subsequent behaviour of standard elements is completely fixed since the underlying physics engine, box2d, is deterministic.
under the assumption that the above hypothesis is correct, it was reasonable to also expect that going to another level and leaving it immediately has a fixed effect upon the random number generator, in the sense that it is then also called a fixed number of times. the point is that probably this number is different from the one for just reloading (the level one is interested in playing), since probably both levels have different numbers of elements in them, bumping the random generator a different number of times in this way, leaving it in a different state, leading to different subsequent sequences of generated random numbers. in this way, this probably leads to different self-collapse patterns, which is a good, thing when one is exploring, trying to find self-collapse sequences (always trying the same sequence does not bring anything; the pattern will always be the same).
this then led me to do the experiments described above for finding self-collapsing sequences; i just methodologically tried restarting ab, going to one of the sf-levels, leaving it, going to 26-12 and reloading it a small number of times to see whether it would lead to self-collapse after each. this worked fine, in that it produced several useful partial self-collapse sequences, but many other experiments could be done as well; i just did the simplest ones i could think of.
i hope the above makes sense. but irrespective of that: one can try this method for any level where one thinks that (partial) self-collapse brings an advantage, but all this may be very device dependent (as was pointed out by ernor63), as probably the random number generator is dependent on some api which is subject to change at any moment, and guarantees only a distribution of the numbers generated or something such, but certainly not the concrete sequence that will be generated upon ab restart.
Wow, cross Jeff Goldblum’s Jurassic Park character with @amslimfordy and you may approach that metamathematically inspired theorem.
Your strategy of not accelerating the YB has gotten me consistently higher scores. I have yet to replicate your entire approach and am well below the pack of high-scorers, but I have high hopes. Thanks for your insights. I’d love to hear the approach used by swanz to attain the top score; 227k is truly astonishing for this level. I benefitted from the domino effect when everything toppled right and left and got my 132k with a one-birder.
109k is 2 stars, 110k is 3 stars.
Yellow bird to upper middle tower. 2nd bird to far right taking out both pigs/and debris. White bird to center pig. 111K
1 birdied this level. YB into box containing pink potion. Do not activate speed. Potion dropped onto 4 small pigs below while small pig fell onto blue potion. I’m not certain what toppled the right side but down it went. I think it must have been the big pig rolling right. I was too busy watching the drama on the left side unfolding. Unfortunately, 125k points only so I’m going to give @vuelva‘s strat a go.
i’ve consistently gotten 115-130K+ using the method below – with a high score of 139,710 using just the first two birds – although it often takes all three. i’ve also found this to be a pretty simple method to repeat.
1) fire YB below main structure into leaking pipe to take out the 5 lower pigs in center. if you nick the corner of the pipe where the blue bottle is, the YB will hit the ground and sometimes roll to the right and take out one flower – sometimes more. but just hitting the first vertical pipe anywhere will often yield 38K. i’ve gotten up to 41K. i start over if i get less than 37K.
2) arc the second bird between the blue and pink bottles. just when it drops near the pink bottle, activate the bubble-lift mechanism. time it right and both bottles will engage their respective pigs. if you’re lucky that means the two pigs above/below the pink bottle and the single pig beneath the blue bottle. and if you’re really lucky everything will collapse.
3) if one or two pigs remain on the right side, lob the white/3rd bird into the concrete above the top right pig, without dropping the egg bomb, and often this will cause a domino effect, taking them both out.
Thanks @giantratz. Having trouble with the stellar strat this popped me above avg
I checked three times, but indeed 26-12 154200 points, no power ups.
I shot Chuck into the pink potion without activating speed. It hit both pigs and all the debris hit the right side.
Then Stella into the wood of first structure. The blue potion hit the four pigs in the middle.
Matilda low, activating egg, into the pipes.
@trishohara, did you take advantage of the self-destruct for your current score, or did you manage without it?
@bonneypattycat I had no self-destruction
Thanks @trishohara! Good to a high score is possible without messing about with hard closes and resets :)
I wish I’d managed to even come close to mock a mockingbird (@vuelva,) whose stats I’ve used many times with SF. I tried the 1st post above for 145800/3, but I NEVER got 2nd shot, so I improvised.
The later post for R side partial self destruct, worked ALL the time on my Android phone & always for 8980, so I went to my plan #2, a revised & combined strategy starting with the a score of 8980 for partial self destruction while still having all 3 birds.
I then incorporated @giantratz strategy & for 1st & 2nd shots. After the 1st shot I averaged the high end of 47k, occasionally 48k. Almost all the time the 2nd shot completed the level leaving a 10k bonus bird with my best score so far 129730. There’s more than one way to work this one.
How are the 200k+ of the recent highscore possible?
the current 220k+ top score for this level also bugs me. i don’t think it is possible. for the sake of argument, i could imagine replicating 6 pigs (instead of 4), using 1 bird (instead of 3), and getting 20k extra destruction. but even with such a miracle, the score would not exceed 210k. hence i had flagged that score, but it is still there. @amslimfordy, could you confirm this is just a lack of imagination on my side, or a bug, or …?
After probably 1000-plus attempts, I gave up on the blue potion and focused on pink instead, here is a repeatable strategy for 140k+ points….Yellow bird, un-activated, just over the left-hand structure to the vertical wood block next to the pink potion. If hit just right, it will roll down and activate all four of the small pigs below, causing massive destruction. Follow the exact same flight path with the pink bird and try to tip over as much debris as possible, hopefully leaving the white bird for bonus points.
@optik did you take advantage of the self-destruct for your current score, or did you manage without it?
@bonneypattycat I did not make use of the self destruction, got everything on this one by just flinging LOL!
I have been using 2 birds for this level.
The first bird is used to bring down the two rightmost structures.
The trick is to push the stone triangle onto the first of the two structures.
Like this: http://oi60.tinypic.com/2dhzdbp.jpg
Then this: http://oi61.tinypic.com/3008yko.jpg
The second bird is like described by others. Just to the left of the blue bottle and triggered just after touching the plank.
Here is the result for my highest score: http://oi59.tinypic.com/2ymael5.jpg
And this is the highscore screenshot: http://oi57.tinypic.com/5oyphz.jpg
For the record, here is a 160k+ near miss. Too bad this pig didn’t fall down… http://oi57.tinypic.com/2bbfh2.jpg
Hope it helps.
Hi @Asher 🐣 sorry to bother you (not really) lol I hope I don’t bother you, But here I am 😊 great score as usual, I’m just trying to make averages for now in this long forsaken episode! I don’t quite get what your saying and i can’t view your screenshot (tinypic) even lately with the Imgur images some i can’t see,. anyhow you want the Stone triangle on top the highest structure to fall backwards onto the first structure? I’ve actually made that happen, but in doing so It also destroys the Blue potion bottle, making the second shot with Stella moot? Am i confused yes 😕 am I usually confused¿ yes ,you must shake your head and wonder¿, do i bring you a smile¿ I hope so 😊 I appreciate any help you can offer🐣
never mind, lol you mean the ‘first 2 structures’ from right to left, duh 😮 but it was fun getting that triangle to take out the left front! haha😂
nope Don’t never mind! If i get the triangle to hit the right top of the structure, it smashes before it can hit the bottom of the two?
@kathy: All that in 4 minutes ;-)
From the pictures, the stone triangle stays on the roof of the top right structure that is resting on the rightmost one.
It was 5 years ago, so I can’t say that I remember more about it ;-)
😂 Lol @Asher Yep that’s me when manic and flinging! I understand it was a long time ago, I appreciate the reply anyway thank you 😊
I did finally manage to get above average barely, I’m sure these levels have changed quite a bit with all the updates. I’m still gonna try though, getting bored in Seasons, so thought I’d finish up the rest of ABO😎
I have reposted the image here in one set:
https://imgur.com/a/tG8GmXv
One-birded it for 150k. Yellow activated either directly into or just below the pink bottle (I was experimenting, so I don’t remember). Bubbled pig toppled the right structures, debris cleared out the left and bottom, tripling the left-most pig, and somehow Chuck managed to roll down the slope and nab all the flowers. One of those ones where everything magically falls into place.
The yellow bird through the bottom pipes, the pink bird to activate the pink potion, the white bird to clear the right-most tower. That was the method that got me my high score. My high score is still below average so I’ve been trying the videos method. I’ve tried to get the blue potion on the four pigs, but the pink bird is unreliable (debris smashes blue potion to soon). I wish they gave a boomerang bird in this stage. I wonder why the ledge way above and to the right of the stage is there.
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I had 138,000 and everything destroyed, but the far right pig, with two teeth missing and a black eye, roof off the structure, very exposed, DIDN’T DIE. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH.
first bird MOON-shot, break a little bit on right side
second to the left tower, activate before hit the wood,
blue bottle fall to the right, 4 pigs activate
third activate over gap, bird hit the right tower
here a video with 158k:

Out of all the levels in AB and AB Rio, This is the hardest level to complete, prove me wrong. Not even talking about 3 stars or average, just completion.
