Poached Eggs level 2-7 is a bit challenging. Our strategy is to fire the first Yellow bird head-on into the left tower. The bridge should be noticeably unstable as a result. Then lob the next Yellow bird into the wooden blocks supporting the bridge, causing it to cave inward. The score in the video below is 51,110.
Version 2022:
Highscores > 54000 can only be achieved via 1-birder. Keep on trying to shoot on first and/or second stone left under the wood. But I doubt an > 67K score…would be nice if all highscore guys would post a comment.
A lot of scores over over 60, several over 64, tops are likely chrome.
Aiming at the upper left stone blocks as you describe let me score a 1-birder. It takes a fair amount of luck, as the planks tend to plug the gap instead of falling through. I have no idea how someone achieved 67K – I just didn’t see how that much collateral damage can occur in what turns out to be a slow motion collapse.
I got a one birdie on my iPad, I took a lot of tries, but it’s possible :)
Here’s the video
Videos are great. Use iPad w/iPad,iPhone,chrome versions-not sure if it makes a difference, but after playing 3 days with not one 1B shot, watched your video several times, switched to chrome and upped my score 7K in 45 min. Back to iPhone version and got a 1B. Hmmmm, must be your video. Thanks E-Star
You are welcome @john44 sometimes it works to walk away (or in your case switching devices) or watching a video of the strat can help. I am just glad I could be off assistance!
I don’t play AB in Chrome because the scores are not allowed in the leaderboards here at the Nest (due to Chrome being easier to get a higher score, so not a fair game for the rest of the players) and I think seeing the scores of Chrome would make going back to my iDevices that much harder for me ;p
Chrome is mentioned in comments under several games. Did not know chrome not allowed. I will back this score down to iPad 60480. Fortunately, this is the only chrome score I have. Thanks for the rule clarification.
@john44 I just looked it up in the FAQ’s and I believe I made an mistake. I thought Chrome wasn’t allowed across all AB games, but it appears it only applies to AB Seasons, which is my game of choice. My apologies and sorry for the confusion! Wish I had the knowledge of @AMslimfordy ;)
Kind of you to follow-up E-Star. Thanks
Thx @emider and @e-star I used your tips and start and got 59270! I have yet to break 60k but I’m getting there!
@emider Thanks for the tip about hitting the top stone on the left. Increased the score about 1K.
61500 with bombing the 1st stone for half an hour.
I’m playing on an android, the KEY to this level is patience! You must wait before you launch your second bird. A total cave in is possible, leaving three unused, bonus birds. First bird hits top small block head-on, wait for your total cave in.
It’s possible all right, the only way to get above average. The blocking wood is really annoying, requires the L-factor for it to cave-in. Thanks sunshine, great strat!
This one bird solution is very repeatable, you can aim your first yellow to the top stone block like sunshine and also slightly lower. But basically aim for that area that includes both top and middle stone block.
And wait until everything caves in.
Thank You Sunshine, I play on an android too. You are right about patience, I waited for a few seconds and got a total cave in. I am going to try a few more and hope for a 1 birder and higher score.
@sunshine, thanks for suggestion about waiting. I’m too am on Android & when hitting between 1st & 2nd stones just below wood, then waiting for debris to fall I improved my below average 3* to about 5700 above average.
@justpast40 congrats! Nice score! ;)
Really dislike this level – took forever, but hit the top left stone block, right in the middle just after accelerating and finally it fell, very slowly – Sunshine’s right you will need lots of patience……… Don’t think I’ll be coming back to this one.
another one-birdie with much patient and thx to video of e-star
Strategies for eagle destruction on Chrome:
– Try to clear all the stuff into the center, then clear the debris that fell off with your last birds. Then put the can at the bottom left part of the “canyon” (if you can).
was this level the same from version 1
because i think i had played this level but there was no bomb bird in my opinion. i maybe wrong
I believe so, I remember what a pain it was back then. :D
Another, slightly easier one-bird strategy: lob the YB and when it comes down, accelerate it right into the junction of the left and middle horizontal planks. With some luck it will make the entire structure cave in.
I got 62110 after several tries!
Going back trying to increase my score to be above the average. This is one difficult level and I could wait forever and won’t get an eventual collapse. The first shot takes out the top square stone and the second yellow is always ineffective. Not sure how I’m going to beat 56,000.
Beat 56,000 and then some. Used the brute force method: Fired and accelerated the first yellow into the top stone square on the left upright. It pushes everything toward the middle and then collapses to destroy the 2 pigs below. If you don’t get the collapse, start over until you do. It only took me about 15 attempts this time to get the 1-bird solution. 30,070 in damage points plus the 3 bird bonus.
I finally got the 1-Birder shown by e-star after about 50 attempts, but I think that I should do a better score than what I got, so I’ll try again.
So by patience r u guys saying to smoke that top block and wait to see if they’re gonna fall or stay calm and keep trying cause I’m pretty sure I’m on attemp 9000 by trying the latter…
This place rocks btw, I got three stars in every ABs game… Gonna take me hours and hours to get em all in, lol
Patience is important. Aim/target points are critical. Luck is the kicker. Try more upward angle by quick tap right after release. Get UNDER the wood enough to pop it up. Hitting the upright at the top will sometimes cause the top two blocks to fall inward-shifting the weight toward center. Chances are better when YB lands INSIDE left. Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
This one has obviously been changed in one of the last releases. The level was never easy and it seems to be even harder now to get the 1-birder with the standard method described above. So I tried the obvious – direct attack from above – and had several 1-birders within 15 minutes. This was not possible previously because the wooden bar slowed down the bird too much. I did not yet find the best aiming point, after starting steeply the bird at least has to come down somewhere between the left stone wall and the pig. I could easily improve my score (though not very impressive), due to the minor robustness of the wooden pieces there are some extra points here.
Maybe this level could be added to the list (ABO – Levels worth another try).
@bonneypattycat
Help! I tried 1000’s of times this level, and no success. Stuck at 52k without luck for 1-birders.
Luckily i confirm top score is beatable, but 70k is, al least for 1-birders, actually impossible.
That means the score cap it’s at 68k
Finally! Found the 1-birder way. Aim to the small gap between stones (a bit to the left for speeding). 56420
59300*
I did get a 1-birder, great fun to figure out thanks to general comments.
@sweetP However, I got error messages on both walkthrough and @e-star video.
@patz, I didn’t get any error messages while viewing @e-star‘s video or writing this comment. Have you tried clearing/deleting your browser history? Maybe that might help.
For the challenge today I have to agree with @anton249. I came in from the top and had several 63k and 64k results. I had several other 1 birders but usually in the 58-59k area.
from top like my video with 64660:
https://youtu.be/97ALs96TxrU
So according to the leaderboard, over a thousand players here got that insanely lucky one-birder
Wild
an extremely rare level where I can’t even get close to Average. what the heck is this xd
