Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs level 1-4 is to fire the first Yellow bird straight ahead, through the ghost blocks, and into the wood just below the zombie pig. Arc a Yellow bird to detonate the TNT from above, clearing the entire right side of the level. The score in the video is 83,390.

88970 – Send the first Y/B to the TNT. It’s not an easy shot, but do-able.
A one birder is possible that way. But I obtained higher scores with two birds.

I sent the first bird into the top of the left tower causing it to topple. Second shot like the video cleared the rest.

First bird takes out the lower wooden box in the first tower, destroying the zombie-pig with it as the entire left structure collapses to the right. Next yb with a high arc into the tnt in the right structure.

This strat worked best for me. Consistently got 20k on 1st shot, a few times 24-26k. Finish with second shot into TNT.

Yeah, I figured out the same strategy. Nick the top right corner of the box and continue on into the vertical support under the scarecrow pig, making sure that the wooden square breaks and the supporting stack of blocks (two ghost, one stone) topples left. This is not an easy shot, but can be intermittently achieved with practice. The shot into the TNT isn’t a gimme, but I can get it about half of the time by shooting the bird fairly steeply so that the angle of attack is a little more side-on. In this way, depending on precisely where you hit, either the bird will continue on to the TNT directly, or the larger pig on the top will fall straight down and ignite it.

Even though I’m less than 1k behind the top score, I had a fair amount of debris that easily could have broken had the collapse been even the slightest bit cleaner. I think 102k+ may be possible.

Used the same technic and got 95110 with 2 birds. There is enough debris left to indeed get over the 100k, but for now this will have to do.

Hi there @e-star, for the first time I am having a hard time replicating your second shot as it does not always penetrate all the way to the TNT, of course, I do know that this is mostly rinse and repeat until fully satisfied, soooooo… off we go to Rovio Laundromat. Thank you.

96770 with 3. 1st bird through the first tower just above the wooden square without hitting it, takes out zombie pig’s part of the structure. 2nd up and over to take of the TNT per the video. Pig in square survived, shot red bird to hit top of tower and knock it over on top of pig, nice amount of damage. Might work as a quick 3rd shot even if all pig were killed by first two shots.

Took a lot of tries but made it with 3 birds this way, had to quick fire 3rd shot though on 90% of my tries. Thanks @dmsral !

Second bird is probably the most crucial for achieving max points, you need relatively flat debris on the left side of the TNT after it explodes, so that when the column falls it makes the maximum impact. 99460.

Of all the episodes in HH I find this one to be the hardest in obtaining a decent score due to the lack of alternatives, it’s either first Bird through the ghost blocks or first Bird in a high arc to try to hit the TNT which is mostly elusive and doesn’t always yield the same results.

Today I’ve gotten about 3 1-Birders on this episode, unfortunately, for me anyway, the highest score I’ve obtained is shown above.

All you need do if you want 1-Birders is to reverse the order of shots and aim your first yellow bird at the TNT instead of the ugly pig.

Perhaps those of you out there with i-Phones, Pads or Pods can get higher scores than I because I’m playing on a PC and for some strange reason the game only lets me get high scores on certain episodes of its own choosing.

There’s only a 10K difference between average and top score on this level, indicating (to me) some hidden points that someone has found. I’m stuck at about average. I’m hoping someone lends some insight, and will come back here soon!

@playdbird this was one of the most frustrating levels for me so far. My score of 92k was the only time I got above average. Austin has the right idea above, the horizontal stone & the 2 ghost blocks beneath really need to tip over to clear the way for falling debris but it’s really hard to do. If you hit at the join of the plank the freaky-looking pig sits on & the vertical one underneath, sometimes the yellow bird can get wedged between the stone block & the hollow wood square, as it falls it pushes the blocks left. But I found it hard to repeat & after a couple of hours on this level I gave up trying to improve.

I used a slightly different strategy to achieve the top score (at least for now). Instead of aiming for the bottom hollow wooden block, I aimed for the hollow wooden block under the top level of wood blocks on the left tower. I hit it on the bottom and the YB continued on to kill the freaky pig. As the left tower wooden blocks fall where the freaky pig was sitting, they destroy some more wood and push the hollow block down or destroy it. This allows the vertical stone piece to fall either now or later. Second YB into the side of the hollow block above the TNT. The TNT hopefully blows and destroys the right side and more debris goes left and the vertical stone piece falls and destroys more wood.
To be honest, I got this score very quickly after starting to play this level. Usually, I have to work much harder to even get an above average score. Anyway, Happy Holidays everyone! Keep flinging those birds!

I have been using @betlib strategy for the first Chuck.

For the second Chuck I have been using a high arc trajectory as described by @zebung.

@asher thanks for the screenshot,, just to clarify , when @betlib says
“YB into the side of the hollow block above the TNT. ” There are kinda 2 hollow wooden blocks above the tnt, your screenshot shows a high arc , is that through the block just to the upper right of batpig? Of the 3 hollow wooden blocks the one in the middle? Appreciate your help if you can?
