1-5 is driving me NUTS on my iPod. I’ve got the 1st bird hitting the tower in exactly the same spot & that damn rock stops just ABOVE the 2 big pigs EVERY time. Is there something I’m missing or is there a diff strategy for an iPod? HELLLLLLLLLLLLLP!!!!!

Tommyt, due to the version 1.6.0 1-5 has now glass below the three pigs just give it a try on the glass

I’m having the exact same issue on episode 1-5. I cannot get the big rock to fall to the bottom 2 pigs, and I’m also hitting the rock in the exact spot as on this video.

I can only get two stars also. What is your high score on 1-5? I have 63220 so I’m guessing we need keep trying until more boards get broken for a few more points to get 3 stars.

1-5 here is kind of a freak accident. Just hit the horizontal piece of wood in front so that it breaks. That got me three stars way easier than the way this video shows

Fire the bird almost straight up so it hits the bottom piece of wood, thats how i got it

Why are my levels different than these. All the levels on Poached eggs look nothing like this stuff. Droid Incredible.

That shouldn’t be the case, as far as I’m aware all levels are the same across platforms except maybe the different free versions.

PROBABLY not. On Droid phones the only small difference in a level is level five. The segments below the stone on iOS are wood, whereas the segments on Droid phones are glass. There are other small differences between iOS and Droid throughout other levels too. I think thats what he is referring to.

I have finally done this level!. It was nearly impossible!

i’ve been doing this one for about 3 hours now and i hit the exact spot each time the big rock stops just above the two big pig and one time i did it but no 3 stars and it really annoying me now any other ways to complete this level and get 3 stars!!!????

You need to hit the vertical slabs high enough that the Red Bird lands first on the wood. This will cause a slight amount of damage, resulting in the stone breaking through to crush the pigs.

Hi, just re-visiting some old levels and it looks like Poached Eggs Level 1-4 might have a typo (52k top score, 38k next highest).
Keep up the good work :)

On level 1-5. Took a few tries but got same way as vid. Try not pulling the bird back all the way, you want it so he doesnt hit the wall at full force.

I don’t know if this a new change, or not, but level 1-5 is different on my android phone vs. my netbook. Same number of birds, but the horizontal wooden planks (as seen in the video), are glass pieces on my phone. I don’t know if the scoring is any different.

Yes wanda. This level (along with a few others) were changed slightly in the v1.6.0 update. We are working on getting new videos up ASAP.

Known effected levels: 1-5, 1-12, 2-12, 3-5, 3-6. For more details, check out our forum post on the matter.

My sling does not pull back completely on level 3.5 and frequently the birds just flutter to the ground. I have not had this problem on other levels. Do I need to reload?

On 1-4 I got 36900 with one bird. Hit it at the same height as the horizontal stone block. Got it within a few tries.

Yes, in my opinion thats the only way to make a one-birder, means a decent score.

Set me straight here. Level 1.5 on my PC version(1.6.3.1) has wood as shown in the video. I’ve seen glass on the Google Chrome version, and on a friends hand held device.

WHAT? is is suppose to be for each version, device, whatever?

Yeah there’s a few levels out there that are a little inconsistent between mobile and Mac/PC. We have a preliminary list, but are still working on it.

On the other hand, we have two videos for 3-5 on this page: One is ice, one is wood. So you should be all set.

I don’t have problem. Just the inconsistencies.
1-5 on PC score is 70130, in Google Chrome it’s 72180, in Google + it’s 71130.
And Why did you mention 3.5, when this thread is about 1-1 through 1-5 ?
Ah well, it’s only a game. Can’t expect Rovio to maintain a consistent experience between devices.

Ah, sorry. 3-5 is the biggest inconsistency we have found, but yes 1-5 is indeed off.

As is 1-1. No grey block in PC version, and from what I see of the video not for some of the hand held devices either. BUt all of the Google versions have it.

how is it that people are getting 36000s on level 1-1 and im barely even at 33000? ive been trying that level so many times yet i cant seem to get anything higher? is there a secret or something to getting higher scores on that level?

The high scores like 36,000 on level 1-1 and other stuff are probably from Google +, but i could be wrong :)

1-5 is really hard to 3-star. I’m flinging at the outermost glass and inner wood at the top of each and still no luck. I am PO’d.

For iOS (i… Operating System) you have to get lucky and get the wood to break in one shot, and even luckier to get the rest to fall.
