A surprise Angry Birds Rio update — v1.2.0 — is now available for iOS devices (a big thanks to codebreak for being the first to let us know)! I presume other devices will be updating soon. This update — formerly labeled “July” — wasn’t slated to be released for another few weeks, or so Rovio said on Twitter. We’ve broken down what is included in this update below. Our 3 star and papaya walkthroughs are now live!
Quick update. Carnival Upheaval is now available for US Android users via the Amazon AppStore and is also showing up for Nokia users in the Ovi Store.

As far as we know it’s only out for iOS right now. If you have iPhone/iPad then check your updates in AppStore. It should be on Amazon AppStore very soon and on Android Market a few days later

Soooo I’m a little irritated at the moment. My mom, sister, and I went out to dinner tonight, and they both asked me if I got through all of the new angry birds yet. Normally they have to ask me for help.

Has anybody else noticed that at the end of the trailer of the carnvial update theres’s a random tugboat from the beach volley????!!! (bottom right corner at the end of trailer) Wierd huh?
There’s a sailboat on the left as well….. Either odd, mysterious, or lazy.
It might have been directing attention to Beach Volley and the cameo it makes in this episode. I am meaning the beach floats that I have seen.
Have any ideas whats going to happen in story line ending of Angry Birds Rio 8-15? Anyone, please rely. My idea is Jewel happy to see Blu, Red, Blue and Yellow Bird rescucing her out of cage, then its time fight Nigel and the monkeys or get the other birds out of their cages.
I think the next world might be in a plane where you rescue birds like in World 1 (Smugglers’ Den)!
Thank you for the rely gordonwan. For that idea, this is what I think for the story line ending Angry Birds Rio 8-15. When Blu, Red Bird, Blue Bird and Yellow Bird got through the monkeys, they found where Nigel caged Jewel with the other birds. Blu and The Angry Birds spring into action freeing the birds and Jewel once more.
To tell what might happen next we need to ask someone who has seen the movie and can tell what happens next. But I think that your idea might be the next level! It makes so much sense!
Thank you for the reply. Well Codebreak, I did see Rio The Movie. Most parts of Angry Birds Rio and Rio the movie have the same scene in it. The same as, Blu (Nico, Pedro and Rafael) going through the Carnival to save Jewel inside the (hen animal) ven, but when get her out, Blu (Nico, Pedro and Rafael) was/were attack by Nigel locking him back to the cage sad with Jewel. But after ven put the birds into the plane and flew away, Blu escape from the cage using a (?), get Jewel and the birds out and face Nigel hard. Want more from the movie Rio, reply to me which scene you want know and more ideas story line 8-15 ending
So all in all world 9 & 10 could be on a plane?
Um who is ven and what could be the next 2 places? Are there any new enemy’s that could apper and replace the monkeys? Also when is the monkey leader going to be defeated? I saw him in a clip.
Codebreak, world 9,10 could be in a plane. The ven is not a who, a it. The next 2 places could be what I said (June 11, 2011 at 6:15am). What do you mean apper and new enemy replace the monkeys, can’t be sure. The monkey leader may not be shown on the game. And which clip did you saw monkey leader?
One more thing Codebreak, the ven (a it) is where the smugglers bring all the birds are caged (and Jewel)then put them all on the plane. Got it?

I guess that means that those of us who don’t live in the states have to wait another whole week from today.
I mean I get that people who pay for it should get it first, but come up with a way for the rest of the world to pay for it too. I’d gladly pay for an ad-free version, but I’m not allowed to. That’s pretty sad on both Rovio and Amazon
I heard that Amazon is working on making its Appstore international. Also, I would imagine when Rovio gets the Bad Piggy Bank working, you could buy the ad-free that way too.

I just remembered that there is supposed to be a ABS update. So how is that update coming along?
We think it’s still slated for end of the month or beginning of July. Haven’t heard anything new.
Unfortunately Codebreak, Chillingo is a separate company and have no idea what they do with their other games.

quick question…or help really, in the jungle escape I have all but one banana, I got them all before but deleted the game and bought the game to get the beach folley update. well since I had to redo it, I can’t find one banana. I have gone thru all the levels, looked online and all the ones that I find, are ones that I already got. Is there some chance that there might be a possible glitch? I have 3 stars and fruit on all the levels just looking for that one.

Some people have reported this issue. First, go through our list of bananas. If the banana is in a labeled box, but your box is no longer labeled, break it anyways. In particular, some people have reported that breaking the once-but-no-longer-labeled box in 14-4 has helped.
Also, you do not have to uninstall the app to get updates. Just choose to update through your AppStore and your progress will remain.
I wasn’t sure at first because when they said it was out I was still waiting for the update on my side for a week before I uninstalled then re-installed. I have gone thru your videos already…this is where I come when I need help :) there is no box in 14-4, that one has the banana on a chain. I will try to redo them though. Thanks for the response. And if I can’t find that one? Then I will always be 14/15? crappy…lol

I have Angry Birds Rio. The Carnival Upheaval loaded to my iPad several weeks ago. I had played up to the last level. Now even though my scores show on the “menu” when I try to play this segment is says “coming soon” I had that level and now it is gone…why?

I have all the Angry Birds. Just weird that I somehow got World 8 for about a month and now it is gone, but the game statistics for World 8 are still on my iPad

I had Carnival Upheavel 8 until a few days ago. It downloaded to my iPad in early June. I had played all of it but the last segment. The statistics show on my iPad but won’t let me play anymore, just says “Coming Soon.” They must have accidentally released it and then some how killed it off

When is the Carnival Upheval update available for Mac? There were set dates on the blank episode sections, but now it just says ‘Coming Soon’ after the Beach Volley update. Any idea when it’s coming round? :3
Also, when is the next update for original Angry Birds for Mac? My friend has the game on Android and has an episode I don’t. When will Mac users get the level Mine and Dine? Sorry for my many questions… :S
No problem regarding all the questions, that’s what we’re here for. That said, unfortunately I don’t have a lot of insight as to when the next updates for Mac will be released. Hopefully soon. PC is waiting as well.

OK so when do the new levels get released for Android? Seems like its been a month now!!
The release for iOS and Android (via Amazon) was yesterday, so the Android Market release will likely be next week. It is my understanding that the “exclusivity” contract with Amazon applies only to Rio and history says it lasts about 1 week

PC is still capped at Beach Volley but an update is expected soon.
