Angry Birds Seasons Winter Wonderham level 1-21 was first available on Friday, December 21st, 2012. Fling Stella towards the snow balls on the far right. The bubbles should lift them and fall on the structure below, destroying all the pigs.
Bonus! Our Winter Wonderham level 1-21 Mighty Eagle walkthrough is live as well!
106K, first go, surely a lot more room to go for
1st bird to the far right lift up the snow and big stone destroying some of the structure on the ground;
2nd to lift up the pig in the middle.
I picked up the snowball/wreath pile on the left first, then went for the far right snow/stone. 105k, which is a 3*, but there’s more potential in this.
As hinarei says, my best score so far (117k) came from lifting the left snow pile first and then going for the one on the right, but it’s definitely a less reliable method. My suspicion, however, is that the highest scores will be from sending the first bird from the top pile and then getting a lucky-shaped debris pile on the bottom that allows a second pink bird to nestle inside and destroy more than 10k of debris.
That’s what I’m currently doing. I’m playing for the boulder to roll left and create the right amount of damage. I actually got a 1-birder, but it only scored 110k.
@TruckDriver, Hey, I’ve been doing the same thing, but, my boulder’s more like like a rolling pebble and hardly causes any damage, my best 1-Birder was a pitiful 95k.
For some unbeknownst reason, these past 3 episodes have been more like nightmares to me, no matter what I do, she just won’t go past Warp 1.
@werewolf69, this one took a whole lot of repeats to get a fairly decent score. There’s lots of luck involved with this one, so keep on pluggin’ is all I can say.
@TruckDriver, Yes, I think I just caught a mini lucky break, now I’ll try for a Maxi.
Just got my umpteenth 1-Birder and it gives me the same identical score as I already have, I feel like eviscerating something Finnish.
@werewolf69 Hey Wolfie, take a look at my strat (on page 2) It isn’t much different than others, but maybe you will pick up something slightly different to try. I’ve gotten several good scores with it.
One long, high shot to top right piggie elf. Breaks boulders free to roll down and clear remainder.
3 Stars – 112,110
just tried this didn’t pop the present or destroy quite enough, slightly improving to 106k with one bird. Ta, @Westmiller :)
got it this time. popped present and a few of the lower left snowballs did a bit of damage on the debris for me. Hit the far-right piggir ef anf pick up the long stone. If the boulder doesn’t have enough momentum to break the snow holding it, dropping the long stone will get that out of the way.
Slightly better score with first Pink Bubble Bird to just above triple boulders at right cliff [click] as it hits. This will release boulders and damage most (or all) of the lower structure. Second Pink Bird to middle of boulder circle at far left [click] as it hits.
3 Stars – 115,600
This is a very fragile structure, so any shot that releases the stone boulder on the cliff will clear the pigs and score 3 stars. If not, the second bird will cause enough destruction to score the win.
3 Stars – 113,740
Same strat. 116,330 but with with 3 birds
Tried this way first, but very little destruction with 1-bird, only 114030..need to try something else
hmmm…
first try was a one-birder 110k
second tray was a one-birder 110k
do I like the shot? not at all…
high arc to the snowballs, everything rolls down and crashed..
BUT…present was still there and a lot of debris … NO, I don’t like that
106k is 3 stars.
Just fling at the snowballs up top near the large round stone. Hit the bubble skill immediately after hitting and it should take out the whole level with about 110k. Two birds will yield 115k.
Further… Hitting the top and not killing everyone, then firing close behind the pile of snowballs at the left to lift some debris netted 123,820k. I’m thinking this could go over 130k without much more effort.
It’s all about where you arc Stella and how much destruction you get when the snowballs and stone fall on the lower structure. I’ve gone from 110 to 117k so far on 1-birders.
119,060. PB to bottom left of round snow blocks taking out the little ‘holding’ block at the bottom, causing most of the blocks to fall left. 2nd PB in v shape of stone and wooden planks , picking up stone plank and dropping it on the 2 snow blocks on the top right causing all the stuff up there (except the present) to come crashing down.
I complete and three stared this level in a second with one bird but so far have just very low score 112k. I sent Pink to lift wood above snow balls and let them fall to bottom structure. There wasn’t much damage as present and all wreaths stayed untouched. I am waiting to see better strategies.
High arc with first pink bird, knocking into snowballs on top of the cliff on the left, and then dropping below into the middle of the far side of the right structure, landing on the ice shelf. Bubbles take care of the piggies in the right pile while the knocked snowballs fall and the top left structure crumbles. One more pink to take care of a leftover pig and get more demolition points.
I actually got this with one bird using this strategy but it was 10k fewer points, so it may be worth tossing the second pink even if 1 bird gets all the piggies.
Flip left and right in my wording. I am left and right challenged!
117k… first shot, make the pig red hat pop and also remove the snow patch holding balls… then, whebn all pig pops, land 2nd bird to the stack of debrish to lift up as many of debris as possible. 2nd try gave me 117k
122 k with same strat but i made the snow balls lift and carry to the middle of debris with first bird
@lamia…this seems to me the most juiceful first shot…thanks
in combination with the second I described below it should be possible to get 123-125k with 2 birds
Two easy to 3* days in a row? Not what I expected! But am already 16th and way below avg and it’s not 20 mins in yet! PB to snowballs and boulder 2 nd attempt.
I also think there are to many pb levels, where are the blue splitters?
to get some extra points, watch out for the bottom right side after the demolition of the first bird…
quite often there are some stone pieces and the boulder wide open on the ground…if you send the 2nd Stella down there you can lift them and they will fly to the left and fall down on all of the wood and ice…
got 119k now with 2 birds
This is very promising. I almost immediately matched my initial score exactly (117040), but since then my efforts have been fruitless. On one tantalizing attempt, the stones lifted up perfectly and destroyed a ton of debris on the ground, but the retaining snow block on the top never broke on the first shot and there was still 5k of debris hung up on the ledge, plus 3k for the present. Given that I scored 116k that time, 124k seems like a possibility.
High arc Stella into the slanted wood plank above the right snow balls.
First bird to snowballs in front & brings down part of structure. Second far right releases snowballs and rocks to finish all off. Score 124,950. Probably higher achievable..
Place Stella under the stone with the pig red had. Try to get as many debris as possible to destroy everything on the hill too. Took about 20 tries to get everything fall down.
@ssi131 seems your 1-birder is more effective :) Congratulations
Which red hat pig? The one left or the one right on the hill?
Congrats for top score @ssi131
The left one
Congratulations on your first position. :) Same as your strat but obtained 118700. Gotta keep trying.
Thats the way forward. TFTS.
Nice idea @ssi131, slide Stella under that stone plank, if you hit the right spot she can go all the way through to where the wee pig is underneath the one with the Santa hat & she can pick up quite a lot of debris & hopefully some of it takes out the snow patch up top or at least knocks the top part so it comes down.
Zoomed out on ipad there is a large star just left of the slingshot, pull Stella back so you can see the top part of the star above the slingshot, that should put her in about the right place.
I’m not finding this to be a very high percentage shot, but when it works it’s nice.
Congrats on your score :)
This is the bad boy
125k and more to spare
Well done
I reached my goal getting above 120k on this level, thanks to you. Now I may go home happy.
This is a way better strategy. I was consistently getting 105K – 110k. With the video I was getting 110k – 116K. I can now consistently get 117K +
I am only at 123K, but I know there is way more in there.
@ssl131 — Thanks! Finally got this to work for 125090.
BTW — Does ssl mean anything to you other than your initials?
@ssi131 thank you for the strat, awesome and once you get the hang of it easy enough to repeat!
@karen68 thanks for the extra detail and yep Stella can do some nice damage if she gets in deep enough! Still working on a better score but I think this ones on the easier side compared to the last few!! Thank goodness!!
(Sorry admins, in for a penny in for a pound, might as well add everyone since I’ve already @ two peeps)
@Kathy check this strat out its really doable, Karen makes great points to detail as well! :)
yay Topscore: 128920k/2b :)
First to the front, to clear as much as possible what is not reachable from the avalanche you start with the second shot.
Second into the pile on the ground, so that it’s lifted up and destroys only the stopper snow plate at the right upper structure.
Then it’s just sitting back and relaxing, watching the level destroying itself. :)
Happy shooting!
congrats @schattiphoto
where did you aim at with the first shot?
Better than mine (even it is a 1b)
1st bird to snow pile. Scored 52. Second to pile, metal rod cleared stopper and all sled down.
Great strat Schatti!! Gave me an extra 10k ;)
133410 w/2 just like Schatti – first bird just over the snow pile so it pushes the cement piece and nestles into the front. Second bird try to target the remaining cement pieces to lift and set off the top right structure. Also had a 127+ w/3 when the top structure refused to fall on bird 2.
It’s the end of the world as we know it….and I feel… swine! ***
Here’s an overall strategy that has worked for me so far: use first bird to flatten the stick pile below, as much as possible. This helps maximize destruction by the boulder you release during second shot. FYI: those giant snow balls are not your friends. Aloha. ***Apologies to R.E.M.
Too funny @surfcow! Thanks for the laugh!
I think my iPhone is doomed… I’m always 5-10k below the scores mentioned here in the comments.
It will be a long day again, trying to get your average scores ;-)
@trishohara it’s not so bad here in below average land :). We don’t have high scores, but we do have lots of sympathy and tissues for you as you battle the evil piggies! Hopefully, you won’t stay here long.
@wanda thanks for sympathy and tissues. Those evil piggies are not so much the problem, but the structures which are so extremely solid and just don’t want to fall that easily and destroyingly as it seems they fall for everyone else.
Easy to 3 star, got it first go, just aim low arc straight through Santa Pig, into the wedge and snowball, then the boulder destroys all the pigs :)
This level provides an easy one-birder. All you have to do is shoot the Pink Bird into the snowy blocks on the right side and watch it all fall down. However, this does not yield many points, as I had 108,000.
113960. Can get either the pigs or the present. Can’t seem to hit both.
Partial self destruction. Section under central hatted pig falls to the right – usually after 15 secs, but not every time – approx 1 in 30 on my iphone. Yields between 5.5k to 10k but as seems not to enhance score I have not pursued it.
@dasa — Thanks for the report. I’ve seen it a couple of times, but as you say doesn’t seem to help much.
@mnvla2, I made a comment in the Forum on variations of the self-destruction I’ve experienced.
Oops, that’s @mvnla2 (sorry)
#1) 1st shot at the top right and everything falls and then it topples to the bottom. 109,000 score
#2) 1st shot to the top right and everything falls and then it topples to the bottom and then the second shot in the middle of what’s left at the bottom. 115,500 best score I could get
1. PB to left snowballs circle by 10 o’clock entry. Bubbles lift 6 of them.
2. PB central for debris and clearing L side. Next move can clear R side only!
3. YB to snow block at right icy rock. YB roll left and down, made some initial crash. Rock ball follow it. Wooden board hit far right present and all staff ideally slide smashing debris. This gave me 119.610.
Hard to repeat but nice alternative variant for first PB: aim junction between snowballs circle and gray plank to lift them. Score 120.180. Much more possibilities depend of occasion, precision and luck.
Love your first shot, @bird-tester! I changed my strategy to use it as my first shot. For pink 2 I used my former first shot described earlier (WB to bump the high snowballs and fall down to the ice ledge below). Upped my score by 10k and gave me 2nd high score …. For as long as it lasts LOL. Thanks!!
I appreciate this @furfeather. I fill what to do to max score. I make excellent first shoot but miss the 2nd :(. Look at my another type of first shot (lower). It’s sometimes disasterous.
Love this strategy, easiest and most repeatable way for a good score. My only tweak is to make sure the 2nd pink bird lifts up enough debris to pop the little snowpatch on the ramp to let the boulders roll down.
Thank you
Thank you @bird-tester! Increased score by 6k! Followed the first 2 steps of your strat and a piece lifted by the second bird cleared the snow block! I have no idea how the present went but currently (probably for about 5 mins) have moved back up to 20th!
I happy to. I raise my score higher than you by one position but not enough for top 20. One more observation: for 2nd variant of my shoot (corner)m next was made to left laying snowballs. That gives me a score.
For all hotheads: look at the ground. Flat abrasive part of snow prevent all construction to fall on ice! Crash some of them with concrete board and best slide greetings.
Make the first bird go just above the snowballs. The bubbles should take out all the pigs and the present. I got 111k, which gave me 3 stars!
Left structure has begun to self collapse for me twice now, unfortunately, I already had a bird in the air both times, so I could not modify my shot to take advantage of it.
Well i now got 125k but should i enter it now, or should i wait till challenge?
I’m going to move a forum topic here for just a sec:
Don’t you just hate it when you’re watching really good destruction going on down in the pit and waiting for the score to rack up – and the screen moves left to the slingshot! You move it back and see that the far right piggie is still sitting there laughing at you.
Yup. That freaks me out a LOT! And not to say in star wars, when darth vader laugh… Arrgh i want to kill the pigs even more then
One bird. Shot Stella to bottom snowballs, kind of slightly to the right of the top ball. This was after a LOT of resets today. This time, Stella lifted nearly the entire stack and dropped it over to the right taking out the bottom. Then a surprise as Stella was still floating bubbles and managed to drop one on the ledge snow strip sending the top stack down to the left – she also took out the red present on the top ledge! Was 108+ then 3 birds (30k more). Before this score, I had been stuck at 107k for most of the morning. Oh Happy Day! In honor of the last day of the Mayan Calendar too! I found a cartoon from 12/21/2009 that shows two Mayans with dialog being: 1st Mayan, holding the carved Mayan Calendar wheel: “I only had room to go up to 2012!” then the Mayan Chief says “Ha! That’ll freak somebody out someday”! And the Calendar goes on for all! Happy December 21st!
Yikes! I hate math! I used two birds….sorry. 108k plus remaining 2 gave me 128,520k. 1st Stella took out most all the left bottom. Used 2nd Stella to lift top of right bottom side – that is where she lifted up and also dropped debris on that snow ledge and took out the top too. I wish we could edit our posts sometimes but glad we can reply to our own post to add corrections.
congrats on that great score GypsyBird! fyi, to clarify, the carved calender was created by the Aztecs, not the Mayans. (common confusion) the cycle begins again.
That is probably quite true @mars805,but it still seems to be called the Maya(n) Calendar anyway – I have a friend who has a replica hanging in the office (tagged as Maya). We always tend to run together items of historical significance it seems. Yes, I did just find a photo of the Aztec Calendar and by gosh it is round and of stone. The Maya people were around a very long time before the Aztecs in the same general geo area. Highly likely that the Aztecs found the Maya calendar and used it to guide their carving of the round stone calendar. Now I have an OCD urge to go re-study that part of history again after all these years out of school. LOL
