In the video below, @Birdleader shows you how to unlock the Arena, and how to succeed in the daily tournaments.
The Angry Birds 2 Arena is a daily tournament in which you compete against 14 other players across the world. Arena levels are endless, with the objective to win bird feathers and advance through the leagues (from Vanilla to Diamond).

no matter how bad I do, I always end up getting 1st for some reason
I don’t always finish in first. I would say half the time I do. The first time it happened, the leader had a score about 3 times higher than mine. I thought he was disqualified for cheating. But the second place guy was within 100K of me and I still got first place.
Yesterday I finished ninth after being in the lead for most of the tournament. I didn’t check the standings later in the day, but it seemed unusual that 8 last minute entries were better than mine.
@birdmeister There is a problem with the arena leaderboards. Rovio is investigating.
Thanks @sal9. Seems odd that something as simple would get messed up in a world wide release.
@birdmelster I don’t know what it is, but I LOVE it!
sorry, I meant to say @birdmeister
Thanks BL for the video on the arena level. Just started to play and finally made it to level 25 and the arena level.
How does one view the amount of feathers awarded for each bird? Is there a summary page that includes all the birds and the “Today’s Reward” bird and their feathers?
@wrw01 – On the main level selection screen, there is an icon at the lower right that looks like a deck of cards. tap that, and you will see how many feathers toward the next rank each of your birds is at.
Each rank requires an increasing amount of feathers
Vanilla -> Bronze = 100 feathers,
Bronze->Silver = an additional 250 feathers
Silver->Gold = 550 more
Gold->Azure = 950
Azure->Emerald = 1400
Emerald->Amethyst = 1600
Amethyst->Diamond = 1800
Thanks to @mighty-red-1 for the higher ranking numbers, as I just reached gold for all birds this morning.
Thank You @burbman for the assistance. Will print is page out for future reference.
The arena scoring/winner board is a farce. Many times I have a score less than first place, only to get first place after it ends. And there have been times when I have checked my scores, and I have been in first place by as much as 250K inside of an hour left, and wound up in 6th place as a result. I don’t mind losing if I truly get beaten, but this doesn’t lead to much confidence in things doing it this way.
Yesterday my arena tournament stopped loading with message check you internet connection, I have Internet connection. Rebooted iPad Air still no internet connection only on arena section of angry birds2. Help please?
I have also seen connection errors and times when I was awarded first place, after last knowing I was in at sixth place or say tenth. It is rather constant. Hope there is a fix
The Arena is totally rigged. I noticed this in the original version of the arena. I could rank low but in the top ten, and then when the competition was over, I’d win a very high rank. Like I could come in 5th, and then I would win over other “players” that had much higher scores than me. Those “players” were fakes, Rovio put them in the game to entice you to pay for freemiums to get another chance to defeat them.
Now with the new arena, it’s even worser. I routinely see other players of equal rank outscore me on the first shot, even though I have obliterated every single pig and brick. There is no possible way to get a higher score than me, but they get double my score.
Even worse are some of the competitions that are obviously faked. Just the other day I noticed I was actually winning. The other player only had about 170k points while I had about twice that score. On my next three shots, the fake competitor score stayed exactly the same. Then on the fourth shot, suddenly their score shot up to over 2 million, about double my score.
I think I’m through with this faked game. Rovio manipulates the Arena to make you think you’re competing. But it is all a sham. Rovio gives you fake opponents that are unbeatable, then about 1 time out of 20 you are given a faked opponent with a low score and you can beat that one.
How can I link my newly made account in the Nest with my on going arena account on angry birds 2
