It’s lasers, not lazar.

Old spellings, hidden within the oldest dictionaries, spell it as “lazer“, with a “z” instead of an “s”. Silly proper (*cough* old English Britian *gag*) English came into literature to “correct” American-style grammer by changing most of the words (similar to adding a “u” to certain words, such as “colour“, when said letter isn’t even pronounced) with the letter “z” into an “s”, like “memorize” into “memorise“, which evidently sparks debate over the word spelling in said regions. I’m no scholar of the English language, or a scholar in general, but dialect corrections should not be this controversial.

Now the Oxford comma (phew!) is a totally different story which can wait for another time. I’m done.

Wow it seems all this talk about correct spelling is sure more fun than looking at someone’s ABT character collection! Didn’t mean to offend anybody, but in our competitive world today we take simple spellings of a word against one another to prove who is more literate. Its just ridiculously serious apparently.
