Our strategy for Wreck the Halls level 24 is to aim the Orange bird straight towards the middle of the level and expand him right before the star that’s encased in ice. Next lob the Yellow bird to take out the ice block holding up the big pile of stones. Lastly, use the other Yellow bird take out the remaining pig. The score in the video below is 101,040.

100k – 3 stars – 2nd try – 1 bird left
1st bird goes up a bit to destroy the top first pig then blows it up should get 2 pigs left
2nd bird kills the middle bottom pig & gets the TNT
3rd goes to he far right to push down the whole sto e tower, making sure the 3 presents are done too (would get u 9k points for that)
1 birder is possible I guess. Not a hard level overall!!

Improved at 105,770 with 2 birds
1st – orange bird goes in the middle, again, tries to get the first pig (the one with helmet) & travel as right as possible. Once it inflates & with some luck, all pigs are killed except the one protected by the stone tower
2nd – push it “hard” to collapse the whole stone tower & destroy all the presents at the bottom right
2 birds left!! Good luck to all :-)
I found this level rather annoying, even when just trying to complete it for the first time. It’s not at all obvious to me how to use the orange bird properly when there are a bunch of snowblocks! But at any rate, I ended up using all four birds for a score of 95600. The orange bird wiped out most of the left side, the first yellow bird got the helmeted pig on the top left, the second yellow bird got the top right pig (causing some of the wood to fall and destroy some stuff below it) and the red bird knocked out the snowblock under the stone tower, causing it to fall leftward into the TNT and killing the two remaining pigs. The level was mostly cleared, including all the presents; only a few pieces remained.
97749 3* – key seems to be positioning of the orange blowup bird – put through rope between first bell and wreath, then depending on damage, yellow to take out snow under far right stone tower and mop up with final yellow
1st ob – aim just below the christmas wreath on the top left, break through the ropes to make those annoying bells fall then orange will end up somewhere around middle-right, inflates and takes out all but the two farthest right most pigs (high right and in cement block)
2nd yb – just launched him right at the stone tower on right, that tips, breaks to kill pig and get presents. The top right pig was still SLOWLY rolling from previous shot and fell during second shot.

Fling orange bird up high n over to right side, just hitting snow block where top pig is on right n then falling down between wood tower n stone tower, when it balloons it takes out most of that Side and the middle after TnT blows . Big points left on left side if shot can be tweaked

113730, took me a long time to even pass this one. Total lucky shot on orange bird horizontal shot to launch middle wooden block sitting on the snow all the way into stone tower to knock it over. Then sets off chain reaction to take out lower pigs.
103290 o/b thru top left snow block, then took out stone tower on right, , then cleaned up with tnt shot. Tried the one bird shot to the left side with no luck
1-24, 101520 w/ a very skinny “one birdie”.. The day is young, Merry Christmas to all the “shooters” at ABN!..

106,110 using 2 birds.
1st – through the wood on the far right to just barely take the top right pig then go through wood and fall as low as possible. This takes cement, gifts and pig on left, which then blows TNT and bottom pig.
2nd – high arc to angle down for the two pigs remaining top left and center, with a little more snow damage from falling cement.

104990 in two birds. On arc up to hit bottom edge of wreath snow block – takes the string Dow and carries onto middle. With a little luck everything collapses except stone tower. Send by into side of it to knock over so pig in square is killed and presents destroyed. Took quite a few goes to get right.

Orange bird flung over the top to take out the tower – also taking out two other birds on right hand side and causing stone block to drop on TNT.
Yellow bird through wreath on left to take out helmeted pig at top. Debris fell on pig right in middle. Small pig on top right hand side rolled off.
has anybody else had problems with achieving the score addict today? have a total score from 2.550.500 and the achievement has not yet appeared! any tips, suggestions?
Mine didn’t pop up like a regular achievement. Try checking the game center, it might be there. Achievements take a while before they show up.
Got 3 stars with 96100 using 2 birds.

2 birds 104,430. I high arced balloon bird so he ended up next to the stone tower once inflated he took out all pigs except for Helmet pig (top left) and middle Santa pig. Yellow bird high arc to clean those pigs up. Could get more collateral damage so I think 110,000 – 115,000 is possible. Good luck all and Happy Holidays to all!

1 bird, 106500. Not the same method as Marieketje though.
I aimed o/b at the middle pig, so it flew right under the big bell, collided with the small bell, took out the middle pig and then inflated in such a way that debris flew everywhere, taking down the two pigs at the top, toppled the tower on the presents and detonated the TNT.
Left a lot of stuff to be destroyed though. Dunno if the method is a dead end or not. Has anyone else used it?
Got 115,070 this way. IMHO the trick is to manually inflate the bird when it’s just right of the middle pig (this gives the wooden blocks to the right of the middle pig sufficient momentum to top the stone tower).

not to sure what i did with the orange but im sure i was aiming it for the first wreath and just clipping the bottom corner so the bird ends up taking out the snow block under first top pig and landing on top of middle pig ( with santa hat on ) then he blew up and everything fell with only top right pig left and tower….missed screen shot as was getting ready for yellow bird which i flew into snow block n then pushing tower over ( took screeny then)

Ok, 107,390 with a different method. 3 birds.
My approach is to shoot the orange bird down at about 45. Pulling the slingshot back to just above horizontal seems to work for me. With luck the OB flys through the blocks and momentum carries it up the little pile of rocks. Inflate it then will cause an avalanche taking out most of the sturcture and pigs, except the upper left pig and pig in stone block. Second bird to snow under stone blocks, hopefully they tip and break when falling. 3rd bird takes out upper left pig.
112030 with one bird. Picture attached. Launch orange bird in a high arch. It should break the wooden beam on the far right. Inflate it as it slides down next to the cement blocks. Everything was destroyed. Pretty easy. Merry Christmas!!!

Did this by accident, then I saw your suggestion. It got me 110130, and I have repeated it a few times, so it works. The orange bird hits the top right snow block under the right top pig, takes out the bell and inflates by itself; nice chain reaction and all pigs die. The top right pig did wobble a bit, but just wait for it. Thanks to all for the tips!

110150 – 1bird
Same as most ……high arc to right side just brushed by far right pig (to its left) but did not knock the pig or wood block it’s on. I did not inflate balloon, it inflated on its own. Took out all pigs & most debris for lots of points, 75000+ at that point. Fortunately, as I was about to launch yb I noticed the remaining far right pig started teetering. It fell for a 1 bird total of 80150 with 30000 for the remaining 3 birds. I would like to think it was skill, but def a VERY LUCKY Droid user here.
112K with one bird shot between the wreath and bell on the left. It scooted past the center pig in the Santa hat, allowing all pigs to be destroyed when it activated. The tower fell to the left though, so I didn’t get the presents. :-(
I’m off to try the right arc strategy many of you had success with. Thanks to all of you fine ABNers for your generosity in sharing your methods. Happy Holidays to all!
One bird to the center yielded 114K on my iPhone
106k with one bird.Throw orange bird on the rope in between wreath and bell,inflate when hits wood and should kill all pigs,took a while to get 3 stars.I hope the next level should reach 120,000 for 3 stars because that’s how much I need for score addict achievement.
124520 with 1 bird…. aimed just under bell and inflated bird when it reached center pig. Wooden blocks to right took out stone tower and pigs above. TNT then took out bottom pigs with everything collapsing!
Alright I’ve managed to improve my score by about 7k points. I Used one of the strategies mentioned already in the thread. I just want to give a little better clarification than I’ve seen explained.
I Line up the OB on the zoomed in view. Using the rounded shape of the tree in the background behind the sling, I draw down till the belly of the OB is just a pixel away from the round shape of the tree. This will, if you don’t flinch like I do when realeasing, will hit the long slanted wooden plank AND the snowbank supporting the pig and missing the two wooden blocks. This will hopefully drop the OB right beside the column with the star cookie. I inflate right at the level of this cookie which will knock everything down. If you inflate to early you hit the wood block and break them. you need them to fall dowm to trigger the TNT below. too far below the OB will not break them. ( which I might add infuriated me to no end. OB blows up and when deflating the snowblock reappears untouched. whatever rovio).
Good luck with the other strategies. i have tried them and can’t get the same measure of repeatability. It is nice that there is background images to line up against on all three strategies though.

Hello @swelld, nice score!!! I am just now getting started on today’s Challenge level and was wondering if your strat and score above is a one birdie? Also I wanted to clarify you are coming in at the right side of the star cookie? If so, what is suppose to get the helmet pig. sorry, I haven’t gone back and read any of the previos 54 comments..there are so many, lol.

O.k @swellD I finally didn’t flinch..but ob blew up on top of 2 wooden blocks. Near snow block with star cookie I got the one birder for a 5 k improvement ..:) ty for strat..helped a lot even though I made mistake it worked out well.. gonna try for more as I see my leader @lesleyg is #1 on most improved:)

I’m with @karen68 on this one, I can’t seem to find those points either.
It’s funny, when I first saw the challenge, it said my score was 105K, but when I opened the level it was actually 107K. It’s nice to improve without even having to fling a single bird! I was able to get it up to 110K with this method, but actually got my current 111K with a very lucky second bird.
Oh my poor ears @kathy… I must be flinching too. Never done it in one & I just don’t seem to get the destuction everyone else is talking about. I will persevere however, it worked for you – nice score!
@karen68 ..I found ya;) I tried swellD strat but missed and ob landed on top of the wooden blocks to the left of star cookie..he exploded and everything went..I haven’t quite been able to do it again. But just keep aiming the way he/ she (not sure) and eventually…the other way I tried was just clip bottom of snowblock holding wreath and ob should fall in middle and blow..then yb at stone blocks holding pig on far right.. to kno k down and take out tnt… good luck…
A couple of notes. This strat was first mentioned @marieketje and was what I used on my droid. My bifocal needing eyes couldn’t do much better than 106k on my droid. Now that I have an IPad it way better! I wonder if I could play it on my plasma with appleTV?
I also forgot to mention @AngryAdvisor that I was aiming to the top right but after you took the shot hopefully it was clear :-)
I have also tried the under the bell shot and have a pretty good line on where it’s supposed to go but there are more chances for randomness in that path. However, I have had massive destruction more so than any other way but often leave the pig-in-a-box OR the left top helmeted pig. If someone can manages to time it right, a score of 120k plus is very possible.
I believe that the necessary thing is that you HAVE to hit the top left wreath to knock it slightly up and to the right. The imparts the right angle to the OB to shoot it down toward the Santa hat pig and OVER AND THROUGH to the right side. Inflation usually happens on its own. I will play around with drawing a trajectory on a screencap to show the angle.

Like many others I send OB with a high lob into the gap at the end. It took me gaziljon tries, but finally I got a decent score of 113890.
