Gosh, I posted the Jona Lewie comment without seeing Brian’s comment. We actually agree on something.

You could do a lot worse than Stop The Cavalry by Jona Lewie. At least it has a point. But I don’t really like any of them. In my opinion, the best ever Xmas number one was Mad World by Gary Jules (2003), which I would say is one of the best cover versions of all time. But not a Xmas song.
