    So sorry to hear that @kathy. I hope Rovio pushed a fix for this issue soon so you and @ixan57 can get back to flinging! I will let you know if/when mine starts crashing again.

    Miracle of miracles…  I may be counting chickens (or birds) before they  hatch, but  an ABO update came out 2 days ago and now ABS is working normally again. Coincidence? At this point I think not, but perhaps it is just a Thanksgiving miracle!

    @kathy @ixan57 mine was ok for a while also, but it started crashing again last week. It seems to have started after Rovio pushed an update for ABO. I can’t say for sure there is a connection, but I seem to remember the same type of thing happening last time.

    Thanks for your reply @SweetP. It had been working fine for a while and just started crashing again on Tuesday, and I. If I remember correctly, it started working last time after Rovio pushed an update for ABO. I find it very coincidental that it stopped working right after they pushed another ABO update. Of course, maybe I was just lucky that it was working at all.

    @kathy Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you. Lol.  Kidding… curious though – had you installed any new programs or updates  to other programs prior to your current issue with ABS freezing? I am not an expert..far from it…but I do have some IT knowledge and I have seen where one program can interfere with another.

    , I also got the ABO update today. I thought all the games resided in their own directories, but I suppose it is possible that there are some system files that are used by multiple games and are stored in a shared location.

    I was away for a couple of days and hadn’t tried ABS since Sunday. After seeing all the posts from everyone saying their ABS had started working, I tried mine. Oh miracle of miracles it works with no issues and I got a present with a PU like @kathy reported. Given that there was no update for ABS either before it broke or before it started working again, my guess is that the problem was with Rovio’s server(s).

    You don’t know me, @meanguy, but I am glad to hear that you made it through the storm with only minor damage.

    @kathy That worked, thanks. Unfortunately since I had been going in under a guest I’d, and logged in with a FB ID yesterday thinking that was the problem (I don’t recall seeing a lot in  screen for the Pig Challenge prior to this issue with the app crashing), I lost all my trophies progress in the Pig Challenge as well as some of the episodes that I had previously purchased with coins. . At least it doesn’t look like I lost any of my coins or powerups. I tried going back in as a guest, but it looks like a new I’d was assigned. Since I don’t recall my previous guest ID and I am not sure I could access it if I did, I guess I am out of luck as far as my trophies go. Oh well… it’s just a game after all, not the end of the world. Just annoying….

    @kathy yes, I meant the pig challenge. I tried your suggestion but it didn’t work. I get the log in screen, but as soon as I hit the login button (whether as guest or with Facebook) the app closes. I guess I will just have to wait for the update.

    I have been having the same issue since yesterday. Shutting off WiFi worked as far as getting Seasons to open. After turning WiFi back on, as soon as I tried to get into daily challenge it closed completely again.
