This is our walkthrough video for Angry Birds Rio Golden Beachball Eagle Bonus Level #8. The level is unlocked by earning 10 feathers in Golden Beachball. One strategy is to bomb the ice next to the leftmost marmoset, ricocheting the bird into the small wooden blocks at the edge of the level. The stone block should fall onto the TNT below, triggering a massive chain reaction. Bomb the remaining leftmost marmoset and, if necessary, using a Yellow bird to finish off the level. The score in the video below is 140,380.

3 birds for 152410 — This is what I think I did, but haven’t been able to come close a second time:
1st bird higher than video; bomb just barely to left of rowboat. Want to take out plenty of ice as well as marmoset.
2nd bird into center of boat; 3rd bird to finish.
BTW — I like the first shot in video better than mine. Think you might be able to finish in 2 with that 1st shot, but haven’t done it.

I did it a little different. I bombed the ice way before the monkey in the little ship. The ricochet of the white bird took out the dynamite and most of the ship and the little ship with the monkey. Then I did the same thing, bombed more ice and the ricochet took out the far TNT. Then I did a high arc so that the yellow bird goes through the top of the last sail and rolled back to take out some more stuff. One bird left.

@cali_mom your strat worked well for me. For the first shot, I aimed slightly downward and dropped the egg into the second low spot from the left in the waves of water (ice?), and ricocheted through the small vertical piece of wood at the ship’s prow. The second shot I arched upward and dropped the egg in the low spot to the left of the small boat. Third shot like yours. This is a fun level!

Totally different option – aim the first white bird high & release her immediately – hard to explain – but she’ll go high & up over the ship & come down through the rope on the farthest right & then go down through the sand, setting off the TNT & destroying everything on the right side. Use 2nd white bird the same as in walk through. I’m on 156k but think more is possible…good luck :)

@lisa_sams, thanks for the strat. Got up to 151k with a 1 birder using it.

Not sure if this explains it any better, but it’s basically a “Shoot the Moon” with the white bird. Pull the white bird straight down and against the sling shot. Drop egg as soon as you let go. The bird will fly up and over the structure and come down on the far right. See screen cap.

Oh that was a fun method, thanks @lisa_sams! I struggled with this one and finally managed a squeak through 3 star score on my own. Then, came here, read the strats, tried yours and whoosh! Second try I got the right angle. So much easier than what I’d been doing and an 11000 score increase. Thanks!!

1st bird like video and hope the two coconuts end up next to each other on the deck. 2nd bird low arc, dropping the egg on the coconuts (for 10k) and hoping the carcass tears up the rest of the stuff on the deck. 3rd bird high arc through the mast to bring it down, taking out the remaining pig(s) and getting extra debris points.

I’m not able to find the next two bonus rounds. One looks like an apple the other cherries. I go to next on this round which I thought would bring me to the next bonus round and doesn’t. I’ve googled it over and over and just nothing. Am I missing something here? Does anyone know if there is any video or place to put the high score for the last two? Thanks. Sorry, I didn’t know where to write this. Thank you

Matilda1 drop egg just before boat in water, notacarcass1 into sails and drop onto 1st TNT
Matilda2 drop egg on any debris on left hand side of deck, notacarcass2 through sand below middle mast to 2nd TNT
Chuck to kill remaining marmoset, fly just above concrete part of sail to bounce back and drop the sail

I have been using @skowse description. Thanks a lot ;-)

Here are some twists to make it easier.

First Matilda: instead of using Matilda to trigger the TNT, it is best to break the small wood plank above the stone plank. It will then slowly fall onto the TNT while Matilda is busy elsewhere to do some damage. Preferably in the sea of glass. BTW, the egg is dropped in the sea just in front of the small boat.
Around 90k at this point is good.

Second Mathilda: the idea is to break the small structure under the front of the ship. So drop earlier than you would like.

Then Chuck is used just as described.

@asher Thanks for the tip with the second matilda. I never would have considered to destroy the part under the front of the ship. The other shots were as described by Skowse.
I also feel like the marmoset in the lower back of the ship deserves special mention, considering it cost me a puppy no less than three times. It always seems to survive somehow : /

Very similar to the 2nd @comex666 video (thanks!) which I think is the best strategy so far. It seems to be essential for high scores that the ship mast crashes on the glass/ice parts after the first shot (not the second as in the description above).

I just scored 170,960 points with a 2-birder. I was using the same shots as in the second @comex666 video. However,this time, the second shot seemed too low, yet cleared most of the right side. That left 2 birds unused.
