One of the most maddening levels I’ve done in quite a while. I was just ready to accept a less than average score but pushed on for a few more tries. Somehow the bird gods smiled upon my final efforts and granted me success!

Two birds. The first not drastically different from the video, at about a 45 degree angle up splitting quite early, but it cleared everything except for the 2 leftmost piggies and not much debris left. A simple second shot.

@bikkit thanks for the verification of the angle, I’m having a tough time with that second shot, and what’s up with that funky umbrella sometimes it shakes itself back together:/
Any advice on the second shot can give would help, I’m trying like the video, i can’t quite get stubborn Matilda fat body over to the other pigs on the right!

Hi @kathy I just revisited the level and that second shot is taxing isn’t it! I can’t do it. Re-reading my posting from February I think I didn’t need skill/luck on my 2nd, as I’d had luck/luck on my first and only had the left pigs to deal with.

I am telepathing luck in your direction so you should be able to get the first shot, no problemo.

Thanks @bikkit I can use all the luck I can get, yes that second shot is a Doozy ,I’ll try harder on the first so hopefully I won’t have to keep cursing Matilda (although she deserves it) lol :)
I’ll keep at it a bit more

Hi @kathy. Playing for today’s challenge and experienced your shaking umbrella. It split into pieces and leaned to the left, then the glass support started to twitch like crazy and then it pulled the pieces upright and they joined together again. Weird! 🤔

I agree with @philsey on this one. I was using a similiar strategy to @bikkit and came here after getting 129780. My surprise is the high score. 3 hours of flinging and really BIG L FACTOR I finally broke average.

Seasons FHM 1-10 Bird #1

Second Bird (Mathilda): to the right of the heart, drop bomb. The “not a carcass” is ricocheted agains the wood and drops back on the pig on the left.

Thank you @bernersenn for the post and @comex666 for the video. Could not complete this level with two birds. The right side lower pig was a challenge. Used three birds and was able to obtain an above average score. The release point for the blues appears to have changed to a bit higher I relation to the background to what is in the video.

Right now I am not here to post a score, but rather I am seeking some help and/or advice. I play Angry Birds on both my Dell PC, using BlueStacks, and on an android-based Lenovo tablet, both of which are nearly 3 years old. For some reason that I cannot figure out, Seasons will not open on either device.
I have gone so far as to completely delete Seasons from both machines, (after making backups using Titanium Backup), then re-installing a fresh copy of the game from the Play Store. Even a fresh install of the game will not open ( I decided to wait to re-install the app data from Titanium). Since the problem happens on both devices, with & without BlueStacks, I am guessing that this may be a Rovio issue. I have sent them a message about this, but I’m sure that even if I do get a reply from them, it will not arrive in time for today’s Challenge.
If anyone has an answer or an idea as to what else I can try to correct this, please let me know.
Thank you !!

Good luck & happy flinging to all.

@meanguy someone started a forum topic about this, it seems to be an Android problem.
It opens fine on my ipad.

@karen68 Thanks. I’ve read & tried everything I could find here in the Nest and on the ‘net. I’m still waiting to hear from Rovio. I hope they can help before the next Seasons level comes up in the Challenge ( they aren’t known for speedy replies or fixes).

Just an update that might work for others having this problem:
A few minutes ago I turned on my android-based tablet & did not notice that it hadn’t connected to the internet. I tried to open Season’s, and it worked. It wasn’t until I tried to open ABN that I realized that the wifi was off, so I turned it on and the game is still working.

I then turned the game off and tried to turn it back on…with no luck. I tried again, with no wifi, and again it worked.
If I turn the wifi on after I open Season’s the game appears to still work. I have no idea why this works as I really know very little about computers. I also don’t know if this would work on my PC. I’ve never tried to use BlueStacks without the internet.

I am still waiting to hear from Rovio, but maybe this will help someone else.

I also started a forum about Seasons Crashing, a while ago, I’ll try to find the link. but anyway, mine still does sometimes , or it freezes up and i get kind of a double screen, when resetting a level, i get like a half screen of the Ad and the game screen.
what I’ve been doing now is opening the game with WiFi on or mobile connection, then as soon as it loads shut connections off. usually it stays good for a while but still freezes up or crashes at some point. and some days it happens more often than others. I don’t think Rovio gives a ….

@kathy – I just got a “notification” from ABN about this post. For the past few months, notifications were extremely slow in arriving, if I got them at all.

Unfortunately, there is nothing I can tell you about how to improve in this level, but, I can possibly shed some light on the “crashing issue”.
For me, it turned out to be a conflict between Seasons and AVG Antivirus. After exchanging a few emails with AVG, they directed me to a forum about Seasons crashing unless AVG was disabled. This worked until I re-enabled AVG, then the problem returned. After a lot of searching on the web, I finally found someone who was having the same problem. His solution was to completely remove AVG from all devices and install a different antivirus/anti malware. That did it, no more trouble with Seasons.

Just after Christmas I got an email from AVG, regarding using their antivirus & Seasons. They suggested completely removing AVG from my devices – parts of it hide in various places in the operating system. Then they said to install the very latest version of AVG Antivirus and try using Seasons. I did this just after the New Year and have not had a problem since.

I don’t know if this will work for other antivirus or malware protections but, so far, it’s working for me.
I hope this helps,
Meanguy

@kathy – AVG is an antivirus program, sort of like Norton or McAfee, that has to be downloaded. I use it on all my devices that connect to the internet. As I understand it, some antivirus programs have a conflict with Seasons. I had the problem with ABS on my Android-based tablet and on my Windows-based PC where I use the BlueStacks 2 emulator. This is what is working for me.

Thanks for mentioning the puppies! Recently I freaked out one of my neighbors by telling her that I had over 100 puppies. When she caught her breath, I explained the nature of my “puppies”. Now she doubts nearly everything I tell her…lol. Oh well.
