Officially retired Epic yesterday. The grind in the arena was the last straw. Too much randomness (and my own bad luck) in building epic sets was the precursor. I hoped early on that the map would expand but it didn’t. I got to lvl 61.

At the end of it, this game was greedy, buggy, and thumbed its nose at you.

It’s been a fun few years Rovio, and I will continue to play your better games. But not this one.

Hahaha! Though many feel the same way, that obsessive competitive streak and the tasty but unfulfilling new scraps of meat tossed out to players in a game that started and evolved in interesting but flawed ways has hooked many otherwise intelligent folk. After a couple of years we may have invested too much and become the suckers PT Barnum spoke of ;)
