Angry Birds Rio Rocket Rumble Walkthrough Level #15

Our strategy for Rocket Rumble Level #15 is to loft Matilda to the right side of the first tower, and drop he egg bomb. Matilda should ricochet towards the detonating cord above. Then send another bird towards the remaining marmosets to finish off the level. The score in the video below is 105,810.

Followed the video. I regularly get over 113k with just the two birds. Should get over 50k with the first bird. Have to make sure you hit the diagonal wood plank on the far right and drop the egg bomb between the towers.

Agreed on 50K+ and hitting the diagonal plank. I try to aim WB so that it hits that plank but at the same time drops the egg exactly between the two structures.

I agree with @gsherbon and @fenikus.
My two cents and tip on first WB Matilda……. lob her close and high. When launching, have her face almost touching slingshot post. Have her come down as close as possible to the right side of top left structure. Drop egg at the BASE of this structure, while her body flys up to trigger rockets.

The goal on the first bird is to get as much destruction on the top left structure as possible, triggering the rockets, and then to have her body drop down to help with more damage points in the middle.

I did try for hours to find a one bird solution, but without success.

I tried to have Matilda’s body hit in middle of rockets to re-direct them. I did succeed a few times to have a rocket hit the far right OR top left structure, but I never could get the rockets to split enough to hit both at the same time. I tired many different angles, but it always took a second bird and then with very low scores at that! :-(

I think this might be one of those levels where two birds results in more destruction points over one?????
One bird for each side, along with good strikes from eggs, bird bodies, and rockets (they hit different almost very time) for the most debris destruction.

I will come back later to see if maybe one of the ABN “thinking out of the box” sharp shooters found a way to re-direct the rockets for more points down the road.?!?!?!?!

I have a problem on this level, I cannot get that rocket on first WB as video, because I only see a bit of that ‘red’ line (what that call?) that ignite rocket.
So I’m not possible 3 star on this level.
Any android user exprience it? Using tab 2 7.0.

@PJng The “red line” is usually called a fuse. Do you have a screenshot of the shorter one on your Android? I can push it toward Rovio’s end.

@pjng, I’m on a Galaxy S3 and don’t have any problems seeing the fuse when fully zoomed out.

I’m wondering if there is an adjustment that could be made on your device to allow you to zoom out as shown in my screenshots, which could be referenced in your user manual? Or maybe you could call your carrier’s support line or search on the web for more info.

100%. I couldn’t get past 121k. Decided to switch and got 122k twice and then current score within 45 minutes.

I did the same on reversing the shots. Found that dropping the egg between the two right structures worked best with a high lob. The second white should come close to the upper left structure and release the egg on the right side. The rest is luck with the sequence of destruction and falling debris.

I flagged this one, not being mean, i’m @ 60th or 70th, but this is a classic DCB score. with one bird left, 10K above a really good (above mine) 124K, and 6K above the next highest. Here’s the insidious thing. you don’t even necessarily realize you got a DCB, and there’s no way to clear it. You have a good round, you pause to post or review or whatever, you come back to an awesome score!

124170 is IMHO a great score, I wish I had it, I may keep trying to beat it. But following advice here I did get 122 so now i’m looking for other point-gathering opportunities.

@uncle-b, a DCB level means Double-Counted Bird. It is a glitch that started appearing after an update that added new episodes to Rio.

Note: scores obtained from this glitch are not allowed on the leaderboards, and are not used for the Daily Challenge.
