The best strategy for Poached Eggs level 2-4 is to fire the Yellow bird into the top-left structure. Then loft the Blue bird over that structure and into the ice blocks beyond. The stones will release, roll down the slope, and pop the pigs at the bottom. The score in the video below is 50,390.
Version 2022:
Aiming your y/b at the corner formed by the leftmost vertical and horizontal planks takes out a few more blocks in the upper structure, adding a few K to your score at best. Getting a boulder or two to roll all the way to the left after crashing through the bad piggies also helped boost my score a tad, but that seemed more luck than anything I did with aiming.
I did find an alternate, more difficult, less reliable and lower scoring 1-bird method by blasting through just the small “house” holding the little pig, letting the y/b dribble out to the right, falling down and rolling to the left. This leaves most of the blocks on top undamaged (and non-scoring), so I don’t recommend it.
64340 score. 1 bird shot. Extremely difficult I.e. 100s of tries. Aim bird to glance off of top ice boulder, ricocheting down to break ice structure holding the boulders. The glancing shot will also topple the structure and kill the pig plus rain down wood and ice for the boulders to destroy.
Who has more than 51480 on this level? Well, you’re better than Rovio. :) http://www.facebook.com/angrybirds/posts/379101112142034
Sorry, 54180…
Basically the same as AMslimfordy’s video above. Thank AMslimfordy.
I know the only way to crack the top top 50 here is get that lucky 1 bird kill.. Well I’ve been back to this level so many times now I finally gave up for that 1 bird kill. I finally, (barely) cracked the top 100 with a 2 bird score of 58860. I decided to abandon the 1 bird approach by ricocheting the yellow bird off the top structure and getting both the pig on top and getting the boulders to roll down and finish. Instead I kept shooting the yellow bird low into the top structure to break it up as much as possible. Then shoot the blue bird and split it into the top debris to destroy as much as possible and carry into the boulders and get them rolling down. Seems like 1000s of resets, I’m done here. Good Luck.
@pjdambra, it actually looks like you guessed wrong, as to my astonishment I just scored 60,890 with two birds. It was quite lucky, as I was stuck on 54k before, but it can be done. I fired the yellow bird into the lower horizontal wooden plank of the first structure, and this time it just happened to send most of the wood tumbling rightwards over the edge in front of the pigs. I then happened to get the shot with the blue birds just right, wiping out every ice cube on the top while releasing the boulders. The boulders fell in quite a fortunate way, as for once they rolled nicely over the top of the annoyingly-still-present blue birds, destroyed all of the wood and ice pieces that had fallen over the edge, and wiped out all of the pigs. They were also moving fast enough that they earned a lot of points from crashing against each other and the ground. I believe that only the four boulders and one wood piece on the top were left on the screen.
Nice score. Congrats ..
I totally recommend your method. I couldn’t one bird this map too. But I two-birded it with 60,120, which makes me pretty happy :)
What tip can i give here…Hmm i got one.
When you shoot the Blues, try to make one destroy the glass left on the bridge, and remaining two go release the boulders. All four boulders should roll down even if it’s not needed it gives lot of more points.
It happened to me as well @austinrhl, I got 61050 using 2 birds with just 2 pieces of wood left.
Strategies for eagle destruction on Chrome:
– This one is IMO a bit difficult but I found a good strategy. Use all the birds to clear the wood/ice structure and land the can at the bottom of the slant up to your (now destroyed) structure. The odd bounce should lead it right to the boulders.
Just got 58,870 using the one bird method(did it on the Facebook version but did not use any power ups). Took quite a bit of tries but my motivating factor was getting the Gold Crown. =)
never managed to shoot at full force through the top structure on ios (ipad2), but noticed that one can get a 1-birder by soft-lobbing the yellow bird such that the apex of its trajectory is somewhere between the top and leftmost glass blocks of the top structure. accelerate to miss both glass blocks (otherwise the bird won’t make it to the boulders), through the `house’ killing the pig (directly or by material falling on top of it), to the glass holding the boulders, destroying it, releasing the boulders. here’s a picture showing a possible trajectory (minor variations possible; e.g. the right part of the top structure can also be taken out causing the pig to fall down; i do find the shot to be quite tricky).
http://angrybir.de/153PGwl
as is clear from (the scores in) the picture didn’t get the boulders to roll down in a nice way yet, but that should be matter of time…
wow! this is really a tough level! fling fling fling-persistence! & having yellow roll over top to kill 1 bird below worked for me. after many attempts i began to reset if, after 1st bird points were below 13-15k.
57,170 on first try !! Strategy : put debris and the blues on the rocks’ way : it will give you thousands of bonus points !
If you got 57k @zackvoyager, how come your score put in is 54k?
Very repeatable 1 bird strategy. Aim at the lower horizontal wood plank, accelerate right after launch. YB goes thru the plank killing top pig and continues into the ice that is holding the boulders. Boulders roll down killing last 3 pigs. Sometimes the boulders get hung up on YB or on each other. 60-65k scores maybe more with a bit of luck.
@gumby I think you may have found another level where higher scores are easier.
Yellow through the middle horizontal wood – in my case it hit & destroyed the small ice square then acted as a fulcrum, rolling the ice plank & then the boulders down the slope.
The boulders often do get stopped, but sometimes they all roll through. Took about 15 min to go from 57k to 65k. Thank you :)
@karen68 you are very welcome, I am sure with this start many peeps are gonna improve on this level
@karen68 is right, this level is easier than it once was and will be added to
The List https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/forums/topic/abo-levels-worth-another-try/
Hi @gumby! Many thanks for the tip. I have to say that I still found this level really really tough. Only 1 in 10-15 shots got through to the glass supporting the rocks, and then mostly only the glass block broke, allowing a single rock to roll down. And when that did happen the rocks didn’t get the 3 pigs because they blocked each other. Then when I did manage to kill the 3 pigs, the score was still only 60-61K. Agghhhh! But finally, after more than an hour of trying and countless flings, it all came together, to give me 4th place on the leaderboard. So thank you VERY much!! I’d never have tried so hard if it wasn’t for your tip :))
@peejaydee27 I’m happy that I could help :)
Revisited for the challenge. Hit horizontal planks as described before, but boost at the very last minute. It seems that this is a combo of pixel perfect aiming and an element of L-factor for good measure. Have played this shot many hundreds of times today, and once in a while YB does his “knife-through-butter” trick. When this happens at the right angle, it gives 17-18K at the point he hits the glass supporting the boulders. Anything less than 17K it’s probably worth resetting to get higher scores. But even then lots of things will go wrong and spoil the end result. So it’s repeat repeat repeat – patience and persistence.

The @gumby strat is not easy, but as he says, very repeatable. However, it doesn’t work with the old version on my PC. So yes, @karen68 is correct (as usual) about this being one of the levels that was made easier.
@sweetp same strategy I mention above.

@gumby I’m Gumby By Gum!gonna try now
one-birder, activate as late as possible.
target is the double-horizontal-wood in the middle.
bird destroyed almost everything and fly to the glass on right side.
boulder rolls and kill the pigs.
thx to all for the tips.

Congrats @comex666! You make it look so easy – but it is definitely not an easy shot. I was able to raise my score to 60k by sending Chuck through the lower horizontal plank but had to also send the blues over to finish off the long glass piece under the rocks – so two bird for that. I did get him to go through the wood and on to destroy both glass bits a few times but either the two right most boulders stayed in place and didn’t roll down or Mr. Chuck must be on the Piggie Payroll because often he would roll down and stop the boulders from pushing the last two pigs over the edge below. Now that I’m done whining I’ll get back to the game. Enjoy puppy number 85 (I think). LOL
@comex666 Thank you for posting your video for this level. After about an hour of following it I finally got a score worth a puppy in today’s challenge.

Wow, first Challenge back after the Advent levels & we’ve got a puppy parade going!
Thanks @comex666 for the great video.
Through the middle horizontal wood into the glass on the right.

@sweetp
Thanks for the great video @comex666 and congrats on a fantastic shot. Love seeing how easy it looks when you hit the “sweet spot”. I was using the same strat but was activating slightly earlier. An extra 3K with the later activation.

Like everybody else, following great video from @comex666, to the plank in the middle activating at the last moment. Sounds easy, but took a couple of hours. @sweetp – my screenshot https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/annach/album/picture/17466/
Mean game, very mean game.
Followed @comex666 his video (many thanks pal). But… That last pig refused to get killed.

Ok, persistence paid off. Or should I say the whining helped.

Just like @comex666 ‘s video. My only problem was that I looked at the high score to beat and thought it was 68,820 instead of 66,820 so getting a puppy score was more difficult that it should have been.
@sweetp for the underdog https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/stocktoad/album/picture/17451/
Followed @comex666 video.Had few close call where last pig refused to die until finally everything came together.

I had not realized that normal challenge had started again. I had a look at Daily Challenge at bed time, to see that an easy puppy was on reach. 10 minutes later, following @comex666‘s description, I made it.
