Our strategy for Golden Beachball level 22 is to loft the Yellow bird into the right tower right above the chain, then use a “Reverse Remi Shot” to fling the Boomerang bird into the left tower. The falling blocks should clear the marmosets below, finishing the level. Depending on what lies in the pit, it may be worthwhile to use the White bird to earn more than the 10,000 point bonus. The score in the video below is 127,050.

A bit easier. But same result. Yellow bird to the middle wood plank of the left structure. This will clear it.
Green bird directly to the point where the chain stick to the right structure. Don’t use his power.
This will clear the rest
Oh yes!!! I was struggling to get a decent score on this one. Thanks for the strat, @traneric.
Totally agree. I have been using the same strat and consistently get 130K+. One thing I’ve noticed is that the barrel in the middle seems to be key! My highest scores have beenn when it beaks on the 1st shot. Otherwise there is more resistance to debris falling and breaking. A good score after the 1st shot should be over 65K (IMHO).
Thanks @traneric! Used your strat to get 140300.
140100 with 73k on the 1st bird.
Same strategy.
I use 3birds.
My first try!

@traneric, good strat. It’s exactly what our friend @surfcow once said “look at the strength of your opponent”. This level requires two kneeshots, just as you said.
Thanks @traneric! I actually missed with the second bird, hitting the glass instead of the plank, but it worked out in my favor giving me top score for the moment with 141,940. I expect a top score of around 145k, maybe more, is possible and even likely.
Great method @traneric, thank you. Ciao.
Traneric, Ty for strat. Got my goal of scoring in the top 100 in onky 10 flings , #66 for now. It usually takes a whole day or even a week of flinging to get top 100 if ever. This was the shortest time on a level because I followed your strat from the start. Also Zebug, you are right with the barrel. You do get much more points if it is gone by first bird. I would reset if the barrel wasn’t gone with first bird, this helped me get my score quicker. Mission accomplished, now on to what the next level!
Sorry, that is Zebung. Ugh, Apple auto correct!
Thanks Traneric your strat got me to 141K. Appreciate your help.
Used your first bird @traneric, thanks. I activated the yellow bird as close to the left wood boxes so the bird goes through and destroys things and monkeys on the other side. Best scores were in the low 70ks.
Did the RR with the boomerang bird and tried to hit the area of the wood triangle on the right structure. This levels had a lot of luck with the destruction from the falling debris. It was a fun level to play.
Oh, but I so look forward to using Boomerang Boy as he was intended to be used!
NOT!
2 birds for 141,800, just barely eked a Top Score for the time being ;-)
Shot YB as @traneric described to left tower, but reversed the Boomerang bird to hit the very bottom corner of the right tower. After the 1st shot my score was 61k & all of left tower was down leaving a clean path for a reverse shot to the right tower.
After getting notification that @bonneypattycat beat my 141,800 by scoring 141,940, I tried her method to better my score, but it didn’t work for me on Android phone so I tried my method & once again the reverse boomerang gave me a better score…this time for 142,190. I actually didn’t notice the score adding up as I’d stepped away from phone to answer hubby’s cell, but when I returned to my phone it showed New HighScore. Good fun going back and forth bonneypattycat.
lol @justpast40, that has to be the shortest-lived top-score I ever had! Not that many last very long ;)
I was trying it your way, but just couldn’t get it to work out for me so I went back to aiming higher, but with the reverse remi. Are you aiming for the wood at the bottom of the right tower?
@bonneypattycat, I was actually surprised mine lasted as long as it did; I also had TopScore on #19 (my 2nd & 3rd EVER on all Angry Birds in 2+ yrs here) & lost that hours before you posted here :-(
You’re right, I’m aiming at the wood in the left corner of right tower…wedged between the small square stone supporting vertical glass piece & the small round stone that attaches wooden “drawbridge.” I was going to try to include a thumbnail taken after the level scored that shows in the background the
reverse angle but I thought a link might be easier to enlarge if necessary. This is the 142,190: http://angrybir.de/19vOWBa
… & here’s the 1st time (also after level scored but you can get an idea of reverse angle in background: http://angrybir.de/19vPwiC
I’m a firm believer that different platforms & devices achieve slightly different results. There’s a HUGE “L” factor here….I’m not a bad shot, but there are so….many that are better……GL
Same shot as @traneric and the reverse remi that @justpast40 described into the lower left of the right tower.
Some observations: the YB can end up in several ways the least advantageous is locked in at the top of the tower. The best result I have had after the first shot is 80k, all marmosets dead below and all barrels broken. The way to achieve this is for the YB to pass through the wood cleanly and continue on to the lower right side. The top left remaining tower will more often than not will slowly tilt right and fall onto the debris in the pit as well.
With the boomerang bird shooting at the drawbridge chain fastener more often than not pushed the majority of the debris over the right edge instead of the pit. This is with a low arc if course. I toyed with trying a moonshot strat with very little to show for it.
I was left with the reverse remi to the lower left corner. For my current score, the boomerang bird hit the wood block and stone block and flipped up and broke the chain allowing the debris to topple left into the pit.
@swelld, I’m glad the reversed 2nd shot helped you too & congrats on your great score! I’ve yet to break 139k during today’s Challenge & more often than not, I’m completely missing my 2nd shot. I believe the key with this reverse is as you alluded … with the reverse hit to just the right spot, the corner as I described in July, a good amount of the debris from the right tower is more likely to fall into the pit than over the right edge. Oh IF ONLY … I’d managed to hit this 2nd shot today when after my 1st I’d had over 78k : – (
Wow, I bow down to you “reversed remi” master flingers…that shot completely eludes me! Couple of times I hit very close to the described location but the right tower just barely moved. I have to say though: on my current highscore of 137,250 I had 70K after the first bird. I did a reversed remi that missed a bit high and hit the vertical pieces of glass above the wooden base. Half of the tower did go into the pit. So my conclusion is that maybe it is not crucial to hit the base of the right tower, maybe the key is getting top notch score in the high 70s, I dunno…
*I meant top notch score in the high 70s after the first bird :)
If you had a high 70’s First bird score my advice would be to forget the reverse demi and go straight at the tower to push it over as there wouldn’t be much left in the pit to destroy!
Better that then risk a bad RR shot!
@fenikus .. The reverse isn’t easy, in fact, although this is “my” strategy/post, I can’t break 139k today. With regards to needling >70k on 1st shot, that’s not true. As I reread my July post, when scoring just under 142k, I had 61k after the 1st shot. The key for me was that the entire left tower was down (other than small square stones/base) which cleared the way for low reverse shot. For the reverse, it was a low & quick launch. Did you look at my pic cites to see reverse angle in the shot’s background? Those 2 background shots were the best I could do on Android phone. GL
Thanks for the tips, @justpast40…I did get a couple of half-successes with the reversed remi shot but each time the tower is held up by the little sand triangle holding the chain, like in this screen: http://angrybir.de/163owWZ. Does this ever happen to you?
Imagine my surprise when I came to today’s challenge and found I hadn’t even tried this level. Now for my question to @swelld. The first shot through the middle wood…at what point am I hitting the accelerator? Is it a quick blaster or delayed until the last second? I can’t quite get any good results let alone 80k on this shot. I will work on reverse remi when I can master a first shot worth the effort. Anyone else with input would be appreciated.
@mikeinmont, in my experience it doesn’t matter as much when you accelerate as long as you go through the planks with as flat trajectory as possible. Ideally, I want to go through the long thin horizontal plank instead of two thicker pieces of wood sitting on top of it. Two reasons: 1) yellow bird will travel further and hopefully collapse the rightmost structure in the pit, and 2) there is less chance of the top part of the left tower remaining standing, which happens quite often otherwise.
@fenikus. Thanks for quick response. I was trying for the two pieces as I found them an easier target. Just 2 tries at the thin board got me 69k and with a straight on attempt on the second shot as per @traneric instructions and I had my current score. Thanks for quick response. Now I will try a reverse remi.
@mikeinmont , I have found that when I try to enter flat I invariably end up with a YB nestled to the bottom of the top tower. If you notice the structure there is a little gap in the center above the wood pieces. I find a slightly curved arc through the wood works best. I aim at the top of the closest wood block and accelerate when I think the trajectory will hit the junction of the thin plank and the block and then I pray. If the top isn’t cleared *and* at the very least the lower left corner isn’t cleared, I reset. I want at least all but the right side marmosets dead or the score won’t be high enough. Hope that helps.
Here’s a pic of a good first shot and shows why you’d want to topple the tower left instead of right.
http://angrybir.de/1ak0KSI
ty for the strat @justpast40 took a while but then one magic fall, up till then was struggling to get 135000
You are most welcome @windwalker & congrats on the great score !!!
Shot first YB through middle of first section to take out the top and most the middle. Shot boomerang bird as described by @traneric shooting it just above chain without using the power. I’m sure there’s more points to be had in this level. If I knew how to put my final screen shot somewhere I’d show it.
@coffeeking, just click on your name (upper right corner of page), select album, then upload photos. Nice screen name, by the way.! :-)
Thank you @wanda. I did get it figured out after a bit. Hard to see a lot of the stuff that’s available up there on an iPhone. I appreciate it :-)
@drbuilder, can you please share your strategy for your 148510 TopScore?
@justpast40, I just cleared 138,020 with 3 birds, basically using your strategy but missing the reversed remi. I then used white bird to do what the boomerang bird was supposed to do, meaning 148K is definitely possible with your awesome strategy :)
Congrats on your improvement @fenikus & yes, when I looked at the pic you posted that has happened…it’s just 1 of those things that happens when we’re a pixel or so off.
Justpast40 – It’s been a while since I worked on this level. I’ve been trying to recreate, or at least refresh my memory on which strategy I used. So far the best I’ve been able to get is just shy of 140k. Still working on it. I will repost if I figure this out.
149690/2
first bird hit the wood-block over the middle horizontal wood on left side
second reverse, hit the small stone over the first glasses
