One strategy for Season’s Greedings level 1-12 is to fire the Yellow bird just above the second boulder to clear the thin stone block out of the way. Fire the White bird to bomb between the first two boulders, causing them to fall onto the first pair of pigs and the bird to ricochet into the stones above the level. Sit back and watch the level defeat itself. The score in the video is 79,470.

For those having problems beating the average (which is now 5000 higher) with the video method here’s something different.

YB: aim low to kill the leftmost two pigs down. Shoot straight down accelerate immediately
Egg Bird: low arc that clears the 2nd tower by 1cm and ignite when in the middle over the vertikal wood plank

falling boulders do the rest – that yields 85000 within 10 minutes

Trying to improve some of my old Seasons scores and on this level I found this method posted by @happyshake to be the most easily repeatable. My scores this way are usually around 85k, although my best so far is 89,790.

Thank you @happyshake. Other than a very very very rare Challenge, I don’t think I’ve looked at these Seasons Greedings in years & it’s with the Challenge for 1-4 last night that I noticed on my Leaderboard I was below average on this & 1-25 …. I guess after all these years that’s not too bad. Being a die-hard Seasons Addict, I had to better my score, after all what self respecting 3 1/2 yr ABN member could ignore the below average score?

It took some doing as for some reason, I initially read the 1st shot “straight down” to mean that I need to shoot up to then shoot straight down, but that certainly was not what you meant, although doing so can get 14k with both pigs. Coming thru the snow on the left however to get those same 2 pigs consistently got me a tad under 17.5k. I was only about 900 from an above average score, so that 3k makes a huge difference. The 2nd shot took some doing & I came so very close to 88k, but I missed it (flubbed the shot) & eventually managed 85780 on my iPad vs the 83320 on my Android phone, but based on some iPad vs Android play on 1-4, I think I’ll come back to this one again with Android, not iPad.

For those struggling with putting the two shots together, it’s not necessary to get the first low bird with the first shot. More often than not, the post-partum WB will bounce back and get it.

I shot my first bird to the boulders on the far right. Hit them just right and the right side will blow up… does take a bunch of tries though. White bird took out the left piggies, one bird left. I got 89560 after many tries :D

Thank you @e-star for your video. Worked great but took a number of shots to get the 3 large stones to fall correctly with the first yellow bird so it gets the tnt and all the pigs except the two on the left. Found that if I activated the YB just prior to impact it seemed to hit the “sweet spot” more often. About 1 in 20 tries. Gained 2k in points.

@vonnie1962 Great score, i see no post on which strategy you used, not sure if you are still active, but 3k above 2nd @newcybroon , and 4k above @moonsabre just doesn’t seem possible without Power up,?
