Angry Birds Seasons Arctic Eggspedition level 1-23 was first available on Monday, December 23rd, 2013. Our strategy for this level is to send the Pink bird towards the bottom tnt. The detonation should clear most of the bottom pigs. Then send Red up towards the snow balls, so that they roll towards the far right pigs. The score in the video below is 86,930.

Be sure to shoot pink far enough right to pick up the TNT and the iceberg.
I was stuck till I watched the vid and saw that both can be picked up and create quite a bit of destruction.

I think there are lots of ways to beat this one. I skimmed Pink over top, knocking down most of the snow, then activated when she hit the snowballs, setting them on their way (yes it takes a little practice but can be repeated). Clean up with second bird as necessary.

I actually didn’t worry too much about picking up the ice – just aim pink bird to pick up TNT & the only variable is if it goes off in mid air. If it does, then it’s a 1 birder. Got 101,030 so far but think there’s a little more but not much….

I managed 96K with 1 bird, Stella towards the TNT to pick it up, but also got good results with two birds 100K.

Two other ways to get above 90k.
1. Picked up big ice and sent it right. Took out almost everything. Red through hanging strings to get rid of 2 remaining pigs. 90k.
2. Went under water to lift TNT and got a one bird clear for nearly 94k.
Literally my first two tries so I know there are bigger points here.

Hi @chimichangachick – I just saw this but am glad to see you now have above avg score so something worked for you! Underwater I went in at about 3/4 of the way over from the left so it picked up both the TNT (with the left bubble) and the smaller piece of ice (with the right bubble). The TNT really only works on the left and the small piece of ice does the heavy work on the right. Sometimes it’s a one bird if the hat pig swings into wood hard enough. If not, send red to the snowballs and hope the top one breaks that tiny pink “doorstop” lol and sends the rest into that pesky straggler. Hope you enjoyed the holidays. I’m back to Star Wars in hopes of above average…

Used the second strategy for the underwater pickup of the tnt and the smaller iceberg. Kept pink bird close to the underside of the big iceberg. Used the second bird to dislodge the snowballs on the top shelf.

Lower trajectory with pink bird than in the video. If it picks up the raft and the TNT, and luck is on your side, it’s a one birder.

Shot Stella higher than the video, as she bumps to the wooden plank, the iceberg and TNT will floats and clears the left and middle level. The foreman pig still survived. Shot Red just like the video, if you got lucky, all the snowballs fell and pops the foreman pig.

Sent the pink bird just under the big ice boulder and activated in-between the TNT and small ice boulder lifting them both for a 1 Birder.

@mrshabs @leelee0927. I have been doing that same move, over and over, since 7pm last night, with only an occasional 2 birder. I don’t even remember a one birder. My score reflects what is happening for me. I’m wondering if platform makes a difference. I’m on a Nexus 7. You guys on PC, phone, something different than mini tablet? Yeah, I’m trying to pass off my lack of skill on Google’s Nexus 7. LOL. No, honestly, maybe how the friggin pixelation variable is, etc.

I’m in doubt what strat is better, 1-or 2-birder. With one birder, you miss the entire upper part. My 101k is made with 2 birds. Highscore for the moment is 105k, so flinging on.

I skimmed over the raft, taking out its pigs, and picked up the tnt and small iceberg. The explosion sent debris to the right, taking out those pigs.

Here I had this great strat that involved picking up the big iceberg, dropping it on the raft, then having it resurface just under the iceball to take out the left side of the level, red to the snowball pile to finish things off. I come here to post my “great” score and find that I am not even close to the average. At least now I know the “right way” to score high on this level.

Went in from below, picked up the ice ball and TNT and got me a one birdie. I agree it looks like a 2 birdie might be better for a high score, but for now I am happy with my one birdie and a score of 102050.

@kathy I feel your pain! Last 2 levels I couldn’t even get an average score because I can’t seem to work boomer right. Hate that bird. :( Now its bubbles.
