Angry Birds Seasons Back to School Level 1-1 Walkthrough

One strategy for Angry Birds Seasons Back to School level 1-1 is to fire the red bird into the hollow wood block with the goal of hitting hard enough to pop all the pigs on the left hand side. Now fling one more red bird into the supporting leg of the far right tower, taking it down. The score in the video is 78,330.

this is just impossible! there isn’t enough power in the red bird to knock over the first column. very disappointed. have completed every other angry birds game but don’t think I’ll bother with this if it’s already impossible for me to get 3 stars on the first level!

Dear Prof Surfcow,

That is about the best advice I have read concerning playing Angry Birds -any level! This is a game offering challenges and, most of all, fun. I love to get 3 stars or one-birders or find a different way to score. I do have a goal of being high score at least one time. I’m a 62 year old grandmother who plays angry birds with two of my grandchildren. I hope Bryan and many other players get what you wrote. Invaluable.

And those evil robots will have to pry that Newest Newer New New New New New iPad from my cold, dead fingers if they want me to stop playing Angry Birds Seasons 2022. Happy flinging to you and your offspring. Aloha.

P.S. And remember, if your grandchildren ever beat you on a level, hit restart before it gives the total score. If they complain, say, “Sorry, your Grandma’s got the fuzzy floozles,” or you can always blame it on Rovio and their “buggy code.” Good luck!

Dear Bryan,
As a adjunct professor of Angry Birds Physics, may I offer a suggestion? I like to call my approach Try All By Air Or which probably sounds like a strategy you know all too well. You are probably asking, “Or what?” professor Surfcow. Who hasn’t tried systematically flinging our feathered friends at every possible angle in an attempt to three-star a difficult level? The main difference between us and those Bad Piggies is that we usually learn from our mistakes. That and we have something they don’t: sweat glands. So make sure you are paying attention to what happens after you strike a particular piece of wood, cement plank or barnyard animal while playing; usually the answer to the star trifecta puzzle is discovered in much the same way scientists discover the next non-drowsy allergy formula: by trial and error. I call on all Angry Birds students to utilize God’s special gift to us – no, I’m not talking about sweat glands, @twylatime, even though getting three stars often involves some hard work. Let’s all try and remember to work smart too. Those swine are green for a reason. They are envious of everything we have that they don’t have, including eggs, sweat glands… And several dozen IQ points. Welcome back to school, everyone. Aloha.

By surfcow (@surfcow)Score: 83,440

P.S. Before any of you zoology majors jump all over my post, I know that pigs have sweat glands but they do not function like a human’s does. They can release a little water and heat through passive diffusion, but it is not enough for the pigs to rely on. So in order to combat heat, pigs have adapted by using behavioral thermoregulation, which is the act of cooling themselves in the mud or water. Agreed, the strategy is nigh impossible because after many attempts, the red bird simply imparts not enough energy to trigger such event.

But my last attempt managed to hit a bit higher, the triangle block that caused the structure to tip; 2nd bird exploited the tip by hitting the triangle block again, caused the structure to crash onto the other structure, topple both, finish the deal with 73190 points.

I think most of the problem lies in the umbrella that is held by the helmet pig. It acts as a counterforce, cancelling out the energy imparted by the red bird striking the structure.
