195k with 1 bird, plenty of room for improvement.

Aim bubbles about 60 degrees up through the chain. expand right before he hits the vertical stone piece. The upper metal square will be launched towards the detonator, while the lower one will fall down, hopefully all the way to the bottom.
If the latter doesn’t do so, or if you don’t beat your highscore, aim terence at a similar trajectory so he knocks some blocks into the lava, then falls left through the middle and lower levels.

204k with 2 birds upon revisit.
1st bird Like described above, the right square hits the detonator and the left square has to fall all the way down.
2nd bird then a little higher than horizontal so he just hits the yellow/black block under the hollow stone. So your trajectory should be where the legs of the marble statue used to be. The hollow stone and the metal square topple left along with terence, causing massive damage below.

Thanks @angrychicken ! I had around 195000 when I came here to load my score. Read your wonderful explanation and immediately hit 207930. Tried for an hour to get better then had a good series and scored 205680. Decided it was time for a thank you to you and a move onto life.

Awesome score @the-wonderbird. Still struggling here to get into top 50! Could you please help out by elaborating your strat – where did you send each of the four birds to clear the level for example. I’m getting fairly good scores with 2 birds but often the level times out before I can do anything decent with 3 & 4. Thanks!

First bird about 60 degrees to land just in front of the vertical stone shelf. Inflate manually just before hitting the vertical stone shelf.
Second bird almost straight ahead, just over the metal piece which cannot be destroyed.
I used the yellow bird to fly through all the remaining chains to collect some points on the far right side.
Bomb bird to the bottom destroying almost everything.

@meanguy, just letting you know that puppy scores are verified by @karen68, before updating the ABN Challenge Underdogs spreadsheet. Also, it is not unusual for the players to mention placing their proof of score in their profile album, since many do not know how to add the URL to the strategy comments.

Thank you both for answering my concerns. As I stated, I thought something might have changed. I understand that new, or newer, members of ABN might not know how to add a pic to their post ( I learned how thanks to @kelani years ago). I just assumed that a player with the rank of Avian Overlord would be well versed in the proper way to post for a puppy.
I meant no disrespect to anyone. I just want the Nest to be equal ground for everybody.

Had to do the same, use all the birds! Yes the first as AC described but changed with the second and went low into the bottom structure. Not a high score but above average and that is happy land!

Haven’t managed to get above average yet but this level seems to follow the not too bad, very difficult pattern. It’s going to take some work getting another 12K or so.

My scores are all over the place using 1,2,3, and 4 birds. Still not above average but getting there. It all comes down to how much destruction you get with that first bird. I find Chuck mostly useless when needing 4 birds.
