- Bonus! Our On Finn Ice level 1-14 Mighty Eagle walkthrough is live as well!
Pretty much identical to the video except my furthest away parachute pig popped after the first bird
More importantly….ITS MY BIRTHDAY….wish me well for a high score
Happy BIRDday @fatboyslick !!!
@fatboyslick happy birthday. Enjoy your day – happy flinging.
happy birthday @fatboyslick!
Funk soul birdie, check it out now! It’s @fatboyslick‘s birthday! Good luck.
Happy Birthday @fatboyslick !! Best wishes for a great day and a high score trophy that will last ye long!
Happy Birthday @fatboyslick !!! Here’s wishing you well for a great One Birdie Score…just don’t send the Sheriff my way too soon, Tee Hee ;-)))
HaPpY BiRtHdAY @fatboyslick! Enjoy your special flinging day!
Happy birthday!! We share the same birthday. 53 years young yesterday. :-)
Scores beyond 120k require a lucky One Birder.
I fling the first bird slightly steeper as in the video walktrough and activate her about under the left side of the rotor bar. Sometimes debris drops on the cage of skis and releases it very rarely.
Here is a screenshot: ABS On Finn Ice 1-14 125k
Thanks for the screen shot @wrm39. When you say rarely, you weren’t kidding!
I must have thrown the rotor over 30 times without success. (Does that count as a whine?!)
Happy BirdDay @fatboyslick!
@wrm39 congrats on the top score and ty for the screenshot, where exactly did you activate Stella bubbles? I notice which i think is the key in your screenshot there are no dots showing where the bubble went up. I’ve come close to doing that but always have a dot or 2 tracing the path of activation ?
Swinging back thru OFI and laughing at the old me – 30, 100? Try 1000 without a successful 1-birder! (There – now I’ve officially whined!)
And the power of the whine for 5k!
30? I’m probably up to a 100. Still no luck…
What happens quite often is that the left-side rotor is lifted, drops on the right-side rotor, and drops to the right. So try lifting the left-side rotor.
Had no luck yet with the one-birders but that shouldn’t take long now.
Did the same and managed to get a one bird solution. I activated the bird under the metal bar under the floor. The rope on the right side destroyed the snow so the boxed bird would fall.
It’s funny how certain things don’t add up the same on different levels. Take level 6 for example. The snowballs on the left hand side are worth 10-12k. On this level the snowballs are basically worth nothing. (Maybe 5k) and there are way more of them.
So, @wrm39, how did you get the 1 bird? I cannot get that ski pig to die, and need to use the second Matilda to clean up the rest of the level.
As a follow up, this is what I am always left with. It’s pretty annoying…

@bowserm Like I said, basically with the first shot of the video walkthrough. And many, many attempts. So far I had only two One Birder, one for 125k and one for 120k.
@bowserm I’ve attached a screenshot to my original post above.
Same 2 shots as video. Been at this for over an hour!! I just couldn’t get the birds to destroy/pick up!! Finally got 116k. Done with this level!!
Haven’t been able to open today’s (Dec. 14th) game. Playing on an i pad. Anyone else having a problem? The previous 13 all opened immediately.
@gloria did your Ipad had a internet connection? It is neccessary to get the new game opened.
Not every one-birder gives good results: Seasons Finn Ice #14
I also sent Stella similar to the video but slightly steeper. I play on iPad in full view…I send her up about a “bird’s width” from the odd looking cloud thing in the background, then as she reaches her peak and starts to curve, I tap her to bubble up on the left side of the little supporting ski, where the tiny left vertical piece of the ski is. Here’s a screenshot of the trajectory:

You want her to pick up the bottom part of that side with out damaging the left propeller so it will stay intact as she tosses it over to hit on top of the right one.
On the two occasions I was able to get decent one birdies…both times the left propeller bounces off the right one then tumbles down to get the top right parachute pig…meanwhile the right side propeller breaks, and it was the falling rope with the pigs and skis that knocked into the “ski-cube” pig for the one birdies :-)
More often though the falling propeller and debris ends up hitting that stubborn cube on top or on the right side, which doesn’t ever dislodge it…even with a direct hit from a propeller, hahaha. I can’t even count the times that one pig remained laughing at me with a propeller or ski sitting on top of it…even after clearing all the snow away on the right side!
You definitely need falling debris to hit it from the left and dislodge the snow from underneath of it! It’s very tricky to get it all to fall just right ;-)
Thanks for the well detailed strat @lesleyg :)
These levels are really getting tiresome with seemingly only one strat and near impossible being based on luck.
Congrats on your one birdie and great score. That pig in the ice block just won’t break for me:( please send some ‘L’ factor my way lol ;)
Wahooo !!! Finally Patience and Persistence and uhmm the other P paid off !! Totally unexpected just Rinse and Repeat. I did just as @lesleyg and @wrm39 describe for 100’s of flings, finally a piece of debris (a small cement plank i think) hit that laughing piece of bacon in the box and Yay!! Outta here now lol..Good luck to all
One birder with lots of damage. Threw as high as I could and activated just under the gray skids on the left side of the chopper. Took lots of tries and this was my first one birder. I posted a screen shot in my album and posted a link. https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/hoy49/album/picture/12083/ Should be enough for a puppy. @admins
Well done @hoy49 – unfortunately there are no puppies in the Advent Challenge Series.
I am not sure if anyone else has noticed, but the rope attached falls on its own destroying the snow below it. Maybe @mvnla2 needs to make note of this.
@bowserm, would you please post this in the forum page, Self-Destroying and Unstable Levels and explain how long it took after opening the level, how many resets before it happened, and how many points did you get before launching the first Stella. Thank you!
cc: @mvnla2
Thanks. I didn’t realize there was more information needed. I’ll have to go back and make notes
@bowserm — Thanks! Don’t think anyone has mentioned this yet. Any additional info you can provide would be useful
@sweetp — I don’t think I got an e-mail with your message? Thanks for asking for the data.
@bowserm — Any additional info would be really useful. I just did 50 restarts and didn’t see the rope fall. I play on iPad IOS 7, and waited a few seconds between restarts, which would be enough time for you to aim the first bird rather slowly. Do you have any rough estimate of how long after restart this happened? What device and operating system are you playing on? Has it happened more than once?
Has anyone else seen the rope fall on this level? If so, please provide your best estimate of the data.
@bowserm — Did you see this more than once? If only once, how many times do you estimate you played this level? What is your best guess as the amount of time after reset, a few sec, a few minutes? About how many points?
118010 2-birder on iPad after being stuck on 117370. It’s not a great score, but for now it’s Top 50; it certainly won’t be Top 50 by the end of the Challenge.
I managed to launch Stella higher than I think I’d ever managed, but I had to zoom all the way out so that I could pull the sling far enough. I’m sure that’s just me, but if you’re having trouble getting enough height try zooming all the way out & loosening your “grip,” by that I mean the lightest touch possible.
For me, the hardest level so far…
This is for sure a tough level to one bird. It took innumerable tries for me. Generally after I get a good score on a level, I fling at least a few more birds to see if I can do better. Not on this one. I’m done.
If there was ever a level I actually screamed hallelujah!! out loud… this was one of them! It took me soooo many tries to get that one birdie, if all you lovely Nesters hadn’t told me it could be done, I never would have believed it was true, that’s how long it took me on this level. Days and days on end flinging Stella up in the air and hoping the AB spirits would be kind. Finally they did and I got a score of 123,900.
Here is my my video.
After endless tries the desired one-birder finally happened, just like the @e-star video. It’s now a while since Oct 2016 when the highcores was achieved but better late than never….

It took quite a few tries but I went from 117K with 2 birds to my current score with one. It really is all about luck and this was my only one-bird clear.
