    I have a 5 year old wanting to complete his set of AB Star Wars Telepods. The The past few months we have repeatedly searched Toys R Us in OKC, Denver and Norman OK for the Heroes vs Villains pack but it’s been sold out. I really don’t want to pay more than $40 for the 4 exclusive birds he needs from that set on ebay or amazon. I did see you can order them from Canada, but I’ve had real bad luck getting things from up there in the past.

    Anywho, this past weekend we noticed a Boba Fett at the local Walmart along with Mace Windu in a 2 pack. Since he didn’t have Boba yet, we snatched it up. At the time there were 3 other 2 packs that had Boba in them. When we grabbed our one, I thought it was a little odd too see Boba in a 2 pack because we hadn’t seen him this entire time anywhere and we’ve been looking for around 3 months at various places. After a quick googling last night, I found out how scarce Boba is, or has been so far. I went by Walmart again today and grabbed the other 2 remaining (one had been sold).

    Now, what I’d like to do if anyone is interested, is trade one of the Boba Fett’s for my sons missing birds. I would even take used ones if they still scan in and are in good shape. The Boba’s I have are new and sealed in 2 packs, one with Luke Skywalker (Jedi) and one with Anakin (Sith Apprentice). My son is missing the 4 exclusive birds from the Heroes vs Villains set, TIE Fighter Pilot (black) from the Death Star Trench Run, and Biker Scout (white) from Endor Chase. Do any of you have extras of these or access to any or all? If so, and you’re still needing Boba, I will gladly swap you for one. Leave me a reply or message if interested! Thanks!

    @okiendn Great topic. I don’t have any to trade (I wish), but I am looking for some of the same ones you are. I know @wrw01 has a nice collection of Telepods, so he might have some advice or may be open to bartering.

    As a side note, does anyone know if there is a complete list of ABSW 2 Telepods? Does each character on our Angry Birds Star Wars II Character Guide have a Telepod? Are there any characters listed there that don’t have a corresponding Telepod?

    I have a telepod for each character on the list except for the new 2-Series characters of Kit Fisto Bird and Shock Trooper Pig. These two are going to be released in the two pack sets but have not seen them in the stores nor on Ebay. Dr. Omega mentioned that he also read this on Facebook in a response from Rovio. The other six 2-Series characters have been released in a set called Rebels vs Villains which includes Jabba the Hutt Pig, Lando Calrissian Bird, Wicket W.Warrick Bird, Royal Guard Pig, Tusken Raider Pig and Han Solo Bird (in Carbonite). The RvsV sets are selling from $10.00-40.00 on Ebay, depending on the bidding process. Caution to all: do not get these new telepods mixed up with Series-2 toys. These are not telepods. Rovio and Hasbro placed the “2” before the word “Series” on the telepod toys. Most sellers on Ebay will mention a Series 2 toy is not a telepod.

    I do not have any extras of the 4 exclusive telepods (C-3PO Bird silver, Battle Droid pig, Shadow Trooper pig and Emperor Palatine Pig) that came in the Heroes vs Villains set. That set sold for at least $29.99 retail plus tax (7-9% where I live). It also costs at least $10.00-15.00 to ship USPS due to its size. Given $10-40 in gas a person may have used to find it in the store, etc., one for 60.00-80.00 with free shipping might be reasonable. There is one for sale on ebay presently for $75.00 with free shipping. These sets are becoming harder to find as the weeks go by. Yes I have seen them online for sale at Toys or Us in Canada but there are some problems getting TuR to ship them to the states.
    There is a vendor from Britain who sells these telepods separately for 10-16.00 US each plus shipping but have not noticed his listings in the last two weeks.
    I paid $39.99 plus $10.00 in shipping for mine back on 1/5/14 but there were many posted on ebay at that time and it was competitive pricing. For some a 5-10 profit was acceptable. I think now, a month later it is a different story.
    My suggestion is to type in a search on ebay for these sets and save the search. Check the search each day and you might get lucky. Make searches for each of the four telepods you are looking for also as well as the set.

    Also I only have one each of these, TIE Fighter Pilot (black) from the Death Star Trench Run and Biker Scout (white) from Endor Chase. I have noticed that some of these sets are going at a very reasonable price on ebay. Also kmart and walmart in my area have placed all the telepod sets on sale, most are gone. Target is still selling for MSRP. Target also is selling the sets through their on line store. Getting these two telepods separately may be a challenge because they were exclusives. Might be cheaper just to find the best price for the set and sell the extras for a $1-2 plus shipping on ebay. That way you can get some money back on your purchase. Just a thought.

    I tend to agree with the assessment that the cost of gas makes this worth shelling out for. I went to every Toys r Us within fifty miles and got nothing. I got lucky to have my sister find 5. On principle I had her buy all 5. You can sell the extra Boba Fetts to pay for it. My advice would be to do it before the costs go up

    Thanks for all the advice folks. Guess I’ll toss the Boba/Luke and Boba/Anakin on ebay this weekend and see what happens. If anyone has an extra Heroes vs Villains that they’d want to swap give me a shout.
