@bikkit @waimea – if you’re doing the no-look challenge, I completed the whole ep before the walkthroughs were up and have not gone back to improve as of yet, or even seen the videos. I was working on thresholds. Fling on gnarly dudes!

Do you keep track of any of the 2* scores? I have pretty tight margins on some, but some my highest 2* is 10K lower than my lowest 3*, and it is harder than people think to target a low score on purpose 8*)

Got really lucky this time. First shot took out most of the left side and freed Hal from his cage. I intended to use Matilda to set up Teerence to free BB. Instead she took out BB’s cage with the egg and her body crashed into the bag of marshmallows. They fell into the pot and the explosion took out everything remaining for a score fo 212k plus 40000 bonus.

I was coming onto this page to whine, then changed my mind and tried one more time. Again the whine works in mysterious ways.

I did it a different way. First two shots lobbed just over the first tower. First shot you can let self actuate. Second shot depends on what happened on the first shot. Sometimes the tower will collapse on the first shot. (not often) Sometimes you can get the yellow caged bird on the first shot. Sometimes it works to activate the second bird about halfway down the tower.

Ty @stocktoad! Just like for @curite the key to my 264k was the downfall of the tower after first shot. It just slowly went right without breaking up and almost demolished the center section. There was potential for even higher score but I had to sacrifice BB on the remains of the tower to free the caged Red.

Thanks for posting your strategy @stocktoad. The first bird I did the same but the second laid the egg one the left side of first tower. Some of it fell right and left and obtained all the birds. Used all four birds for the end score. Was now able to obtain the higher scores but happy it was above average.

You can fire the black bird into the bottom of the stone tower. He often gives more than the 10k bonus. Many of these levels seem to time out wuick, so aim fast.

Having a problem a few times after the high arc 1st bird taking out the tower.
On the 2nd shot Matilda hits something invisible where the tnt was on the tower. Really annoying when the 1st shot does a lot of ground damage

This level shows some signs of self destruct. Stone wall collapses after a few seconds…maybe one out of ten.

I too noticed the partial self-destruct every once in a while. It didn’t factor into my current score of 253K, though.
