My final strategy was to fire the first bird over the helicopter and trigger just before hitting the green pig trapped in the ice. If you get this right, the string will break and swing the other two pigs into the ice block triggering a collapse taking out everything except the pig in the helicopter.

Second small blue is then launched in the same way as first blue is in the video, so bottom of three takes out the helicopter and top two carry on over into the ice. When you get this perfect it should trigger an ice slide to ramp up your score. You can always use first yellow to,hit the ice blocks if this doesn’t happen as an ice slide is usually more than the 10k points it costs.

Just over 181,000 with this method.

Yes I hit on the same method. Currently top score, but not for long I expect!

Actually my second bird technique is a bit different. Aim it a bit higher, and split above the helicopter. Then the lower of the three blues just clips the tail of the helicopter and makes it fall, but all three birds continue into the ice, making a better chance of triggering the slide.

I see my problem was that I was letting the left blue roll down the ice and cut through the pig’s rope while it was swinging. Now I just have to get all the elements to come together…

Used @greybrow53 ‘s basic method but used @rob48 ‘s variation for the second shot, so thanks both. 192610k so far. One observation. I think the angle of the first shot is crucial, as it seems like 2 things need to happen:-

1 – the swinging rope sets off the collapse of the ice underhanging the rock, and
2 – destruction of the front four square ice blocks on the slope, leaving a “staircase’ effect of the remaining blocks.

If the arc is too low (barely over the helicopter rotor for example), the four ice blocks won’t all be destroyed, and you can’t then get a decent landslide with shot two. If it’s too high, the rope will not swing to bring down the underhang.
For both results, I split a fraction before hitting the pig on the slope, as greybrow53 described. If either of the above don’t happen, I reset.

Thanks @greybrow53 for posting. Worked great especially with the first bird in getting the big stone to fall. I had the helicopter stay together and fall to the right side. The pig bottom right was the challenge to get with flying debris.

I always seem to think I have the scoring maxed out, and then I come here and find that I’m not even up to the average score. It’s maddening at first, but of course I’m glad to find out that there’s an even better method than mine. Thanks everyone!

I think there is potential for a one-birder here, if you aim high and split immediately. But so far although I have had all the elements work individually they haven’t all come together!

Anyone else having crashes on this level? Twice now during play it has progressed really slowly like freeze-frame on a video, then freezes on restart, requiring relaunch of Seasons. Not a big deal, just curious.

I have had that happen on several levels in this episode. It seems to happen when I lose internet connection while playing, eg if I am on the train and pass through an area with no phone service.

Ah OK @rob48, that’s probably it. Where I live we have regular power cuts and also unreliable internet connection, and when I lose internet, Seasons won’t even launch. I thought that AB games were stand alone once they were purchased and installed, but obviously not.
