Nightscape issue

I hope Rovio visits this site, cuz they could learn a lot from the players here. An occasional blip I experience since the last update is when I load the App, the terrain is completely dark, with the various levels showing their recharging status bubbles. At first I thought this was a nighttime scenario (which would be kinda cool, if it worked) but nothing responded. This has also happened within a level, and though I tried to kind of guess and played the screen blindly, literally, it eventually quit.

This has only occurred a few times, so not a big deal for me, but am wondering if others have experienced it. I am using an iPad, btw.
