Like the video, but aim as high and late as possible. That helps the birds break the glass plank below and detonate the TNT, while pushing the tower over a bit more forcefully.

That is what works best for me. I split late, with the top bird hitting the two small glass cubes on top, the two lower birds the top would block.

Alternatively, potential for higher scores by aiming for two small ice blocks, splitting late – flying debris from delayed explosion(s) should compound destruction for some lucky flinger.

@comex666 excellent score, but why post a screenshot just showing it, and not the strategy? (see the second paragraph on top of every walkthrough page; that it’s a 1-birder is clear; same for 29-12)

thank you for the strats! (but will try them only after my holidays)

(in general i myself usually do not post screenshots just showing the high score with the level, because these are not really helpful to others. they mainly serve to prove that you’ve gotten the score, but that’s mostly a matter of the admins, e.g. in case of the daily challenge. in your case, having gotten many top scores already and the scores being well within bounds, there’s no reason for doubting the scores, at least not from me).

@comex666, congrats on your score. I had quite a bit of trouble getting an above average score & would like to add to @vuelva (to mock a mockingbird) regarding pic post. What I would find helpful would be a pic showing the trajectory & release point for your score. I understand many flingers often do not realize they have the #1 spot until it’s too late to snap the pic, but perhaps recreating the shot to post with a comment that the trajectory/release/damage is similar could benefit those of us still struggling.

Has anyone seen a self-destruct here? I’m almost certain that when I first played this level that the middle tower leant and fell to the right. I had already fired the first bird. Not seen it since but I think it’s there.

Dear @steviep147, I can confirm the self desruct. Middle tower fell to the right. Took about 20 sec. Result: 52190, both TNT did NOT explode => no advantage.

@steviep147, @Emider, @carpentrix — Any estimates on frequency? What platform are you using? Just tried 50 restarts on iPad, saw some swaying, but nothing close to collapse.

I’m on IOS. My score wasn’t achieved with the self-destruct. I have only seen that the one time. Just keep doing it as per the video, maybe varying the impact point, and I’m sure you’ll get those extra points. Maybe you’ll get the self-destruct!

This is what worked best for me:

Aim above the horizontal stone plate, split late so that the lower bird breaks the thick glass plank (but not the thin one!). The effect of the broken glass is that the stone planks on top of the middle tower don’t topple over to far and fall directly on the right structure for maximum damage. The remaining thin glass should lift the stone plank beneath to make it topple one left TNT.

Here is the result, still some blocks left for higher score:

@sreviep147 Thanks for the video again! I don’t think average is possible anymore? I can’t see any changes that might have been made because this is my first time here!
I wonder @admins Are the boards automatically calculated when average gets lower or higher? or anyone who might know the answer? like shouldn’t the average go down if many lower scores are entered, or did Slim adjust it manually back in the day?

oops Mistype @Steviep147 , Well the Episode may be long over and done But I’m happy to report the Powah of the Post is still alive and kicking! No sooner than I posted I got above average 😎
Same first shot but the pig in the corner on the left side near the wall Hung in there bruised and battered, I was about to reset and something must have fell on him, i didn’t see, the arrow came and the level ended, surprised to see my score made just above average!

@kathy, the average score is automatically calculated by the total (cumulative) score in a level, divided by the number of scores entered in the leaderboard. Hope that makes sense!

Thanks @Sweetp yep that explains it, I know how to calculate averages, just wasn’t sure if it was on an’Automatic’ type thingie lol! Slim hasb been gone for a long time and, heck that woulda been a lot of work everyday anyway, just a dumb question!

I’ve tried for about an hour and I’ve had one 124k and several 123ks. It’s May of course be possible to get a puppy but I think since the excellent high scores were made that the architecture of the level has changed to make it very difficult. GL
