Angry Birds Flock Favorites Level 29-3 Walkthrough

One strategy for Angry Birds Flock Favorites Level 29-3 is to send matilda at the base of the right tower, and drop the egg bomb before impact. Then send Stella towards the first tower, and trigger the bubbles upon impact. The score in the video below is 78,670.

Fire Matilda low, drop egg left of the net. The beach ball bounces and lands on the right structure, collapsing it. Fire Stella at midpoint of left structure to finish.

@kelani, ROGER That. The beach ball destroying debris and parts of the structures is key to higher scores. Too bad you cannot control or influence its motion. You just must trust to luck.

@Kelani, I’m having a little trouble getting that beachball to collapse the right structure, but it sure is funny when it bounces on the piggie’s head and see her tongue sticking out! LOL

I had more luck sending Matilda in a high arc to the right of the net. Her carcass breaks up the right structure well and I was less reliant on the beach ball to cause damage (although obviously it’s great when it does!).

I feel like the right number of lucky bounces could give you a one-birder, but although I’ve been close a few times, I haven’t managed it yet.

A slight variation to @Kelani‘s strategy above. Instead of flinging Matilda low over the “lifeguard” tower to drop the egg, I used a high arc and dropping the egg so that her carcass pushes the beachball into the right structure.

Then finishing with Stella to the mid-point of the lifeguard tower.

That sort of worked. I got it to knock out the right tower, leaving the pig under the net wounded but vulnerable. then using Stella the way in the original video to destroy the lifeguard’s chair and drop debris on the remaining pig.

87760/2 by @kelani ‘s strategy in @sweetp ‘s variation (high instead of flat arc). was throwing the 1st bird with its belly almost touching the sling, releasing its egg such that the beach ball is sent forcefully, horizontally taking the rightmost structure down (in combination with the carcass). hope that beach ball hits the right structure twice (going right, left, right; but it shouldn’t bring the left structure/pig down). in the (typical) situation that one pig in the middle survives, a good score after the 1st is 38k+ (this is not infrequent). then send the 2nd bird straight to the spot just above the small square wooden block on the barrel, stopping it short just left of the horizontal wooden block.

got my 87760 score after 41k after the 1st (with 2 pigs alive, and left structure untouched) with a good 2nd, but more damage possible after the 1st, so 90k reachable i think.

I used a medium arc, dropping the egg very close to the net, sending the ball high. Ball came down between pole and referee. Second bird the same as everyone else. 85k at the moment. Though I got a decent score this way, it did take quite a few tries. I am thinking there is a better way…

I found a slightly different strat that worked better for me. High arc Matilda and drop the bomb just to the RIGHT of the cage. Rebounded Matilda goes into the life guard tower. It is better if it goes into the tower itself rather than the stones in front of it. Usually those will fall down later and get the rightmost pig on the ground. If everything works out OK, you wind up with the two leftmost pigs left, and often the one on the ground has rolled to the base of the left structure. The second shot is just like to mock a mockingbird’s shot. Thanks, that one is a great one! I almost got over 88K with this strat…there was one badly damaged piggie left with a score of 83K. Then I blew the next shot.

Oops, correction! It WOULD have been 88K+ if the piggie died. I had 63K+ after the second shot.

Oh, and the beach ball isn’t too important with this strat, though it helps a bit!

I have been using @sweetp variation on @Kelani‘s strategy.

The trick here is to make the ball go horizontally to the wood block that is sticking out so it bounces back and forth to maximize the destruction.

Here is the trajectory with the release point.

You can get as high as 50k here (with only one pig remaining). I even got a few one-birders like this almost 88k one.

If you are above 47k with the left structure still intact, you have a go at a 87k+ score just with Stella doing the cleaning part.

Here are the resulting damages for my best score.

And the highscore screenshot.

Hope it helps.

91830 with 2 birds!

1st bird sent high arc as described above by @vuelva and @asher. My luck was that the bird hit a second time the ball in the area of the right structure leading to significant damage there and leaving the left structure unchanged. My score was at this stage 52k if I remember well

2nd bird sent in direction of the little square wood piece on the bottom and manually inflated upon impact.

I guess 2/3k points more are feasible with a bit more luck.

I’d like to claim this is pure talent but high scores pretty much depend on luck on this level.

Btw, congrats on your amazing ranking on all the other AB worlds, out of my reach I’m afraid. You will soon fight for the top 1 with @vuelva

great score @angry-birds-addictive

wrt the fight you mention: there’s none as the notion of top 1 is an empty notion imo.

see my contribution (of august 2nd 2013) on page 7 of the comments section for abo. my experiment as reported on there, showed that playing on a computer gives a different game due to taking hand-eye coordination largely out of the equation, enabling exact repetition even of reduced power shots nearly impossible to perform with your fingers on a tablet, yielding higher scores. i did this indirectly by showing that taking automation one step further into an ab-playing program would be another game changer, yielding higher scores yet again. hence just like @asher then wrote that scores obtained by an AB-playing program are meaningless to him, i then concluded that scores obtained by computer players like e.g. him or carlosfagr are meaningless to me.

so it didn’t and doesn’t make sense for me to try to compete with computer players (or phone players for that matter; i’m in no position to judge on whether or not their scores are amazing; probably only excellent multi-platform players could say something meaningful about the relative merits of scores obtained on the different platforms).

My previous strat worked OK but I couldn’t get past 87K with it. So I went back to the high loft similar to @Asher @sweetp @kelani strat. However, the desired trajectory for the beach ball was different. In this case, the best scenario is for the ball to go up and hit the right tower hard, and hit the rising Matilda carcass on the rebound, causing it to hit the right tower again. Sometimes you can get TWO rebounds off of Matilda. This is not as hard to replicate as it seems, I got the single rebound off of Matilda a bunch of times. In the case of my 90K score, I had nearly 50K after the first shot with the left side structure intact. I then picked up the standard 20K by aiming Stella at the small square block on the left side. Aiming tip for the first shot: Aim high, with just a few pixels of sea between Matilda and the sling base.

I just scored 93,160 points by using the same two bird strategy as previously stated. Somehow,I seemed to get the same “significant damage” that @angry-birds-addict wrote about. The middle area was cleared and nearly everything on the right platform was destroyed by Matilda’s deflated body & the beach ball. This yielded just under 53,000 points.
The left side was left untouched. Following the previous postings,I sent Stella slightly over the barrel, directly at the small wood block, activating her just as she made contact. When everything came crashing down,I had 73,160 points.
Two birds were unused, giving me 93,160 points & another puppy.
