Angry Birds Rio Blossom River Walkthrough Level #16

Our strategy for Blossom River Level #16 is to bomb the TNT on the right side of the level with a White bird. Toss the Boomerang bird over the remaining structure, spinning him back through the wooden side and detonating the TNT within. The score in the video below is 157,150.

White bird similar to video, but wait until she is lower before dropping the egg. Want to make sure she gets the barrel, which is 500 points. I generally have 66000 or more after this shot. Once had a little over 70000, but flubbed the 2nd shot.

Then, for 2nd shot, I shot straight out aiming for where the stone blocks meet the bottom wooden bridge on the left side. For me, this is an easier shot then boomeranging back.

Current score using this method is 167700.

@mrshrek I usually don’t like the boomerang bird much because it can be difficult to aim, but here it was such an easy shot that produced such good results, I should have known that Rovio had something up its sleeve. The straight ahead shot increased my score by over 3k points. Thank you, and my apologies for moving ahead of you by using your technique! I always think that’s in bad taste, but sometimes it happens.

@kathy, great score !!

I don’t know if it’s me or if something changed here with the last update, but I can’t get enough damage from #2 using @mrsshrek to even break 163k. I’m consistently getting 68k-69k & the occasional 70k-71k on the 1st shot. When you have a chance could you replay this one & see if anything seems different? TIA

@justpast40 without spending a lot of time I acheived 168440 after only afew flings. is very important to get the barrel on the first shot and theittle tnt. for the second shot rather than aim for the end of wooden plank Aim directly at the corner of the lowest cement block in front of the tnt. with boomer go straight on not reverse.

Thanks @kathy, I’ll keep trying & will aim lower than I had been with shot #2. I’m on iPad, but may switch to old Android phone to see if that makes a difference.

Thanks @mrsshrek for the strategy and @comex666 for the video. It work well to obtain an above average score. Fun level to play. Your tip of activating the white bird at the last moment can produce more points.

@mrshrek followed your strategy after many attempts suddenly there it was, so surprised that I did not take a screen shot, score after first bird was 80K+ after second bird only a couple of bits of debris remaining. Thanks for sharing

@MrsShrek s strategy works great. Got #2 score with it after a dozen tries. Also, if you can’t hit the 2nd shot reliably, try aiming a bit lower. That way if you miss the corner, mr. big beak flies directly into the left of that plank, which can also knock everything out.

Tried a few different methods. What worked best for me was, White Bird high arc to far right side, dropping egg to the right of TNT. Green Bird, semi high arc, over the left structure, and bring it back in low. 166k

Crazy. Two birds used to get 156350 with not all that much debris left. Not sure where I’m going to get the rest of the points to get me above average. Using the @mrsshrek strategy so let’s see how this goes.
