Finally got it with one bird to place me above average. The shot was slightly lower than the vid.
That’s why I love this game, some many levels that can be revisited :D
I had no idea that this could actually be done in one bird, score was stuck on 28k and increased to 37k in an instant. Unbelievable, Thanks sal! :D
Thanks Sal
Yes, thanks Sal! I did it in 1 bird and thought, “My! why is this so high of a score for the triple star?” There’s the answer. :)
Thank youb@sal9! Helped a Lot!! :)
You’ll need to hit the vertical block of ice on the spot that’s in line of the horizontal bolck of concrete.
Success (almost) garanteed
Agreed. All you need to do is hit it in exactly the right spot. Like most levels in Angry Birds, that’s easier said than done. Following your advice did give me a 5K boost on this level.
Thanks for pointing out the exact target point. I found aiming at the left edge of the sloped wooden plank (exactly on a level with the horizontal stone plank that you suggest) gave me a slightly easier target. The key seems to be driving that wooden plank into the large wooden block and forcing the entire structure to topple slowly to the right for the 1 bird solution.
A bit late to the party, but i just started to play the HD game. More of a Season’s kind a girl.
@ GFish: I did it the same way :)
Here the video of how i did it.
PS: Kind a strange to see all the comments are from 2012! Everybody started to comment just the last month or is it a bug?
New individual videos were made.
The Old Walkthrough Page had 5 levels per pge ;)
Welcome back E-star! Actually, walkthrough pages from PE to BS had 5 levels in one page. They decided to create new pages to break it down for convenience. The old pages with old methods could still be found on the site.
Thanks Kartflyer, glad to be here :|)
Also thanks Sal9 and Kartflyer for clearing up that mystery!
Thx estar your vids are extremely helpful!!!
Your video was a great help. I have been loosing a little hope in getting over average on some of these levels due to Facebook and other formats knocking everyone down. Thanks again.
Thanks estar 37050 using this method.
Admins appreciate your splitting up the videos into single games much easier to navigate.
I have had to return to AB as I have beaten all of the averages in space so now back here to top the AB averages. Lots of flinging required to get this done.
Interesting the differences in the version.
I found that if you zoom all the way back so the whole scene is in frame when you pull back the slingshot line up the very edge of reds white belly with the edge of the purple mountain in the background you’ll nearly always hit the right spot for the 1 birder. It worked for me.. HAPPY FLINGING!
@gfish, thank you for tip, read your post and increased my score by 8k.
SilentSniper’s score is over 2k over the top score and seems a little weirdly high. Did he verify by a screenshot or is it not legit?
Yep, I’d have that score audited. The blocks just don’t break, there’s no way. Unless you used power ups on facebook. I got 46k on that, but I don’t post that score on this board.
Edit: I just noticed that those 42k scores were done on PC, which is different from mine. Perhaps PC has a significant advantage on this level.
Red Devil has confirmed the scores.
Power ups, and still can barely get roughly that high. 41k.
Line up the left eye of the red bird with the right bottom branch of the tree. This aids in obtaining the one bird solution mentioned above. Adjust you launch over the width of the branch.
Tips on eagle destruction on Chrome:
– 1 shot like level 3 works. Lob it into the top of the left vertical bottom glass and hope to knock it down and take It out with mighty.
– For an easier method, destroy a bunch of the glass and put the can on the wood for another wipeout.
I aimed a little lower than the video above and got a one-birder! I got 37560.
My video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYvrrwEOtZY&feature=plcp
you can also smash through the very left end of the glass and the glass will tip over without the bird hitting it. now bump into the wood.
Thank you for the tip. Boosted my score by a long shot :)
Shoot the first red bird at the glass located closest to the birds. Shoot the 2nd red bird towards the center of the closest wooden plank resluting in the wooden and stone block to drop on top of the pigs
Alternative 1-birder strat: Now there’s a little hill before the structure.
Simply aim Red downward to roll into it. He will use hill as a springboard, easily push the construction. 37-38K nearly always, small potential to 40K.
@mp127 Nice find! Thank you!
Wow impressed, how did you find that. First try broke my longstanding lousy record. Rank 300.A few more tries and up to 39K. Thanks.
Interesting to notice that in the hole tread there is only one comment before from a slinger with more than 39K. Did the rest with 40K+ keep silent about the hill or is it new?
It is there since Version 5.1 (Flock Favorites part 2), just checked it with installations on my old phones. I didn’t notice this either, the small ramp is very well hidden. Great find indeed!
Another idea – instead of rolling the bird up the hill, aim him directly at the tip of it. If done right, he should keep more momentum, and fly directly towards the stone structure, which may result in more damage. It’s noticeably harder and less consistent than the first method though.
hmm doesn’t seem to work at all, not even close, and there’s so many different angles to do it
I got 30,120 with two birds, one on the diagonal ice block, second in the wood “corner”
Yeah, 1 bird shot with the hill methode, got 37,060 on second try ! :D
40310/1 with reduced power shot to top left corner (read it somewhere i think; can’t remember where). 39k+ frequent. some potential for more (say up to 42k) also with this.
