Airfield Chase level 10-2 is a bit challenging. Our strategy is to fire the White bird low, dropping the bomb on the gas cans, and ricocheting into the wooden plank. If done correctly, the whole left tower should be destroyed. Lob the Black bird into the middle of the level, between the second and third towers. After detonation, all that should remain is the right side. Use the two White birds to break the remaining cages. The score in the video below is 127,300.

Bird 1 drops the bomb at the first little gap as if trying to hit the blue gas tank. I don’t think it’s possible to actually squeeze it in there, but if its hits the gap just right (top right corner of the square with the X) you’ll break up the structures on both sides. Make sure enough things fall off to the left to break the red tank.

Put the black bird where the purple cage is. Everythingg will be destroyed.

Clarification… again this is easy and bird 1 is the key, just drop the bomb in the first gap and it will hit the thin beam to the right of the blue gas tank. You’ll know if you hit it right because the beam supporting the left-most structure will break.

Bird 2 on the purple cage.

Thanks bombas238! Couldn’t get close to anything higher than 120,000 then I read this method. Had to try it a few times before I got it right and scored 151,390.

149370. Same way as bombas…

Bird 1 needs to drop her egg on the tip of the skinny metal antenna to the right of the blue gas can (between the first two structures). Aiming for this creates the explosion at the right height to blow up the long horizontal bar holding up the entire first tower.

This is the way I have been doing it. My score kept getting higher an higher so decided to come on here to see if the walkthrough was the way I was doing it then I saw ur way and saw it was exactly what I was doing

A great strat! Thanks much! Will be refining this one later, but it is worth noting that there seems to be a sweet spot in that gap for maximum damage from the egg bomb.

PC Bombas what a great strat. Took awhile but got to 152,990. For PC users I found going low just over the xbox on the first tower gave the damage needed…get rid of all birds, gas cans, drums to the left. Tried for awhile staying low got to 154,140. Moving on. Thanks again Bombas.

I found that dropping the first bird’s egg between the second and third towers clears most of the middle. The blackbird placed nicely on the first cage in the right hand group gets rid of the right side plus extra points for more destruction of stone. The second white bird aimed low and dropping egg on fuel can and taking out plank clears the level with 130k plus.
