Our strategy for Mooncake Festival level 2-6 is to loft the White bird over the first structure and bomb in the small gap between them. If the structure does not collapse, use the next White bird in the same way. Fire the Black bird through the paper art in the top-left so the explosion will push the whole structure to the right. If necessary, use Big Brother to push debris onto the small pig in the middle. The score in the video below is 123,460.

Ok, probably just me (due to the low number of comments:)), but I was so frustrated trying to get 3 stars for this one. Here is my alternate method- same general score – in case anyone else is feeling like their head is hitting those stone walls.
First white bird-pretty much same as video. Second white bird- steeper angle- to come close to the right side of the structure closest to platform. Drop bomb, should take out most of the right side of this one. High arc for third bird- should drop and settle pretty deep into remaining structure- and then detonate. Send fourth bird all the way over to the remaining building on the right. Score was 120410 for 3 stars. Nothing spectacular, but I finally got three stars, so I am happy.

126,590. I tried a different method and I found it a lot easier. Take the first bird and shoot it at the top left corner of the first building. Then drop the second bird as shown in the video. Then shoot the second bomb at the first building and try and get it in the middles. Take the last bird and knock over the farthest building. Hope this helps!

Did the same thing (only bird 1 and 2 switched) and got 128380. I tried many ways and also found this to be the easiest. I got 128380 this way.

Used the same method during my revisit. I tried many other aims, but this has proven to be the best way to go. I upped my score with 5k and got a score of 133710 this time.

Thank you @estar for the video. Did basically a similar concept with a few changes:
1. White Bird’s egg switched to hit the left structure’s side corner first.
2. White Bird to the gap between the two structure.
3. Bomb Bird flies horizontal into the left side’s gap instead of a high arc.
4. Big Brother takes out the remaining item on the right side.

Zoomed in for this level and used the background items around the sling for all the birds:
1. Bottom of the WB with a small red space at the bottom of the red flower
2. Front of the WB with about a sling space from the sling.
3. Bottom of the Bomb Bird with the yellow inside the red flower
4. Bottom of BB with a small red space at the bottom of the red flower
Minor adjustments in spacing with these background items may be needed to obtain the correct angle of flight.
Started at 125,720 and kept flinging for a while. This level did provide a good challenge for a few weeks.

Thank you @e-star for the great video & @wrw01 for the added tips.
I sent the 1st bird to the gap & the 2nd to the front left corner, I don’t know if it really makes a difference in the end. Score can vary a lot after the 1st 2 shots, I’ve had up to 24k, with the right structure mainly intact.
For the 3rd I used wrw01’s straight shot into the left structure instead of the high lob, it will hit & drop straight down to detonate low in the middle of the left side. I had 97k after this shot on my 144k run.
Then it’s all about finding the sweet spot for Terence with the last shot so he hits & continues on through the right side. I’ve been aiming around the junction of the vertical stone block & the horizontal stone plank on top, the one the wee piggie sits on – very similar to E-star’s vid.

I got my highest score (nothing great, but okay) by using the first two white birds on the upper left corner of the first structure, inflicting anywhere from a little to a lot of damage. Then the black bird into the middle of the structure to try to destroy as much of it as possible, and of course all of the pigs in it, and then use big red to take out the right structure. No tricky shots, just straight-forward brute force.

I used the white birds to chip,away at the left corner of the first structure, hitting the lantern for the points. I finished it off with the next white bird and then nestled the BlackBombBird deep into the stone pillars to bring it down. Big Brother planted at the lowest wooden support demolished the second building. I won it with 115,830 then went back and repeated the strategy for 130,710

I’ve employed a different approach altogether.
1) Launch your White Bird at the lower left corner of the first structure and lay your egg just before making contact, it’ll take out a section of the left pillar.
2) Launch your second White Bird at the same location and repeat above instructions, that’ll eliminate the left pillar as well as the roof which will tumble to the left and fall on the bridge.
3) Lob your Black Bird so it falls on top of and penetrate the exposed horizontal cement plank of the first structure, it’ll fall below and obliterate the structure and all pigs residing there.
4) Launch Big Brother at a medium to medium high arc towards the center of the last structure, if everything plays out correctly you’ll see your score soar to new heights. Sorry guys, no bonus points here. This is a repeatable strategy and will work most of the time.

I’ve tried hundreds of times to get the eagle feather for this level & the closest I’ve gotten is 98%. I have tried heaps of different ways & its driving me crazy, its my last feather for the Mooncake Festival :(

I just scored 149,130 points using the video of @e-star,plus strategies from @wrw01 & @karen68. The final shot,with the big red bird,proved to be the most difficult and the most bizarre. After trying to execute the shot like @karen68 recommended,and not being successful, I tried going higher, then lower. For my high score I aimed for the lower horizontal concrete plank in the far right tower. Big red hit the horizontal bar and bounced backwards into some of the debris from the first two shots. In my screen shot,behind the score,you can see that there isn’t much left,except for that bunny-like thing.

Wow @meanguy, what an absolutely tremendous score! I tried a variety of strategies as you posted, but couldn’t even manage 130k :-( when switching from my Android phone to my iPad. I did at least manage to improve from my 122k using @e-star, so all was not lost. Congrats on your puppy

@justpast40– Thank you. I was totally surprised when I got this score. I was stuck at 140,070 for most of the Challenge,then a weird bounce almost made me reset. Instead,I decided to see what would happen.
By the way,I got my high score on my android-based tablet. On my PC,the best I could get was a little over 131,000. Thanks again.

@meanguy, I don’t know about you, but I’ve always believed there were differences between platforms & devices. Perhaps I should have stuck to my Android phone.

Just a few weeks ago, about 30 min before Challenge ended, after reading a post from the only puppy awardee about difficulty with debris points on iPhone & iPad, I switched back to my Android phone & managed almost 600 points which was enough to put me back in The Top 50. I’d been playing all day on my iPad & just couldn’t get the debris points I needed.

Until just recently, I’d been switching back & forth between both, but because it’s a Motorola (phone) running Jellybean & I’m unable to backup any game progress (an entirely different subject,) I’ve been trying to only use my iPad.

@justpast40– I’ve been playing AB for a little over two years,mostly on my android-based Toshiba Thrive tablet (running ICS,the upgrade after Jellybean). I also have an old Dell PC,still running Windows XP. All the AB games work on the tablet just fine,though occasionally it has strange effects on some levels. (I’ve reported a few weird glitches caused by ICS to @mvnla2) On the Dell, I’ve never been able to get ABSpace to work. Last years after trading several emails with Rovio about Space not working,even they gave up and offered to give me back the money I paid for the game.
When playing the Challenge I usually try the level on both devices to see where it works better. I’ve read posts from Amslimfordy stating he didn’t believe there was much difference in the games on various platforms,but I’ve also read a lot of posts from players complaining about the differences.
The only thing can say is give it your best effort no matter what you play on! Happy flinging !!

P.S. Playing today’s Challenge I could not improve my previous score at all.

150690 with 4 birds.

I have been using the strategy shown in @e-star video.

A little twist though: the second bird between the two towers is just used to soften the stone block on top of the horizontal plank, without toppling anything. It’s done to ease the way for Terence.
Here is what it should look.

Anyway, I didn’t had the time to screenshot the final result. The level ended too quickly.
