The wait is finally over for those who play Angry Birds Rio on the Mac. To Rovio’s credit, they said they submitted this update to Apple around the 3rd week of May, but unfortunately some sort of bug help up it’s release. Oh well, it’s here now and I’m sure the next update that includes Carnival Upheaval is not too far off (this update doesn’t include Carnival Upheaval because it was submitted to Apple before it was even released).
This update includes:
- 30 levels in new world named Beach Volley (links to gameplay trailer)
- The Bomb Bird is unlocked!
- 15 hidden melons to find (links to walkthroughs)
- No more labels showing when the next updates to Rio will be released

I got this update today… I updated it from the App Store, but it didn’t updated my Angry Birds Rio App – what’s going on?

yep, I made sure… I still haven’t got it and the update isn’t in the App Store again. I might just restart my computer.

Anybody know how to get this may update for the MAC I can’t see anything in the app store ?

Amazingly enough I noticed it stated one of my apps had an update available I clicked update and low and behold it worked.
When can mac users expect the carnival levels? Is it gonna be another month late release?
You mean the next batch of Carnival Upheaval levels (the first 15 are already out)? The second update will likely be in the next few weeks. Also, the late release was due to a bug that had to be worked out. Those things happen from time to time.
