Angry Birds Rio Blossom River Walkthrough Level #15

Wow. I can’t believe I was 91st a few hours ago. I found three tweaks and hit 91st, 44th, 26th, 12th, 5th, 4th, 1st.

Of my two high scores, a @dmsral tip made both possible. Also @bonneypattycat ‘s note on the undamaged raft made me quit trying to blast that stupid thing, which helped lots. :) Credit where credit’s due.

Strategy is similar to video, but like dmsral said, clip the left of the floating platform. You also need the TNT to blow. A 90% reliable way is to break the plank above the hollow wooden block Bird 1 usually hits.

Nicking the floating structure AND hitting the plank requires a low angle shot; as flat as possible while still bumping the floating plank. Speed boost 1 second after launch also helps keep the angle flat. Done right, YB breaks the wood plank and hollow block, which lets the hollow stone block fall harder onto the TNT. Boom.

Shot 2: Aim as low as possible to clear the first structure. At the bottom of the gap after structure #1 are two stone cubes and a wood cube. Drop the egg so it lands directly on the little gap between the cubes.

This method easily gives 122-130k scores. For extra points, tweak Matilda’s angle & egg timing so she bounces off the floating platform and hits the left corner of the far right stone plank. (the stone base under the hollow wood block Bird 1 hits). Hitting the corner topples or destroys the stones, and lets Matilda bounce leftward into any remaining debris.

One last tip: If the TNT doesn’t blow. Don’t reset. If you can pull off the second shot, Matilda will detonate it, and 128k+ scores are still possible.
