If you’ve been following our Angry Birds Rumors page you know that there are a ton of updates coming very soon. I wanted to quickly break down what we might see over the next month or so. Ready? Set! A hing it! ← If you get that reference you truly are addicted.
Note, these are not listed in any specific order, nor are these updates guaranteed (snags happen).
- The next Angry Bird original update called Mine And Dine has submitted to Apple so it should be arriving on your iOS device anytime. Unclear about when it will be delivered to other devices. I would assume Android will drop around the same time.
- Angry Birds Rio for Mac update has been submitted to Apple as well (this actually happened a couple weeks ago), so we should see it in the Mac AppStore soon. We’re honestly not sure what the hang up is.
- An Angry Birds Seasons update should be out this month or in early July. What will be the next theme? The speculation has been that it will be a summer theme, possibly revolving around the juhannus or a mix of summer celebrations.
- Angry Birds Rio Episode 4 (post-Beach Volley) might be in June (emphasize might = no guarantees). It was originally slated for July.
- Angry Birds PC v1.5.3 update should be out anytime. I’m unclear how this update process works exactly, especially for those who purchased through Intel AppUp, but then installed the standalone version. If you have insight on this please leave a comment.
- Angry Birds Chrome should see new levels “in a few weeks”
- Angry Birds Seasons for PC. No ETA for this one, though it is listed on download.angrybirds.com.
- Angry Birds Rio update for WebOS (Pre only for now) “really soon”

what’s the word on ME for Rio?

Codebreak is referring to the storyline of Rio. As in, how could Nigel possibly capture the Mighty Eagle? I think (if to keep the storyline) ME will just come to help out.
Codebreak, Angry Birds Rio may not have Mighty Eagle at all. Just 5 Angry Birds, Blu and Jewel
Rio will indeed have the Mighty Eagle. Rovio has confirmed this.

I think all Android updates from now on will have a short period of exclusivity on Amazon AppStore before hitting the Android Marketplace.

Just that its an active project that Rovio is working hard towards. Still no ETA.
Also, Rovio posted that Android will have achievements like iOS eventually.

Angry Birds Rio update for Mac delayed
“Due to technical issues, we have had to postpone the release of the first update for Angry Birds Rio in the Mac App Store. We had already submitted the update and everything looked fine and dandy, but new bugs were discovered at the last minute preventing release.
We sincerely apologize to all our fans who have been waiting for this update – we did everything we could to take the update out according to schedule, but couldn’t make it happen. Right now, we’re fixing the critical bugs, and will deliver the update as soon as possible!”

The Intel AppUp updates are pretty easy; however, there is currently no AB update to be had. Here’s how you check:
– Launch the Intel AppUp Center
– Click on the ‘My Apps’ tab
– Click on the ‘Available Updates’ bar to expand it to a list of updates
– Click on the app name to apply the update to that app
It’s been so long since the last update that I can’t remember the next steps, but I will add more info once the update appears.

What i don’t like is Apple gets everything first, Android too….What’s this?! The updates should be released at the same time for Symbian too….
Updates are submitted to Apple, Amazon, and OviStore (and webOS when re-teched) simultaneously
Let me add that one more thing. iOS users are not always the first. The May Rio update was released for almost all platforms about a week before iOS users received the update.

Rovio Tweeted today that the WebOS update has been submitted. Unclear if this means Rio or the original, but rest assured, webOS is not forgotten.

hey people, I Have angry birds on pc (version 1.5.2) and i took a look in the graphics an soundbites an i found some pictures and sounds of the mighty eagle!?!

The technology for the Mighty Eagle exists within Mac/PC, but it has not been unleashed yet. It will at some point.

i bought the p.c version of angry birds from the angry birds website and i do not have mine and dine and ham em high. is there another update? how do i update it?

In original Angry Birds Golden Eggs -page, in the right-low corner there is that red bird, and above it there is two question marks. Right? I think it should give some kind of tips about how to find golden eggs. On my phone it doesn’t show me anything, and I can’t even see those golden eggs wich I haven’t found so far. Isn’t it usually that way, that those eggs wich I haven’t found are black, and there is some kind of picture about that where that egg might be. Why my phone doesn’t show them??
Sorry no, those question marks aren’t a help button and I don’t think any egg hint appears for ones you haven’t found. Thats what WE are here for. Follow the link to find any eggs you’re missing.
OK, but why my frieds phone (N8) shows them? For example, he has one black egg, and in it there is picture of three stars. When he press that egg, that red bird in the corner tells to him (in a cloud), that to unlock this egg, he have to get three stars in all Ham ’em High -levels. So why he then have those tips?
Ps. I have found all 23 golden eggs, four of them I found by reading this site and its tips. (I’m Symbian user, so I can’t yet unlock the 24:th golden egg…)
Only a small handful (the first five eggs that came preloaded I believe) are shadowed out. Otherwise, all eggs are hidden.

We don’t even know of this is “when”. I haven’t seen any confirmation of this plan, though Rovio has alluded to it.
