The general strategy for Season’s Greedings level 1-10 is to fire the Red bird just below to the first boulder, causing it to fall and pop the pigs below. Arc the first Yellow bird just below the next two boulders, popping the pig in the middle of the structure. The last shot is the trickiest: Arc the Yellow bird through the final boulder, but not smoothly. Have the bird hit either another bird or the bottom of the boulder, so it loses momentum. This way, the bird will pop the presents below for some bonus points. The score in the video is 58,470.

I basically followed the walkthrough, but the second boulder on the second bird didn’t drop all the way, but it fell far enough that I was able to nick the top of it, while going through the snowblock under the last top boulder. With both boulders falling at the same time, the one one the right was knocked over to take out all the presents in the side.

I was totally in shock when I realized that I had a top three score.

I used almost the same strat as the video on top, but my 3rd bird I sent in a lower arc, thru the present (collecting 3k extra) and got 65330!

Lucky 66340 on iPad, an improvement of almost 6.5 k from Android phone with @e-star. The 3k for that present is the difference between Top 50 (for now ) & #205 +/-. Thanks e-star.

I was hoping we’d hear from either #1 or #2 as those scores are so much higher than #3, but it looks like neither been here in over a month. Fortunately, @hoy49 is still with us; see below.

Thanks @e-star ,your vid helped alot ,they are always great :) ,i managed a few scores over 65k ,and when i got my current score of 69220 i actually missed the second shot and the second boulder only fell a short way ,so i did much like @doctonynyc describes hitting the top of the second boulder and the bird then hit the bottom of the third top boulder ,now somehow i ended up with 3 boulders rolling of to the right ,not yet come close to replicating ,so my highest score was without the first present . ty again ,back to it ..Good luck all

@xebic88 Nice improvement! and great to see you hopping in Seasons again, love the Challenge train, cause I get to see many of my friends I haven’t seen in a while, but my rank always drops and the comments always make me wanna go back and try it for myself. If only I wasn’t so OCD and want to stick to my plan to stick to the revisit. Currently in Piglantis and the waters aren’t agreeing with me upon the second time around :p

This level is extremely frustrating!! Every time you toss the first bird you get a different score even if the same exact snow blocks are gone! It’s too weird and reminds me too much like the stacked wood levels only in white! Hate that I’m going to have to come back after a rest to do it again!! :(((

Frustrating level indeed! I managed finally to get 56k when the last Chuck dropped straight down in the last column while the top right boulder rolled down to get the presents.

Came back for the challenge today. I had a top 50 score already so I knew it would be hard to improve. I read all the comments and started following @e-star video. Everything fell into place and I got my higher score. I don’t remember doing anything different just a lot of attempts. TY @e-star I always know your videos will help me.

@hoy49 Congratulations on the great score, and thanks for posting how you achieved it, this is a very frustrating level ! I’m here on a revisit to this episode after losing progress a couple years back, this is the last episode I’ve got to complete, and No, it was not a save the best for last lol,, quite the opposite!
I appreciate that some with the higher scores part, as there are so many who don’t. Hope you are well and thanks again: D

I was working on this level just last week in my quest for score addict in Season’s Greedings. Thankfully I didn’t devote SO much time to it that I’m starting out ready to throw the phone at the wall. I also have much growing room left. That said, this is one of my least favorite releases across all of AB world. For some reason most of my worst ranks are here. (Rolling up sleeves.) Good luck, all!

Ok, NOW I’m irritated. More destruction equals fewer points? In whose world? Mine apparently. When I got all three top boulders to destroy the whole center section of snow blocks, in addition to all pigs and EVERY wrapped present I got 58,000. When I had only two boulders do damage, leaving behind quite a bit of snow…62,000. Go figure. Not a fan, my friends, but then, after reading other comments, I see I’m not alone.

My score is coming up slowly but steadily. I am repeating the same set of 3 flings over and over. At least I am getting SOMEWHERE unlike yesterday’s struggle with ABO Big Setup 9-9

This is one of those levels I call a RSL (repeating-score level). I’m not going to explain what that is and why it’s bad here, but suffice it to say, after about 150 attempts, or if you notice you’re getting the same score (any score) more than twice, whichever comes first, close the game, and re-open it.

@maiasatara Really? Hmm.. If you stumble across any mentions of this elsewhere, (and think of it) can you please send me a PM? I’m trying to document all the levels with score-affecting weirdness, and non-random repeating scores are about as weird as it gets!
