Angry Birds Seasons Summer Pignic Coming Soon

Rovio updated the image on their Angry Birds Facebook page today. Big deal right? Well, this time it provides yet another clue into what we should expect to see in the next Angry Birds Seasons update, which is due out soon. It’s no secret that the next update would be themed for Summer, but it now has an official name: Angry Birds Seasons Summer Pignic. Awesome! We don’t have many more details at this point in time, but we will definitely post them as we do.

Updated 6/21/2011! The official Summer Pignic trailer is out now.

Where ia angry birds fourth of July?

Hopefully in the next few weeks, though it’s not a 4th of July theme, rather a summer theme.

I doubt there would be a fourth of July edition. Angry Birds isn’t made in the USA and it has a world-wide market. A general Summer theme makes more sense than picking one country’s special day.

Unless Rovio chose to celebrate a Finnish holiday, which I was actually hoping for, such as Juhannus. But you’re absolutely right.

    What is todays update for?

The v1.2.1 update for Rio froze the background on Carnival Upheaval. Several users complained the motion made them nauseous, so now that is gone.

    By bigblueblack.ezzo

Maybe that the made the name (Summer Pignic) for all celebrations.
    Is that right?
Also, Did anyone check twitter for the date?
I know that ABN isn’t Rovio or affilated with Rovio , I just ask anyone or the Admins in ABN.

We don’t have a date at all, actually the only release that had a specific date, that I can remember right now, was the first installment of Rio. I think the last I heard about the next Seasons update was late June or early July. And yes I think they chose Summer Pignic to be a little sensitive towards multiple countries summer celebrations.

THX FujiToast for the reply; and thank for both BirdLeader, FujiToast, and AMslimfordy for all the ABN site , I really love you

Similar to the 3-5 update in the recent AB release, any thoughts on whether this update will address the Santa hat issue?

Santa hat issue was released several updates ago?

Sorry. I meant the discrepancies of the scores for those who downloaded after the ‘fix’.

I think that will remain as-is.

I would like to see it fixed also. I think it could happen considering a level from the original AB was changed.

Great update! I have completed all levels with *** stars, all of them with one bird. Plus the 45 golden eggs and golden pineapples.
    What is coming next?

Summer Pignic appears to be the next update that will contain new levels.

You completed all the levels using 1 bird?

    By Dan

Do you mean the mighty eagle?

seasons update…i don’t even have mine and dine yet. Any ideas when symbian users will get mine and dine?

As far as we know, it was submitted to Ovi at the same time as every other platform.

Does anybody know how many levels will be included?

Rank: Sling God with 32110 points
    By AMslimfordy (@amslimfordy)

We can make a guess: 15 levels +3 levels by clicking Twitter or Facebook. Not sure how many Golden Eggs, but at least two (one to find and one for getting all 3-starred)

I understand why it couldn’t be fourth of july themed, but I’m hoping for some fireworks in some of these levels!

There may be some subtle references to that. I would hope so.
