With just two days until the Angry Birds Space launch Rovio has released the official trailer. The Angry Birds are nurturing their precious eggs when a portal opens up in the blue sky above. Sensing trouble, the Angry Birds abandon their eggs (or do they take them with?), load into their trusty slingshot, and fearlessly fling into the portal — transporting them to a galaxy far far away.
Interesting tidbit, this is the first Angry Birds trailer that I’ve seen carry the ESRB rating of E for Everyone. I may be wrong, but it definitely caught my eye.

Likewise, but my dilemma is this: I now have ABo, ABR, and ABS on Android, PC and iPad. When AB:Space comes out it will now be 4 apps across 3 platforms. I am now so hopelessly behind in everything AB it can be truly said that I am an official AB addict in dire need of well, SOMETHING. I’m not exactly sure what that is, but hey, since it’s all AB, what a happy problem to have… :-)
I’m in a similar boat :). I have the games on my PC, Kindle Fire and my Android phone. I will be so glad when the Angry Birds Sync (or Bird Brains :) ) is available. It is a very happy problem, though!
I went crazy when I saw the ESRB at the beginning of the video.

This is the first time that I saw a Angry Birds YouTube video that had a ESRB rating.
I’m surprised this didn’t have the “Mild Cartoon Violence” content descriptor.
Its more of Comic Mischief then the Mild Cartoon Violence
Definition of Comic Mischief: Depictions or dialogue involving slapstick or suggestive humor
Definition of Cartoon Violence: Violent actions involving cartoon-like situations and characters. May include violence where a character is unharmed after the action has been inflicted
I’d say it would be more of a Mild Cartoon Violence sort of thing, rather that comic mischief. Then again, it could also be Mild Fantasy Violence: Violent actions of a fantasy nature, involving human or non-human characters in situations easily distinguishable from real life

They said that the game will be launched with new merchandise. Any word on what that could be?

I called Walmart [Port Angeles, WA] to see if they would get any merchandise for the GRAND launching of the Space game on the 22nd. They said as soon as the M&M’s promo was over, around the 25th our Angry Birds will have some GOODEEZE!! WEEEEEEE ;o))
We KNOW we can’t wait!!! I would like the space tee. And man, the game looks like a gas!!! Hope for the PC it’s still only $5 download. No smart-phone/pad etc..
At the very least, I would expect new plushies at Walmart, etc. The ABOS tees should also be available soon.

No one knows yet… I doubt it though. According to a chart amazon has (Not showing it because they said a bad word about one of the birds.) The White and Boomerang birds are the least favorite. However the orange bird is a favorite but it is too new to use. And we all know the Mighty Eagle will come eventually.

Quick question, do the admins chose what type of comments get moderated or does some system do it for you and then one of the admins have to moderate it?
Most is automated. If a user has never had an approved comment, they are set for moderation by default. Also, if anyone posts a comment with more than 1 link, it is set for moderation by default. These are major spam defenses.
Of course, if a trusted user posts a comment with more than 1 link, we approve it as soon as we see it. But it is a necessary feature.
I think that mabey they will have the mighty eagle but the fish will have to have a space suit so it wont flot away

I think it means that Rovio will launch ABiS merchandise in Walmart, but i couldn’t understand the T-Mobile part.

So, by going into the portal,
Red bird—-morphed into the red one with those cool glasses.
Big Brother bird——-morphed into the green version of himself.
Black bird——-morphed into the one with the necklace.
Blue bird——changed into themselves with the red caps and horns.
Yellow bird——–changed into purple Lazer bird.
So who changed into the Ice bird? Was it the globe bird?
The ice bird is an alien, who joins the AB to save his planet. Ref. Daily guide to ABOS (I think).
Ice Bird is completely new. Not morphed.
I think the ice bird lives in the episode called cold cuts.
I’ve read before…(maybe in the ABoS guide or maybe here) that ice bird is an alien bird join the angry birds to save eggsteroid planet….maybe i’m wrong…

Since ice bird is an alien, he does not need to go through the portal (worm hole). He joins the other birds once they are in space (see comments above and the Daily’s guide, if you can get it –It’s free if you have access to the Daily — which is also free initially).

The only thing I can complain about in Angry Birds Space so far is the fact that Big Bro is green. I really don’t know why that bothers me, my favorite color is green, but it does. Oh well, looks awesome anyway!

The black hole is rather strange in colour…great video, though!
It’s not a black hole, it’s a portal, or worm-hole. Black holes might make their appearance in one of the future releases.
Why didn’t Rovio upload Official Trailer of Angry Birds Space in 1080p (Full HD)? Strange as all their latest uploads are in 1080p, be it gameplay trailer, animation teaser and full animation (Seasons).

They don’t release the time the update comes out. Finland is UTC+2.
