The Angry Birds Seasons Ham’o’ween update (v2.0.0) is now available for iOS, Symbian, and Android via the Android Market and Amazon Appstore. Hopefully other platforms will be getting the update soon. This update — which has been teased for weeks — comes on the eve of the one year anniversary of “Trick or Treat” and features the new Orange Bird!

This update includes:
- New Orange Bird! The Orange Bird is unlocked on level 1-4. He’s a tiny little guy, about the size of the blue bird, but he’s hiding a “big” secret. You can trigger him to MASSIVELY inflate at any point in-flight or about 2-seconds after contact, after that he will auto-inflate. No he doesn’t explode, but rather he hangs out for a bit before he deflates and flies off. Awesome! He does seem to slice through wood pretty well.
- Seasons episodes are now broken down in two categories: 2011 and 2012
- 30 new levels all themed for a slightly darker Halloween
- One hidden Golden Egg and a bonus “Big Black Pumpkin” Golden Egg level
- 6 new achievements, which are currently available on iOS only
- Bright Side of the Moon achievement bug has been fix, but you may have to re-defeat levels 1-15 and/or 2-15.
- Seasons Greeding 1-16 feather threshold is lowered. Congrats to those who got their badge before the threshold was changed!
- The Golden Egg numbering has been removed completely! So I suppose our numbering is now the sacrosanct, which means we may finally be able to publicly release the Angry Birds Seasons Golden Eggs Leaderboard.
- Pro tip! The dark pumpkins act as TNT. The orange pumpkins are worth 3,000 points, as are the skulls with eyes lit.

The golden egg is located in level 2-2
the orange bird is almost worthless. doesn’t barge like the big brother red bird.
Every bird takes some getting used to I think. He’s not a giant mass like Big Brother. Something full of air doesn’t really have all that much destructive force.
Have to say he’s really grown on me! Can cut through wood almost as good as yellow but with a spectacular finale!. Only prob is I’ve had quite a few lol moments when I’ve inflated him in mid air thinking he’s yellow!!. He really seems to fit Halloween,do you know if he’s for this season only or if he’s a keeper?
I think he’s going to be part of the normal repertoire.
He’s not worthless,he is a pretty good bird.Like the boomerang bird-takes some time to fire properly but then becomes very useful.And besides,every bird has to have a weakness.Think from the developer’s point of view.After all,there is no fun without a challenge.The orange bird isn’t the ultimate solution to your piggie problems because he’s new

redo levels? seriously? why not get 100% on a certain seasons greedings level to get that achievement while we’ew at it?
Like it’s that big of deal to play 1 or 2 levels? You don’t need to get high scores. Just pass it.
Also, that Seasons Greedings level is quite easy now.

-Golden egg on level 2-2, zoom out top right corner (Kinda hard to get)
-No intro when you start 1-1 (I enjoy the intro’s)
-No a fan of the new bird. Maybe the comic will change my view. Never the less GLAD to be playing some new levels.
Uploaded this onto my iPod this morning and got to level 1-6 easy enough then the app threw me out and now refuses to load at all. Any suggestions how to sort this as was really enjoying this edition especially the orange bird!
Full restart should help. Hold both the home and sleep buttons for 10 seconds.

Getting the 63k of destruction for 3* in 1-4 took ages. I think the globe bird will replace green as my least loved! :-)
I think globe bird is interesting…..can cause massive destruction in a heavily packed structures….
Better than boomerang bird in which its backward route cannot easily predicted…

I like it better than the green, Little red, white and possibly the blue. Im getting pretty good with him! Theses levels are sweet! White bird is still the worst IMO.
“re-defeat 1-15 AND 2-15” is wrong. 2-15 was sufficient fir me.

What does the music sound like?
The music from the YouTube video sounds like Danny Elfman’s work with Tim Burton – Batman, Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, etc.
As noted above, the Golden Egg is located high up to the right on 2-2.
I managed to nail it with a pumpkin by throwing the bomb bird into the side of the two concrete blocks next to the pumpkin storage. The resulting explosion should throw one or two pumpkins high enough to plow through the Golden Egg. Took me a couple of goes but I managed it eventually.
Now, back to trying to attain 3 stars!
You can also do it by throwing the three rocks on the right pillar with the force of the black bird’s explosion.That’s how I did it.

What type of Android phone do you have? I don’t see any updates on the android app market or Amazon Appstore?
I have the Sensation 4G, but it shouldn’t matter. Try turning your phone off and on and going back to the market. If that doesn’t do it, try searching for ABS on the Market and it may say update available.
Damn orange bird comes in and is already better than the rest. i love that you can inflate him anytime!
