Below is our gameplay walkthrough that will help you beat Angry Birds Epic Islands in the Sky Level 1 with 3 stars. Islands in the Sky level 1 opens up as you continue towards the King Pig’s Castle.

Are the items that Chuck’s wearing set items?
I chose Samurai Red, Berserk Bomb and Rainbird Chuck to complete this level.
Try not to use Matilda as a healing character unless Matilda has gain the Princess class. Instead, use Rainbird Chuck since you’ll need to remove the poison effect ASAP.
Samurai Red’s attack might not be effective in the first wave but it’s painful for the last two. Also you’ll need armor ability in the second wave, though the Ice Pigmies have certain chance to remove your shield.
In the first wave, get rid of Pigmies first, Knight later. Be sure your chili is ready when first wave ends. In the second wave, activate Bomb’s rage ability, then remove those minions first. Don’t worry about the passive ability. You can heal your birds later. Also make sure your Chili is ready for next round. In the final wave, unleash Red’s rage ability first then quickly store up the chili energy ASAP. Use Chuck healing ability to remove the poison effect. It’s impossible to finish this wave without letting the Banshee summon allies, so store up the chili for Bomb’s exploding.
This strategy is only useful if you have not beaten the stage for once. Once the stage is beaten, enemies lineup may re-arranged.

Bomb-Berserker
Blues-Spies
Matilda’s items-Wok o’ Whonk and Honey Jar
Bomb’s items-Funnel Gun and Crinkly map
Blues’ items-Straw Bow and Hearts
just target the smaller enemies first then heal up and kill the knight
be sure to be full health for second wave
Attack smaller pigs then the big one
Heal every time you have the chance for but remember to use matilda’s attack as well
Have full rage chili for the last wave
Use Rage on Blues and whonk with Matilda and Bomb
Use potions if needed (i didnt need any)
