The Angry Birds Seasons Ham’o’ween update (v2.0.0) is now available for iOS, Symbian, and Android via the Android Market and Amazon Appstore. Hopefully other platforms will be getting the update soon. This update — which has been teased for weeks — comes on the eve of the one year anniversary of “Trick or Treat” and features the new Orange Bird!

This update includes:
- New Orange Bird! The Orange Bird is unlocked on level 1-4. He’s a tiny little guy, about the size of the blue bird, but he’s hiding a “big” secret. You can trigger him to MASSIVELY inflate at any point in-flight or about 2-seconds after contact, after that he will auto-inflate. No he doesn’t explode, but rather he hangs out for a bit before he deflates and flies off. Awesome! He does seem to slice through wood pretty well.
- Seasons episodes are now broken down in two categories: 2011 and 2012
- 30 new levels all themed for a slightly darker Halloween
- One hidden Golden Egg and a bonus “Big Black Pumpkin” Golden Egg level
- 6 new achievements, which are currently available on iOS only
- Bright Side of the Moon achievement bug has been fix, but you may have to re-defeat levels 1-15 and/or 2-15.
- Seasons Greeding 1-16 feather threshold is lowered. Congrats to those who got their badge before the threshold was changed!
- The Golden Egg numbering has been removed completely! So I suppose our numbering is now the sacrosanct, which means we may finally be able to publicly release the Angry Birds Seasons Golden Eggs Leaderboard.
- Pro tip! The dark pumpkins act as TNT. The orange pumpkins are worth 3,000 points, as are the skulls with eyes lit.

there is a bug for the golden eggs. the trick or treat levels are flip flopped and i suddenly have the 3 star mooncake level

i got the glitch where moon festival gives you 3 stars everywhere without even doing anything. also the normal golden moon cake didn’t have a star but it had a high score.

i think this was the easiest episode in any of the games ever. cuz i 3-stared it really fast.
in seasons greetings the surprise video thing that i got and watched like 1/2 a year ago had the golden egg rays around it as if i had never watched it.
when the 3 star moon festival glitch happened (see my previous post 4 details) it didn’t give me 3 stars it just gave me the moon cake

I got the same problem with the Surprise Video and I think it’s going to be fixed next update, but it’s not a big deal. The Moon Cake probably too, but it didn’t happen with me.
The stars won’t appear on the Mooncake until you beat the level. The gift is part of a larger issue that I emailed Rovio about.

Just a quick question, what’s the difference between Seasons and Seasons HD? Or.. for that matter, Rio and Rio HD?
The non-HD versions are available for mobile devices, such as iPhone or Android phones. The HD versions are for larger, tablet devices, such as iPad. There’s no difference in the levels, but the graphics on HD are much better. The HD is also more expensive though.

Seasons is not yet available for PC. (There was an accidental release that some users grabbed, but there has not been an official release yet.) We hope it will be soon, though.
Since the last update (before Ham’o’ween) my bonus levels for three-starring every level in Easter, Go green, and Valentines Day appear that I havnt unlocked them but I have three starred every level and played them before. they just don’t open anymore.
Now with Ham’o’ween update whenever i go to a screen with the Facebook/Twitter levels they have no stars like they arent completed, and when i enter them and exit they re-appear again…its really irritating.
I’ll contact you regarding the first part (the Big Items).
The second part (Facebook/Twitter levels) is a known bug. I agree it’s strange, but at least no data is missing.

I am having this issue with the big pumpkin for trick or treat. I have (for a while) all of the stars 135/135 but with the last update now the pumpkin is not lit and not even selectable to play. I tried replaying a few levels to try to retrigger it but no dice. Can I get the fix for that issue as well?

Hard to say, but that’s not a bad guess. Whatever it is it’s got gas!
Here’s how to get the # of stars on the FB and Twitter levels back on:
1. Play the 3-star mooncake level (most of you should have it)
2. Go back to selection level
3. Check the FB and Twitter levels.
4. There you go, you should have the number of stars shown on the level selection screen for Hogs and Kisses; Go Green, Go Lucky; and Easter
Unfortunately, if you completely exit the app (for example, restart your device), all your work is undone.
THIRTY new levels! I rejoiced, and decided that I would make them last, like Pignic. No more than two levels a day. Really. So how does it happen that only forty-eight hours later all of the levels are completed!?! No one else uses my iPad (although the cat occasionally helps by pawing at the birds on the screen – especially helpful when trying to time a white bird egg drop). Guess I’ll go rake some leaves, it’s a beautiful afternoon in Michigan.

Try logging out/in to GameCenter manually. You may need to agree to the new terms and conditions.

Have you tried restarting your device? If you’re on an iPhone, hold down the Home and Sleep buttons for about 10s. This will force a hard restart.
I have a phone with Android, and even restarting the phone, it doesn’t work…
However Angry Birds and AB Rio works.
In what way is it not working well?
The game is very slow (ingame and during the selection of the level) and the wallpapers are not displayed.
I’m not an Android user but could it have anything to do with ABSeasons being on a memory card while ABo and ABr are saved on the phone?
No, I don’t think so…
The games are downloaded from Android Market and are all stored in one place.
You may be best off contacting Rovio with as many specifics as possible. Besides the SD vs Phone memory that Fuji mentions, I can’t think of much else.

PS: I forgot to say I’ve seen on Android Market that some people had the same problem as me on different phones, so I’m not sure if this is a problem of SD card.
Also Emma, it depends how much you have running in the background, and how consuming the theme is on the phones resources. Rooting the phone can help with closing things running in the background. It gives you total and utter control of the phone. Muahaha! Try updating to the latest OS as well, because Android recently released a brand new and shiny OS that works like a charm.

Got a glitche after the update, when I’m on mooncake festival page, all my levels are not still three stars but the golden three star mooncake is appear???

Just got three stars in all levels of ham o ween! The egg in 2-2 was pain in you know what to get. Aim black bird at bottom left corner of pimpkin pit with the three rocks at top right corner. Took about 50 tries to get but finally got it. Have fun.
When symbian can update for version??
Symbian just received the Mooncake Festival update, so not for a little while, I suspect.
I think Mooncake festival for symbian came out at about same time as it dit to other devices

What version of the app are you now running? Check the ” i ” in the bottom-left corner.

Odd bug?
I just got Ham’o’ween Score Addict achievement. I see it colored in and everything on my achievement list, yet at the top I’m listed as only having 52 of 54 achievements? I’m still missing the destroy 300 black pumpkins, so I was expecting 53 of 54…
Have you compared your list to our full list of achievements? As far as I know, there are absolutely no achievement-related bugs in Seasons anymore.
It fixed itself after I finished getting the 300 black pumpkin achievement and jumped from 52 to 54.
Attention iOS Users:
Rio has added Mighty Eagle achievements on GameCenter. Looks like we have done sardines in our future!
Arggggh and we still wait for the ME to *properly* land on Android (and just for the Original AB)…………………… :-(
At least it hopefully means 15 more levels on Rio, for all, by tomorrow! :-)

i can’t quite find the answer to this
but, yesterday my seasons wasn’t quite opening, so i restarted my ipod and then it opened, but the sound was on (i always have it set to sound off) and then all the levels, except level 1, was locked…but level 1 showed the 3 stars i got…so i played through it, and noticed that every level still showed my scores and my stars, yet they’re locked…and after i go through it (whether i complete it or not) it stays unlocked, except for 2-1 and on..
and it’s like this for every episode in seasons, except summer pignic and season’s greedings
and it still randomly closes on me
if i hard reset it, that won’t erase everything on my ipod, will it? because i don’t have all my music backed up…a regular reset just holding down the one button) usually helps the game load better, but it’s not fixing the locked levels
and i just tried it again, and the music was on, and now all the levels are still locked, even though every episode shows that i’ve acheived all the stars/stars for each level..
any ideas?

A hard reset (hold down both the home and sleep buttons on an iOS device) will NOT delete all your data. It’s worth a try (resets usually help a lot). If you have further issues, let us know and we may be able to help you out some.

You are running Seasons 2.0.0 yes? (Ham’o’ween) and on an iOS device?
When I got the Ham-oween update, it interfered with all my other Seasons 2011 games. All episodes show as being locked, yet when I try again, it shows my prior scores, and the egale feather. Yet when I try to use the eagle again, a message pops up that I have to purchase the eagle again, and I can’t use it. What a mess!! Does anybody have any idea how to fix it without going through all the old games and replaying them? And, all the eagle feathers in the Picnic episode are entirely erased. I sent an email to Rovio.

Same as described above…. All levels suddenly locked. I see my score as before, but I can’t get into them. And no might eagle feathers for my older seasons games. I had to try 1-16 now that it’s easier! Cruel trick, this bug. :)
