Just like the video for my top score of 211k. My first shot found a sweet spot and went to the far right toppling the pole. That gave the extra point. Only time I ever done that.

I used all three, same 1st as video, matilda drop egg on bus, clear up remaining pig with red (213k)

I used just one bird….shooting Big Red almost horizontally like the first shot in the video. I had no clue that this would yield a top score until I entered it since I don’t check the leaderboard until I enter my score. I was pleasantly surprised when the feathers settled this time!

The only “L word” I could come up with after attempting this level several dozen times was “loopy.” As in, “I felt as loopy as that weird dude at Starbucks who acts like he’s been huffing ski wax fumes all morning.” Infinitely loopy, @redzym – Aloha.

Never had a one birdie but got my 215,070k with all 3. 1st bird straight ahead as in vid but I got right through to the sand under the telegraph pole. 2nd high lob over “island” to drop on remains of the bus. 3rd to the sand under floating “island”

223760/3 for current top score. 1st as in video, low to the base of the third lower pig so as to make it slice through to the far right. a good score after is 155k+. 2nd high arc to the far right, just over pig in the middle, bombing low on remnants. a good score after is 175k+. 3rd straight just below top-middle structure. 115k+ scores every 5-10 minutes. in the case of this score had 179k after the 2nd. 5k more should be doable. (best played zoomed out, otherwise it’s impossible to adapt the 2nd to the situation.)

In fact I can’t fathom how it is possible for Matilda to go over the pig in the middle. maybe one of these level change or I am seriously missing something…

So I had to find another way.

First Terence as described by others. Here is a 165k result.

Then Matilda to finish the middle island with this result.

I’m having the same problem @asher. Matilda doesn’t clear the pig in the middle no matter what angle I try. For now I’m settling with a 2-birder!

@vuelva Any chance you have a screenshot of Matilda trajectory? and where you drop her egg? like others I can’t get her fat butt to clear that middle pig! But i have utmost faith in you and your strats that I’ve followed for years!
Maybe the level has changed as @Asher suggested, if he can’t do it well.. i haven’t a chance lol!

Not a upper high score (yet) but beat my prior highest when I couldn’t seem to get the “regular way” to work for me.
and @MVNLA2 – some instability! on some runs, without anything touching it that I can see, the bus on the far right starts shaking and disintegrates itself, once before timeout giving me an extra 10K for my high of 198!
Terrence down at 45 degree angle, barely missing the wooden triangle. with a bounce toward the middle he drops the two left structures then rolls through the sea taking out almost everything there. sometimes he even gets the block of sand holding the pig by the bus on the right.

Second bird same trajectory, releasing the egg on whatever wood remains and arcing through the sand holding the middle and right structures.

I sometimes have to fire red, my highest I was holding him in the sling when the bus started going ballistic and destroyed itself and the bus driver pig and counted up to 188 for a 198 total.

Again not a super high score but repeatable and 3-starrable.

I have posted 2 pics from my new score. ( I sent Big Red the same as everyone else)
The first pic shows where I activated the second bird,and the destruction that resulted. A fair amount of debris remained. The second pic is of the final score for another puppy.

P.S. I tried to use the strategy of @vuelva ,but Matilda would not clear the upper right alien-pig,at least not on my PC. She does,however,on my five year old Toshiba android-based tablet. This level, Invasion of the Egg Snatchers, was the very last episode of AB that I was able to play on the old tablet.(Toshiba dropped support for it two years ago)

That’s interesting that the high lob shot over to the remains of the bus doesn’t work on your PC (Bluestacks?) but does on your old Android tablet.
I think @vuelva plays on & ipad, & looks like @jlz-666 got it to work on her iphone. But I have an ipad Air & it doesn’t work for me, Matilda will not clear the platform.
I don’t remember seeing such a wide discrepancy between devices before on a shot.

Congrats also to @meanguy. That’s a great score for he only puppy of the day! Like you @karen68, I play on iPad Air, and commented earlier this year that the high lob over the right alien-pig is not possible. I’ve tried it exhaustively and it comes nowhere near to clearing the pig.

yes, i played these levels on i-pad air, but nowadays that machine is in another country (played AB games almost exclusively on that machine; only have a very old mac version of ABO currently), so i cannot check whether or not jlz-666’s strat is still working for me.

my guess would be that it’s an ABS software version thing rather than something depending on platform; looking at the dates of my scores, i played the IoES episode exclusively at the end of January/the beginning of February 2016 which seems consistent with meanguy’s remark that the strat works on his toshiba tablet with a version of ABS dating from the end of 2015. (already then when reading the comments i had the feeling that some of the levels had been changed compared to the first release of IoES; e.g. i just `skipped’ 1-5.)

from what i remember one had to be reasonably careful to clear the pig with the 2nd shot of that strat, but pixel precision was not required for it, allowing some adaptation to the debris situation after the 1st.

@karen68 First,Thank You! Second,yes,I use Bluestacks on my PC. Actually it’s Bluestacks 2 because I was forced to upgrade. The 3 bird strategy just doesn’t work on my PC. The 2 bird strategy of @asher worked well enough to get another puppy.
So far,using the 3 bird strategy on my old tablet,I’ve reached just over 221,000 points. I think the reason this strategy works on the tablet is because for the past two years none of the Rovio updates to any of the AB games are compatible with this tablet’s Android system (4.0.1 I think). The last update to Seasons (on my old Toshiba tablet) was Invasion of the Egg Snatchers back in
2015,so I am trying to raise my score using the 3 bird strat.

These updates that eliminate a high scoring strategy are really annoying. Especially this one that doesn’t even seem to be related to fixing a glitch! Did the designer of this level get annoyed that we found a way to score higher than they intended and change it to be spiteful?

Same first two shots as in the video for this level. Big red even went all the way to the right side and took out the wooden pole/structure that most of it is off screen. Points were hard to get to make an above average score.
The ME was challenging to obtain. Stuck a 99% for a while. Used all three birds to destroy as much on the left and middle and flew the can into the pile on the right side. Was not not much debris remaining.

Pretty much just like the video. I never expected to get above average on the second try. Crazy. Some levels take days and then you get one like this. I shouldn’t complain, the next one is likely to be a beast.
