Angry Birds Rio Market Mayhem Walkthrough Level 19 (14-4)

One strategy for Market Mayhem level 14-4 is to throw the Red bird as far as possible, bouncing him off the awning on the right side and back into the right side of the main structure. Bomb the leftmost structure and ricochet through the sand blocks above. Finish off with a Boomerang bird straight ahead. The score in the video below is 114,320.

1st shot (red): Clip the two big sand blocks supporting the top left structure. The whole structure should slam onto the TNT and destroy the lower left structure as well.
2nd shot (white): Have the body crush through the sand bridge. The body happened to bounce onto the lower right tent as well, hitting the supporting pole on the lower right.
3rd shot (green): Only the lower right marmoset remains, so I took a direct hit for pick-up.
4th shot (red): 10k.
5th shot (red): 10k.

Score: 126,060, way over average. Now try pushing it up again. >:)

Good strategy-but it is rare the TNT explodes from falling debris of the top left structure in the PC version-and does very little damage on the occasion it does explode to the lower left structure -maybe the stone vault containing such has been toughened up. But very much worth persevering with to give a clearer shot for the white bird shot – crucial to 3* success-the body should be aimed to clear as many of the the bridge sand blocks as possible and thus open the level up for boomerang bird to push over remaining structures to the right .

I did the shots just as on the walkthrough video, except I did it with only 2 birds, didn’t need the toucan or the other two birds. The white chicken pretty much destroyed the structure next to the TNT below and the sand bridge along with the upper left structure all fell on the structures below.

BTW @dg47, I find playing AB on a PC with a mouse to be easier and less exhausting than on an iPad, iPhone or Android Tablet, also, as far as destruction damage is concerned, I see no difference between platforms.

That’s my take on the subject and you’re entitled to your own as well. Ciao.

After many attempts to follow @bullets0000 strat I could not get the falling top structure to detonate up the TNT so…
1st red bird – down through the shrub to detonate TNT, with luck the stones will fly up and destroy the sandblocks of the upper structure.
WB – as @bullets0000 strat
Green bird straight through remaing structure which should get any remaining marmosets.
2 remaining red = 20k
Not a great score but above average for now!

@mumsie42 the video strat is easier in my opinion, but fling the white bird lower and let the carcass clip the right sandboxes under the upper tower (and most of the bridge) so it falls into the pit and hope for a good destruction. (and 3x10k in bonus if done right)

First bird through bush, through wood, into TNT. Debris flies up taking out front upper structure.

Second bird straight , drop bomb before debris pile. Carcass flies up into upper tent, defects down to lower tent, deflects from Lower tent into backside of debris.

Three birds left over.

That’s the strategy I used too. The two-birder is more difficult, but a three-birder can give a good score as well. I’ve had 130k with both two and three birds.

This is the same exact strat I used. Two birds for 131770. The red bird can take out the whole top and bottom left side. Then you just have to aim WB kinda horizontal, at a level shot and drop egg just before what remains in the middle section. The dropped egg will take out front middle section. The deflated body can cut right through some of the top remaining sand and for more points hit the top right wooden crate, then drop below and bounce off bottom tent to bounce left and take out remaining right side of middle structure.

This is what’s always so fun about Rio levels…they always give us “things” to bounce off of… allowing for crazy outcomes…always reminds me of @xebic88 ‘s crazy fun strats ;-D

Because this level was so much fun to play during COD yesterday, I came back to it this morning for few more tries…I thought top score of 139K was impossible to beat but as this picture shows, 141K+ is possible: http://angrybir.de/1cMCqLM. What was different this time was that the first bird destroyed not only left lower tower but the middle one as well so I was able to go a tad bit deeper with the WB. It destroyed both crates on top and pushed the canopy to the side and then like a cue ball hit with low english rolled back down. With canopy out of the way, right lower side was completely obliterated. I hope someone breaks 140K, I know I’ll certainly be back to try :)

This is a great strategy though it took some time to get the angle of the 2nd shot right. The 1st bird into the TNT cleared all of the small left lower tower so I was able to drop the egg right beside the vertical stone support of the remaining structure to help with the destruction.

Thanks @myselfiandm for the strategy and @comex666 for the video. First bird easy to the tnt box but the second bird did present the challenges in obtaining good destruction. Seemed like the later it was dropped to the structure the better destruction. Got an above average score but could not get into 130k scores.

A nice level this is. First red bird into the bushes next to the TNT. When the TNT explodes, it pushes debris up in the air to destroy the two buildings. Then aim the white bird almost horizontal laying her egg just left off the second building. The white bird bounces to the yellow and green shed in the upright corner downwards to the little yellow and green shed, destroying everything from the right.

As much as I tried the 2 bird strategy as per the above, I was never able to get to 128,000. I have no idea how the 130s came about, never mind the marvellous 139k. Enjoyable level nonetheless.
