@skrble With AdAway I use their standard files in combination with the Easylist file (from AdBlock Plus) and AdBlock’s file for local advertisers. AdAway lets you add as many subscription files as you want. Once in a while I’ll enable root and push a button for AdAway to update and merge all of the sources again.

@skrble My concerns are mostly that third party apps phone home with my personal information. A firewall can address that for a lot of stuff – I simply block everything that has no legitimate need for an internet connection. That includes Rovio games.
