Going for Gold Event

Just barely slipped into 1st place today, AND made it to the 100,000 point level.

It took two recharges, but worth it for the tokens.

Not that I really needed to – plenty of time over the four days to get all the tokens I want.

But it’s a long weekend in Canada, so I’d like to get this event done with in the least amount of time possible, and just put away my iPad for the rest of the holiday.

Day 2, missiles, has expected token levels:

1. 100 @ 1000 (x) – Tot: 100

3. 150 @ 5000 (5x) – Tot: 350

Clearly is missile day first 4 runs and had 3 in Pig City. It always amazes me how the randomness of levels always seems to have a majority of Pig City runs on missile day.

With 475 % from Ratchet and UM ( x4 ) I will easy get needed tokens without spending effort for leaderboard. Already collect all sparks from first day and 4-th place. Will be easy to reach 1000 tokens every day with this bonus. I will need also two accessories for Grimlock,  it as I see points I will have them tomorrow by the end of the day. Interesting question what could we get for next event that should start after this one. Probably will be connected with 4-th of July.

whats the maximum to promote TF? i see we can promote from 105 to 110% now? is this new?

New yes, but not sure when.  I was caught off guard as well.

@joeyba Now you can promote to 140%. This is maximum at this moment. After 105% you need to add 500 sparks for every step – 3500 for 110% … 6500 for 140%. From 105 to 140% you will need 35 000 sparks. This is after update 1.28….

Although I don’t have a picture of it, I just had an encounter with Unicron Pig in a Pig City run, which is fortunate because there were very few missles, but I finally able to completely defeat Unicron (drain his lifeforce bar down to zero) in who knows how long it has been since I last defeated Unicron. I was using Energon Grimlock, and I got almost 8,000 points from the run after my 230% promotion bonus was applied.

@asen You have a 475% promotion bonus, and it was the gold block challenge, of you’re going to get the score you got. What I got is big news for me because it has been so long since I last defeated Unicron. I just wish it happened during an event for a Transformer that I haven’t unlocked yet because I still have four Transformers left to acquire, and, knowing Rovio/Exient’s pattern of creating new characters lately, for me, that number is going to increase before it decreases.

P.S. How did you get a 475% bonus? Without using any of the bonus squad members, I think that the most you can get for a promotion bonus in this event 280%.

@datguygamer Both of my bots for this event are currently at amethyst promotion level 2, which gives me 230% promotion bonus, and neither one is a bonus squad member.

@jimmy-necessary In the back of the pictures is Ultimate Megatron – he is x4 Promoted for this event. Mine UM is 85%. Also my Ratchet is 135%. So total 475%. Without recharge I already reached 100k with this percentage. Tomorrow will collect two needed accessories. Already collected all sparks and need only 650 sparks for last level for Ratchet. So after tomorrow he will be 140%.

@jimmy-necessary Never happened when we need for a new bot unfortunately. But I don’t care. Till now for the last few bots I have to spend some gems to get him and I don’t mind. I have only 4 promoted bots and till now I don’t need anyone else. My most important is already purple crown, so now I will continue with next one. Just need to add last 4 levels to UM and he will become Gold Crown, after that I will continue on my plan for all others to be promoted to Purple Crown. Probably till then there will come another new promotion levels, so for now there is a long term plan for ABT. I am not spending any gems on this promotions or any upgrades of bots.

@datguygamer No. I’m not convinced yet that overpower is worth it and I’m not spending gems to get it.

@millforce2k Okay, I understand but as a player who has been overpowering since the concept was introduced, I can say that it is worth it; definitely. Bots who get health bonuses like Heatwave and Sentinel Prime become tanks. A direct hit from a falling monolith doesn’t even take half a heart’s worth of damage at Level 25. The main downside are the prices.
