Angry Birds Rio Hidden Harbor Walkthrough Level #2

Our strategy for Hidden Harbor Level #2 is to fling the Blue bird underwater so he breaks through the icy plank from below. Drop the left tower with a Red bird to finish the level. The score in the video below is 125,210.

Its easier to get 3* level scoring by reversiing the order of the shots in the video. Red bird will break the glass plank most of the time with a well placed shot. More debris is destroyed as the first shot weakened the left structure.

One birder – Take a sharp angle down splitting immediately. The right bird splits the glass panel and the left bird comes up out of the water unsettling the left hand side of the structure.

Addendum to previous comment – the second bird comes out of the water and breaks the box at the base of the left-hand structure.

1-birder for 135,990 so far, 140K should be possible. I had the same train of thought as @stevenellie but went about it at a different angle which makes the method easier and more reliable, IMO. This screenshot describes the method better than any of my words could: Rio Hidden Harbor Level 2.

Many thanks for the screenshot; it was indeed worth a thousand words. Shooting dead straight horizontal and splitting about halfway to the platform, I was still only able to get a 1-birder about 1-2 times out of 10, but that ultimately led to a really solid score. Much appreciated!

Thanks @fenikus for the strategy/screenshot and @comex666 the the video. Played this level many times over a week trying to break into the 140k scoring range. Couldn’t get the sequence of falling debris as depicted in comex666 video. Great shot. The glass piece just didn’t line up to take out the boxes on the left side for the extra points. Fun level to play!

Here’s a variation on the one-bird shot. Aim about 15 degrees above horizontal and use the weakest draw on the slingshot that will allow you to launch. Split just before the bird nears the target, with the top bird going through the box and the other two diving and coming up under the glass plank. Because the dive is so shallow, it takes both of them to have enough power to break it. I’m going to have to give the @stevenellie and @fenikus methods a try next time I go back to the game.

two birds still get up into the 130s, the key is dropping as much of that initially frustrating stack that sits on the first platform. try to get your blues to split so that the outside (far) bird comes up through the little space there at the right side of the glass plank, and breaks the vertical support plank right there. with a bit of luck, the boxes fall far enough left to break some of that up, with an 85K first bird.
the second bird right at the spot where the glass hits the box also carries through to break more.
I even got a 1-birder this way, but it left more other debris than expected, and did a fast-count on the bonus birds while things were falling, so only 130 after tax, tags, and destination.
