Angry Birds Seasons Winter Wonderham Level 1-22 Walkthrough

Angry Birds Seasons Winter Wonderham level 1-22 was first available on Saturday, December 22nd, 2012. Fling one Blue bird just under the bell on the left side. There’s a small slab of wood that falls across the next desired trajectory, but occasionally it will fall out of the way. Fire the next Blue bird slightly higher than the first, pushing the stone plank into the TNT and causing a domino-effect of explosions. If absolutely necessary, using one more Blue bird will put you close to the 3-star threshold. The score in the video below is 120,210.

Bonus! Our Winter Wonderham level 1-22 Mighty Eagle walkthrough is live as well!

Think the recent levels seem to be easier than some of the stinkers at the start. I used split high overhead with one bouncing off the snow blocks on the far right to roll down & explode the dynamite, taking out most of the right hand side, then used other 2 blue birds to clean up the left hand side = 111200. No high score but gets the 3* job done!

@rob48: which ice shard do you mean?

After the first shot, one of the ice walls (along with a small wood piece) will fall to an angle in front of where you want the second shot to go. If it slides off, as in the video, all the better. Otherwise, you want to aim at the tip of the ice (wall) shard, splitting just before you hit it. This will almost always destroy the support structure and explode the TNT.

Blue Bird high to split above snow triangle in center structure, releasing stone blocks to blow TNT.

Next was the part about level ‘averages’ over the 3* threshold. It raised the average by a LOT when people don’t enter their score when they first hit at least the 3 star minimum and wait until they get a really high score before they enter it. Some of us are ‘content’ when we can just get above average – a relief on some of the more difficult levels. @GypsyBird @AMSlimfordy — Maybe the definitions of “pixel” and “click” should be added to the Glossary? They are used pretty much interchangeably in PATS. Anyway here are my definitions:
PAT = Precision Aiming Technique — First used by Rdnzlrips82 = Cyborgripsy. This is a strat described in great detail in terms of how each bird is aimed to achieve a high score, and usually involves clicks and/or pixels.
pixel is technically the smallest resolvable spot on your screen. For instance, an iPad screen may have ~1000 x 700 pixels. When used in a PAT, you aren’t actually expected to count pixels. So if a strat says “pull back (exactly) horizontal and then lower by 3 pixels or clicks, what it means is pull back exactly horizontal as defined by the minimum width of the sling straps. Then lower very slowly until you can see 3 small steps in the sling. PATs are somewhat device dependent, so you may have to adjust your aim. Ripsy plays on an Android, BTW.
click — see pixel

I actually go a little further than GypsyBird in terms of averages: I think it helps to post even one or 2* scores. Keeping the averages low helps those compulsive addicts like me spend less time getting above average, and since some of us are willing to stop as soon as we get above average, the average stays lower.
I don’t post every score when I get it. I tend to go through a new episode relatively quickly. If it isn’t easy for me to get 2 or 3*, I leave and go to next level. When I have completed entire episode, I post all my scores, including the 1*. This sometimes has the amusing effect of getting top score with 1*!

@crash – Thanks! That worked great (after a number of shots of course) and I managed to up my score with your idea.

Interesting that the top two (or more?) scores were removed. I thought the old top score of 131k looked extremely fishy, but someone must have done some pretty good sleuthing to determine that the 128k scores were fake as well.

@austinrhl – I’m no expert, but to my knowledge, I know that a few of the scores were removed due to being posted before the level was released ;)

@leggy, I saw those scores before the level opened, and they were 123k, so that wasn’t the issue.

My score of 131k may look fishy, and no doubt I had some undeserved luck, but it is a true score, anyway. I used the one-bird method initially suggested by @bernersenn. I usually dont enter scores here, as (a) they are mostly mediocre and (b) it is quite time-consuming using an iPad, but this time I did an exemption, for an obvious reason :)

I didn’t have time to scroll through all the above.

1st shot, slightly above horizontal immediate split. Takes out front. Highest score was when tallest part rotated to left and fell over debris.
Shot two to explode TNT.
Lucky break and this could be a one birder.

Okay now that I have time let me expand what happens. If you go low with the first shot you have no chance to get the upper wooden center to fall because the ice and that pesky small wooden plank get in the way. What is a flinger to do?
Get rid of said obstacle. *SLIGHT* upward trajectory and split immediately on release. Top blue to ice square, middle blue below wooden square and lower blue to snow in front. What you would ideally like to see is a shift backwards into the wooden section and clearing everything off of the snow block shelf in front of it. Wait a bit before shot two to see if the wooden section is going to pivot. If not go low into the tnt.
Otherwise, Second shot over the top of the TNT and through the ice plank above it or a split shot taking out the snow block holding up the two stones and to the TNT at the same time. I consistently get two bird score in the lower 120k’s

I send the blues with a high lob, landing them at the snow triangle at the top. All came down and the TNT was detonated. The left side collapsed and all piggies where gone. This one birdie gave me 125040 .

Like the video from @e-star I actually got all the pigs with the first bird but tossed a second to take out the rest of the debris on the left and get one package which hadn’t been broken.
