First shot like the video, 2nd shoot through the burger sign, orange bird through the remaining pig and detonating to take out sand and debris. 80890

@dmsral Thanks for the burger sign tip. Red went through that and continued on to take out right side trees. Take out as much sand as you can with bird three!

First burd high arc, try to activate late, going thru burger, although that part isnt critical. You might even get the pig to the left of.the hammock. I think destroying as much of.the left hammock palm tree as possible is the key

Second bird.thru as much of.the remaining sign as possible and into the right hammock palm tree…. if you.ve only killed the hammock pig you want about 29k after this shot

Third shot, the widow maker. I think those plam tree leaves are fat points so slice thru as many as you.can on the leftmost palm. Ignite orange bird while in the sand below the table…. after he blimps out, but before he actually damages much flying away, you want about.46k minimun…. and maybe you even have 50k plus. Need a bit of a lucky deflation path by orange too.

I didnt get any bonus point for a floating gift. I.ve broken 90k 4 or 5 times with this method, I will try and post some screenshots tomorrow if I am still #1

BTW: I too thought those gifts added bonus points like they do in Rio, so I restarted when encountering one. But as @karen68 pointed out to me they don’t thankfully. They cover a pig worth 5k that’s there anyway, gift or not.

Thank you @tmax, was using the same two first shots but always having troubles with the orange bird and WHEN to inflate. “Under the table” is actually a very good tip ! My score is not as high as yours but i won 2K ;-)

Managed 87k with four birds so must assume higher scores possible. If there’s lots of sand I just keep flinging.

100250 with 3 birds.

As pointed by @crash the key to high scores is the tree leaves.

So the goal for each bird is to get them.
First Chuck through the burger and hitting the tree where all the leaves are joining. Here is the trajectory and result for 23k.

Then Red through the remaining of the sign and into the rightmost three. Up to 32k is possible here.
This is the trajectory and a not so good result.

Then Bubbles through the tip of the tree (where the leaves are joining to get them all). It should finish its course below the table or slightly to its left. Hope for the best here.

@asher thanks for the detailed description of @tmax‘s strategy. However whenever I try to view your screenshots, all I see is a blank space where the picture should appear. I have waited up to 3 minutes for the entire page to load, but to no avail. It would be a huge help if you could upload your screenshots to your Nest album, and I won’t feel like tossing my tablet out the window in frustration because I can’t get close to the average score.

I guess I’m also invoking the powah of the whinneee here!
